技术领域
本发明涉及使切割锯片停止转动的用于台锯的致动器,更具体地说,涉及一种致动器,当完成对所切割的材料的切割作业时,所述致动器使切割锯片停止转动。本发明适于各种切割作业,包括贯穿切割和非贯穿切割。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种具有顶表面的台锯,所述顶表面具有孔,切割锯片穿过该孔而延伸。所述孔的纵向长度大于切割锯片的直径,以向切割锯片提供空隙。所述台锯还具有致动器,该致动器位于临近所述孔的至少一侧且接近所述孔的纵向长度的中点的位置。当启动时,致动器用于使锯片停止转动。当完成所需的对所切割的材料的切割作业时,所述致动器将被启动。应该理解的是,之所以将致动器置于接近所述孔的纵向长度的中点的位置,是因为当到此处时对所切割的材料的切割作业已经完成。通过停止向用于驱动锯片的电机供电,通过设置与电机和锯片在操作过程中连接的离合器,从而使该离合器允许在电机运行的同时还防止锯片旋转,通过设置可使锯片停止转动的制动器,上述结构的组合以及其他已知的可使锯片停止转动的结构,都可用于使锯片停止转动。
在一个方面,所述致动器包括偏置开关,当所切割的材料与该偏置开关接触时,所述偏置开关被压下。开关的压下将使电路启动,从而当没有材料与开关的偏置力相作用时,该开关将偏置于远离台锯的表面并使切割锯片停止转动。在这方面,应该理解的是,所述开关通常被偏置于远离台锯的顶表面。所述致动器可包括激光器、红外线源、光电元件或其他类型的开关,从而当启动开关时,能够使切割锯片停止转动。

参考附图对本发明进行描述,在附图中,相同的元件用相同的数字来表示。通过以下的描述,将更容易地理解本发明的多个元件的关系和功能。所限定的每个方面可以与任何其他方面以及除非清楚地相反指出的多个方面相结合。下面描述的实施方式仅作为实施例,而且本发明并不限定于附图中所示的实施方式。
现在参考图1,显示有台锯10,该台锯具有本发明的切割完成致动器。台锯10可以是已知类型中的任何一种,如独立式台锯或便携式台锯。图1中所示的台锯设计为可移动的。台锯10包括顶表面(切割表面)12。该顶表面(切割表面)12包括孔30,锯片16穿过该孔30而延伸。通常,最好如图2所示,锯片通过位于顶表面12下面的电机18而旋转。锯片16用于切割沿顶表面(切割表面)12推动并与锯片16接触的材料20,如木材。
孔30具有限定宽度W的第一侧32和第二侧34以及限定纵向长度L的第一端36和第二端38。第一端36与待切割的材料20的开始部分相配合。换句话说,锯片16沿朝向孔30的第一端36的方向旋转。
在接近孔30的纵向长度L的中点且临近孔30的位置,设置有至少一个致动器40。可以想到,在临近所述孔30的至少一侧并接近所述孔30的纵向长度L的中点的位置设置致动器40。在一个方面,所述至少一个致动器40位于距离纵向长度L中点约10%的距离之内。例如,如果纵向长度为20mm,则中点位于10mm处,致动器可以位于距离孔30的第一端36约9至11mm的范围内。在另一方面,致动器40设置在纵向长度的中点。理想地,致动器设置在中点之后。术语“之后”的含义是致动器距离孔的第二端38比孔的第一端36更近。
当启动时,致动器40的作用是使锯片16停止转动。当完成对所切割的材料20的切割作业时,可以启动致动器40。应该理解的是,之所以将致动器40设置在孔30的纵向长度L的中点附近,是因为到此处时对所切割的材料20的切割作业已经完成。
通过停止向用于驱动锯片16的电机18供电,可使锯片16停止转动,或者通过设置在操作过程中连接于电机18和锯片16的离合器,从而使该离合器允许在电机18运行的同时还防止锯片16旋转。通过设置物理地使锯片16停止转动的制动器,也可使锯片16停止转动。当然,可以想到,上述用于使锯片16停止转动的每个结构都可以彼此组合而进行使用。
在一个方面,致动器40包括偏置开关,该偏置开关能够以如下方式启动。如图4所示,该开关通常偏置于从台锯10的顶表面12延伸的位置。当开始切割材料20时,开关被压下而启动,如图5所示。随后,当完成切割作业且材料移动过开关时,该开关再次偏置而远离顶表面,如图6所示,从而使锯片停止转动。本领域普通技术人员应该理解,上述致动器40能够在多种切割作业中运行,如贯穿切割、非贯穿切割,而且致动器40及其操作并不限于所进行的这种切割类型。
虽然图4至图6表示了致动器40的一种形式,但能够想得到,致动器可以包括激光器、红外线源、光电元件或其他类型的开关,从而当完成对所切割的材料的切割作业时,能够启动开关,以使切割锯片停止转动。
上述具体的描述仅对本发明能够采用的多种形式中的几种进行了描述。因此,该具体的描述作为说明,而不是作为限制。用于限定本发明范围的仅是包括所有等同物的下列权利要求。

Claims (4)

1.一种台锯,该台锯包括:
a.具有孔的顶表面,该孔具有限定纵向长度的第一端和第二端,可旋转的锯片穿过所述孔而延伸;
b.致动器,该致动器位于邻近所述孔且接近所述孔的纵向长度的中点的位置,能够操作所述致动器以使所述可旋转的锯片停止转动;
其中,所述致动器包括偏置开关,该偏置开关从所述顶表面向上延伸;所述致动器能够被顶表面上的待切割的材料压下,因此,当开始切割时,所述致动器被压下以启动所述可旋转的锯片;并且当完成切割作业完成后,所述材料移动过所述开关时,所述致动器偏置远离所述顶表面从而使所述锯片停止转动。
2.根据权利要求1所述的台锯,该台锯还包括用于驱动所述可旋转的锯片的电机。
3.根据权利要求2所述的台锯,其中,当所述致动器启动时,停止向所述电机供电。
4.根据权利要求1所述的台锯,其中,所述致动器距离所述孔的第二端比第一端更近。
