Abstract

Description
本发明涉及吸烟制品杆的制造,更具体地说涉及从一种薄片状材料薄幅(web)制成吸烟制品的杆的装置。
1985年末批准或登记了为数不少的外国专利。这些专利揭示了新颖的吸烟制品使用时具有抽香烟的益处和优点但不能释放出适量的不完全燃烧或热解产物。最早的此类专利要算1985年9月13日公开的第13985/3890号Liberian专利。该专利后来在欧洲专利申请中公开,公开号为174,645,公开日为1986年3月19日。
上述第174,645号欧洲专利公开物以及第212,234号欧洲专利公开物中描述的香烟型吸烟制品含有一种可燃烧的燃料元件和一与燃料元件分开的烟雾产生装置。所述燃料元件的燃烧为所述的烟雾产生装置提供产生烟雾的热量。有一烟嘴部件将所产生的烟雾送至吸用者的嘴处。这种烟嘴件以及其它用于此独特的香烟的部件需要改进是十分明显的。这样类型的烟嘴件和部件在1987年8月25日递交的伯恩斯等人(Barnes et al)的第089,692号美国专利中已有所描述,在此援引以供参阅。
本发明的目的在于提供一种有效和高效率地加工制造用于制造吸烟制品的杆的装置。
本发明涉及一种用于制造吸烟制品杆的装置。该装置包含(ⅰ)用于提供一种片状材料薄幅的装置,(ⅱ)用于将所述片状材料薄幅打褶并从打褶的薄幅提供一种杆状混合物的装置,(ⅲ)接受杆状混合物并且用包装材料包绕杆状混合物从而形成一连续杆的装置。所述装置也包含将所述连续杆切成多根预定长度的杆的装置。
所述的用于将片状材料薄幅打褶并从中提供杆状混合物的装置可称之为“片状材料薄幅预成形装置”。所述片状材料薄幅预成形装置最好包含一个截头圆锥管和置于该管内的一截头圆锥构件。所述内截头圆锥构件与截头圆锥管同心并同轴放置。这就在所述截头圆锥构件外表面和截头圆锥管内表面之间形成了一个环形区域(或环形空间)。
所述的片状材料薄幅预成形装置提供了使片状材料薄幅产生许多其形状和大小受到一定控制的褶的方式或方法。具体地说,所述片状材料被馈入前述的环形区域,且具有沿所述内截头圆锥构件径向部分包绕的倾向。于是所述片状材料薄幅在截头圆锥构件的周界缩小处形成出现皱褶。所述截头圆锥管子和内截头圆锥构件之间的径向间隔(即:环形区域的宽度)可以有所不同,可根据诸如片状材料薄幅特性等因素加以选择。环形区域宽度的选择为薄幅所需的打褶的图形提供了控制。在预成形装置出口端具有最大的皱褶并填满环形区域是需要的,而打褶后的片状材料薄幅可以从预成形装置顺利通过也同样需要。具有杆的形状的打褶片状材料薄幅随即直接进入一杆制作单元或其它类似的装置,从而用打褶的或预成形的薄片状材料薄幅制成杆。
这里所用的“截头圆锥”一词是指具有大体成截头体几何形状的物体。而“截头体”一词是指圆锥顶被一大致与其基底平行的平面切去的圆锥所成的几何形状。这里所用的“圆锥”一词是指一直角三角形沿直角边旋转所形成的几何外形。一个圆锥具有一尖端或顶,和一平的底面。
这里的仅用于本发明的“打褶”一词是指片状材料薄幅本身连续折叠。打褶的材料从端头向前看时具有波纹、折叠或皱折的外形;并弯曲卷绕到从端头向前看时材料呈现折叠或换言之呈收拢的程度。
这里的“片状”一词,意指材料在外形或形状上其宽度和长度大
大地超过其厚度。“薄幅”(web)一词意指片状材料在外形或形状上其纵向伸展的长度远大于其宽度。片状材料的薄幅最好以卷筒的形式提供。
本发明的装置用以制造烟嘴件的杆,与前述的欧洲专利公开物第174,645和212,234号所描述的独特香烟型吸烟制品一起使用。具体地说,呈杆状的打褶的非编织热塑性混合物可以起散热片的作用,冷却烟雾流,因而降低了热点。所述的散热作用是由于把烟雾流扩散在大面积上而产生的,最好烟雾流基本分布在整个烟嘴件表面区域。烟雾流扩散在大表面区域上,烟雾在烟嘴内留滞的时间增大从而降低了烟雾温度。此外,不同于传统的烟嘴件常常除去相当大量的各种成份诸如烟草烟的烟雾等,利用打褶的非编织片状材料薄幅热塑性材料作为烟嘴件的吸烟制品可以使温度降低而又不减少烟雾成份。例如,用于前述那些独特香烟型吸烟制品时可以不减少诸如甘油、香味等成分。换句话说,这种材料的过滤器效率可大大低于诸如用醋酸纤维束之类的传统的香烟过滤器材料。这样,本发明的装置可加工制造杆,而这样的杆可用来提供多种吸烟制品中的低过滤的过滤器元件。
图1为一种杆制作装置的示意图,它含有提供片状材料薄幅的材料源,用以提供具有一定张力的片状材料的展开装置,所述的片状材料薄幅预成形装置以及所述的杆形成单元;

参照图1,杆制作装置10包含一杆制作单元13,一用来馈给或换言之提供片状材料薄幅19的展开部件16,以及一片状材料薄幅
预成形装置22。所述杆制作单元13可以各种各样而最好用普通制造香烟过滤杆的装置。例如,一种可从市场上买到的典型的杆制造单元汉尼·KDF2,它是西德汉堡的汉尼-温克·荷伯公司制造的。杆制造单元的操作方法是熟练的技工所熟知的。
用来提供片状材料薄幅19的所述展开部件16含有一支承薄条卷筒31的可旋转的心轴28。所述心轴28包含用以啮合所述薄幅卷筒内部空心的一夹盘或诸如此类的其它装置。典型的夹盘在第3,792,868号美国专利中有所描述。所述片状材料薄幅19自薄幅卷筒31绕过固定导向滚筒35和浮动滚筒(张力调节辊)38连续不断地馈给。所述浮动滚筒由一可动臂42加以支承,从而形成一浮动部件,这样薄幅19可从卷筒31提供,同时获得一比较恒定的受控张力的薄幅。所述薄幅自所述浮动滚筒38绕过固定的导向滚筒45,绕过另一个固定导向滚筒49,并到达另一导向滚筒52之上。导向滚筒52用一个可调节的导向滚筒是比较方便的。所述片状材料薄幅19随即进入所述的预成形装置22。所述心轴28,浮动滚筒38以及导向滚筒35、45、49、52的组合提供一对片状材料薄幅的控制装置,用以使薄幅具有可控制的张力。浮动滚筒和导向滚筒也可以用其它结构,这对熟练的技工来说是不言而喻的。
心轴28可使所述的薄幅卷筒31沿箭头56所示方向旋转。这种旋转由皮带58(以虚线表示)的运动提供,皮带58位于支撑它的驱动臂60上。齿轮64的旋转使皮带58沿图示的箭头62方向运动。齿轮64以一个与所述杆制造部件驱动装置的速率同步的速率被驱动。
一个典型的展卷部件16可以安装两个薄幅卷筒,以便当一薄幅卷筒用完后另一卷筒可以接替上去从而尽量缩短停机时间。所述展卷部件16含有用以支承一第二薄幅卷筒(未图示)的心轴65。所述的展卷部件同样也含有浮动滚筒66,可动臂67(合起来形成一浮动部件)以及导向滚筒68、69,它们分别相对应于前述的浮动滚筒
38、可动臂42和导向滚筒35以及45。所述展卷部件也含由驱动臂71支承的皮带70(虚线表示),和齿轮72,它们分别与皮带58,驱动臂60和齿轮64相对应。
参看图2,展卷部件16包含一马达76,它的操作受来自一传感器(未图示)的信号控制,该传感器检测杆制造部件(未图示)驱动轴工作的速率。马达76的工作也受控于一第二传感器(未图示)的信号,该传感器检测所述浮动臂的运动,该运动由离开薄幅卷筒的薄幅的张力所产生。所述马达76既驱动轴78也驱动轴80。举例来说,马达76带动皮带轮81,该皮带轮带动皮带82,皮带82带动皮带轮83。所述皮带轮83带动驱动轴78和80。所述驱动轴78和80与皮带轮83的连接分别通过万向节头85和86加以实现。所述驱动轴78和80的另一端分别通过万向节头91和92与直角齿轮箱88和89相连。所述直角齿轮箱88和89分别通过皮带94和95带动齿轮64和72。每个驱动齿轮64和72各自配有离合和制动部件96和97。分别始于齿轮64和72的连接臂99和100各自与气筒102和103连接。所述气筒102和103分别为驱动臂60和71(图1所示)的运动提供一驱动力。所述气筒102和103也易于驱动臂60和71(图1所示)回缩以利于装上薄幅卷筒。
用于控制薄幅相对于所述杆制造部件的工作速率的方法还可以有很多种,这对熟练技工而言也是显而易见的。
参看图3至图6,片状材料薄幅预成形装置22含有一外截头圆锥管130(图中所示是它的截面图)以及一内截头圆锥构件133。管130和构件133彼此同轴设置,从而在内部的构件133之外侧区域与外部管130之内侧区域之间形成一环形空间136。
如图3所示,管130和构件133形状相似,致使所述环形空间136的宽度W沿所述薄幅预成形装置的纵向长度上基本保持不变。“相似”一词是指所述管130的截头圆锥的形状除了尺寸大小以外基
本上与构件133是相同的。
如图4所示,管130的外形相对于构件133收敛,致使环形区域136的宽度W沿所述薄幅预成形装置的纵向长度逐渐减小。
如图5所示,管130的外形相对于构件133岔开,致使环形区域136的宽度W沿所述薄幅预形成装置的纵向长度逐渐地增大。
如图6所示,所述的内构件133具有一穿过它纵向延伸的、周界较小的管137。这样,具有线状、条状、杆状或管状的材料可导入打褶的薄幅或杆状混合物中。另外,所述内构件的窄端部可具有一组小的开口138或其它可以使气流通过的装置,从而减少在通过所述片状材料薄幅预成形装置时内构件133和所述薄幅之间的摩擦接触。如果需要的话,外构件的窄端部可开一组小开口140或其它可以使气流通过的装置,从而减少在通过所述薄幅预成形装置时外构件130和所述薄幅之间的摩擦接触。一环形套筒145(图中剖开的形式表示)置于小开口140的周围,以保证空气管道148(剖开图示)提供的气流通过所述开口140。所述气流可方便地从一空气管道装备管子的气流源或其它气流传送装置加以提供。
再重新参看图3至图6。所述内构件133和外管子130通过托架140或其它适宜的连接装置彼此保持在固定位置上。一种方便的托架装置含有可移动的托架141,它内含调整/锁定螺钉142。所述可移动托架141可沿一基本平行于内构件133和外管子130的轴线运动。所述可滑动托架141可沿导向装置146移动。导向装置146可通过点焊或其它合适的装置牢牢地固定在外管130的外表面上。所述可滑动托架141通过连接臂148或其它合适的连接装置与内构件133连接。这样,内构件133可沿其纵向轴移动,从而使所述的环形区域136的宽度W可按需要加以选择。
所述薄幅预成形装置22相对于所述杆制作部件固定。通常,可以用固定于外管子130上的支撑件160,方便地把所述薄幅预成形
装置固定于所述杆制作部件上。所述支撑件160通常有滑轨162,可相对于相应的杆制作部件的托架164移动。所述支撑件含有调节杆166。这样,所述薄幅预成形装置可沿其纵向轴运动,从而使外管子130的出口区域169可相对于所述杆制作部件的舌状物175置于不同的位置。
所述薄幅预成形装置的外管子130通常是铸造件,由不锈钢片或诸如之类的材料加工制成。一般来说,金属片的厚度大约为0.02英寸至大约0.05英寸,厚度约为0.03英寸的较好,适于大多数的使用场合。所述内构件133通常用与外管子130相类似的材料进行。所述内构件133具有封闭的端部185和187,以便待预成形的薄幅物可容易地进入所述环形区域136而不进入构内件中。然而,如果需要的话内构件133的端部也可以开口形成管子。
一种典型的薄幅预成形装置含有一外层的截头圆锥管,该管的窄区域具有的最小内径约为16毫米,进入区域的最大内径约为242毫米,轴线长度约为313毫米;一与外管子相似的内构件具有的窄区域的最小外直径约为18毫米,进口区域的最大外径约为229毫米,轴线长度约为318毫米。这样的外管子和内构件可同轴排列,使所述的环形区域的宽度W(例如,一径向宽度)约为1至10毫米,最好约为3毫米。一般地说,宽度为6英寸至15英寸,8英寸至12英寸宽的薄幅可利用这样典型的薄幅预成形装置进行加工。
所述薄幅预成形装置22含有薄幅进口区域或薄幅进口处200,它一般在薄幅预成形装置宽的一头的底部区域附近而与托架140相对。最好,薄幅预成形装置内截头圆锥构件的最大外周大于薄幅宽度的两倍。所述薄幅预成形装置22也含有出口区域或窄区域169。所述内构件的进入区域可制成圆角或换言之成圆形的,以防止车杆形成步骤期间撕坏薄幅。
所述薄幅进入薄幅预成形装置时最好只有一个非常低的张力或
基本上处于无张力状态,这意味着薄幅在进入预成形装置时处于一种不沿长度伸长的状态。这样,薄幅在经过预成形装置时具有包绕所述内构件径向部分的倾向。然而,薄幅的起褶,则是因为薄幅在所述内截头圆锥构件的窄端(即,出口端)附近受到增大的张力所致。
图7为薄幅预成形装置的另一实施例。所述薄幅预成形装置22含有一外截头圆锥管子130和一内截头圆锥管子133(图中是它们的剖视图)。一更内层的内截头圆锥构件220相对于管130和133处于同轴位置,以致在外管子130的内区域和内管子136的外区域之间形成一个环形间隙136;在内管子136的内区域和内构件220的外区域之间形成一环形间隙222。这样,两个独立的薄幅可同时馈入环形区域136和222(利用两个合适的薄幅展开部件),从而使每个薄幅起褶而形成一杆。这样,可以制成具有两种起褶片状材料的杆。具体地说,所述起褶的薄幅经过外环形区域136退出预成形装置时包在经内环形区域222退出预成形装置的起褶的薄幅上而形成一连续的杆。
再参看图1。所述薄幅预成形装置的窄出口区域相对舌状物175或其它收拢装置配置,以使已起褶的、形成一杆状混合物的(未图示)薄幅可进入到所述的杆形成部件13之中。也就是说,起褶的薄幅大体上具有圆柱形的外形。所述起褶的薄幅以一种杆状混合物的形状从薄幅预成形装置的窄区域169出来后,被送入具有一循环的传送带243的包装机构240中。利用推进机构245把所述传送带连续地、纵向地向前推动。滚轮247用于导引位于所述杆形成部件舌状物175下方的所述传送带。所述包装机构使一包装材料249包在所述圆柱形混合物的外表面,从而产生一种连续的杆252。一般地说,薄幅外包装材料由卷筒254提供。滚轮257用于导引所述薄幅包装材料进入附属器件。
所述循环附属传送带在将包装材料绕在所述圆筒形混合物周围时,将薄幅包装纸249和圆柱形混合物或以纵向伸展的方式传送过所述的包装机构240。由包装材料重叠边缘部分形成的接口处具有由敷料器262提供的粘结剂(如,热熔粘结剂)。所述热熔粘结剂在活化区域265被活化,以使所述包装材料能形成在圆柱形混合物上形成一管状容器。所述粘结剂可利用冷却棒270进行冷却以使粘结剂迅速地凝固。其它密封包装材料的装置也可以用来提供一连续的杆。
所述连续杆252自密封装置出来后,用切割装置276按所需要的预定长度切断。按预定长度切断的杆278用如盆、收集筒等等的收集装置280进行收集。
所述薄幅可以多种多样。薄幅可以是诸如再制烟草材料之类的天然材料,或诸如热塑性聚合物材料之类的合成材料。虽然大多数热塑性聚合物可用来制备薄幅材料较好的热塑性聚合物是诸如等规聚丙烯之类的聚烯烃以及诸如聚(丁烯对酞酸盐)之类的聚酯。由于熔吹热成形工艺的性质,各种添加剂(如:碳酸钙)在挤压成形时很容易结合进入熔化的聚合物内部或吹在熔化的聚合物的表面,以便改变所述熔吹薄幅的结构,从而改变吸烟制品过滤器件的特性。同时,熔吹的薄幅形成后可容易地用干性或液状的助剂进行已知的后处理,从而提供某些器官感觉上的和/或医疗的上的属性。
片状材料薄幅的宽度可以不同,典型的宽度是要能被打褶而形成所述的杆。制成一所需要的杆所用条的总宽度视诸如薄片状材料厚度、所需打褶的数目,所产生的褶的性质或特性,材料的表同特性(即:纤维表面特性与光滑表面之比),材料的气孔率,材料的含湿量,材料的润滑特性,所述薄幅预成形装置相对于薄片状材料的摩擦特性,以及其它诸如之类因素而定。
较佳的片状材料具有薄,较高拉伸强度,韧性和相对良好的柔
性。具体地说,薄幅需要具有一个良好的性能,在折叠或打摺过种中保持褶皱而不会撕裂,卷曲,破开或者说断裂。所述薄幅要能很容易打褶。具体地说,薄幅不能太硬而打不起褶来;又不能太软而提供太软的(即,不结实的)、韧性差的杆。这样,可快速地制成起褶的杆状混合物同时很容易包封在外包装材料内。
参看图8至图10,杆278大致成圆柱形及一基本上呈圆形的横截面。杆的每个端部最好形成垂直于纵向轴的一平面。所述杆最好在片状材料薄幅19中含有多个纵向延伸的皱褶,所述打褶的薄幅包在诸如香烟包装纸或烟草块包装纸之类的外包装材料249内,这种包装纸环绕所述皱褶,形成一管筒形外形。图10所示的杆具有纵向延伸的管285。
通常杆的长度约为80毫米至130毫米,周径约从16毫米至28毫米。一种典型的杆如图8所示,具有再制烟草材料的薄幅19,长80毫米,周径24.5毫米,在气流率为17.5cc/秒下所测出的压力降约为20毫米至40毫米水柱,这是利用一种密封的压力降落试验器测量的,这从测量器可从市场上购得,型号为FTS-300(Model No.FTS-300 by Filtrona Corporation)。典型杆的压力降落可以控制在很低或相当高的水平,视诸如起褶薄幅宽度、起褶材料特性等等因素而定。
典型的杆表现出良好的硬度和良好的完整性。具体地说,打褶的薄幅不应该从杆的两端散出来,所述杆表现的硬度值应小于10单位,最好小于5单位,这是在相对湿度为百分之六十、温度76°F下对约为24.5毫米圆柱杆测得的特性,测量器用的是北卡罗莱纳州,温斯顿-沙姆的仙童工业公司提供的一种型号为CFTA的香烟硬度测试器(a Cigarette Firmness Tester Model No.CFTA Supplied by Fairchild Industries,Winston-Salem,NorthCarolina)。这样,可用较少量的片状材料制成硬度很大的杆,这样制成的杆具有相当多的纵向
延伸的空气通道。
下面提供的实例是为了进一步对本发明进行描述,而不应作为对本发明的限制。除特别说明以外,所有数字和百分比均以重量计。
实例1
前面叙述过以及如图1、2和3所示的一种装置。所述薄幅预成形装置含有一具有圆形横截面的外管,它用厚度为0.03英寸的不锈钢制成。所述管子具有内径为16毫米的窄区域,最大内径为242毫米的进口区域,和313毫米的轴向长度。所述内构件具有封闭的端部,圆形横截面,由厚度为0.03英寸的不锈钢片制成。所述内构件具有最小外径为18毫米的窄区域。最大外径为229毫米的进口区域,318毫米的轴向长度。所述管子和构件大体上相似,管子的夹角为40°左右,构件的夹角为38°左右。所述的外管和内构件同心且同轴放置致使它们之间的环形区域的宽度约为3毫米。所述薄幅(下面会进行更详尽的描述)被送入所述外管和内构件之间的环形区域。所述薄幅预成形装置的设置使其纵向轴相对于所述杆制作部件中的舌状物及传送带的纵向轴约成15°角。
一种称为PP-100-F的实验性熔吹、粗纤维、聚丙烯薄幅材料从钦伯理-克拉克公司(Kimberly-Clark Corporation)获得。所述薄幅中含有约2%的甘油,以提高材料的可加工性能。所述薄幅的宽度约为11.75英寸,每平方码的基本重量约为0.75盎司。
所述薄幅自支撑于一薄幅控制部件上的卷筒进给,薄幅从与支撑截头圆锥管和截头圆锥构件的托架相对的薄幅预成形装置的较低区域送入,薄幅随后用一种KDF-2杆制作部件形成一杆。一分钟内可制出约2000根长120毫米的杆。外包装纸用烟草块包装纸包装,该包装纸可从钦伯理-克拉克公司获得,型号为P-1487-184-2制成的周长为24.10毫米。
从端部向前看,杆具有一种打褶的图形。一种代表性的打褶图
形如图9所示。用费尔车纳公司型号为FTS-300的压力降落测试器测量。具有约为90毫米至120毫米水柱压力降。
实例2
如实例1中描述的装置用含有烟草纸的薄幅加工成杆。所述纸含有再制烟草材料,可从钦伯理·克拉克公司获得,商品名称为P144-185-GAPF再制烟草纸。
所述材料约含60%的主要以烟薰的/巴利烟草茎形式的烟草和35%的软木浆(干材料的重量)。所述片状材料薄幅的含水量最好约在11%和14%之间。所述材料具有干的抗拉强度约为1600至3300gm/incg,干的基本重量约为38至44克/平方米。所述材料用传统的制纸工艺进行加工制造,另加约为2%的甘油或其它湿润剂,约1.8%的碳酸钾,约0.1%的香味和约1%的胶料。所述胶料可从荷库拉斯公司(在德拉瓦州的惠明敦)获得,商品名称为阿克倍尔360XC活性胶料(Aquapel 360XC Reactive Size from Hercules Corp,Wilmington,Delaware)。薄幅的宽度约为8.5英寸。
从杆端向前看时,杆具有一种打褶的图形。一种典型的打褶图形如图8所示。杆长约为120毫米,用费尔车纳型号为FTS-300的压力降落测试器测量得到的压力降落约为100毫米的水柱压力降落。
实例3
前面已叙述过的、如图1,2和6所示的装置。所述薄幅预成形装置含有一由厚为0.03英寸不锈钢制造的外管。所述外管具有内径为16毫米的窄区域,最大内径为242毫米的进口区域,轴向长度为313毫米。一内构件,所述内构件端部封闭,用厚为0.03英寸的不锈钢片制成。所述内构件具有外径为18毫米的窄区域,最大外径为229毫米的进口区域,轴向长度为318毫米。所述外管和内构件同心且同轴放置,以使两者之间形成具有约3毫米的宽的环形空间。所
述薄幅预成形装置与所述杆制作部件的舌状物及附属性传送带的纵向轴约成15°角。所述薄幅预成形装置含有一内径为0.156英寸、外径为0.25英寸穿过内构件伸展的圆柱状金属管,该管约伸出内构件窄头端3英寸。
用如实例2中描述的一种内含烟草的纸的薄幅加工成杆。然而,当薄幅穿过所述的薄幅预成形部件时,具有外径约为4毫米、内径约为3.5毫米的聚丙烯管子自卷筒送入,并通过前述的所述穿过内构件伸展的窄管。
所述杆从杆端向前看时具有一种打褶图形,同时有一管子纵向穿过。一种典型的从杆端向前看的视图如图10所示。
Claims (11)
1、一种用来制造吸烟制品中使用的杆的装置,它含有:
(a)提供片状材料薄幅(web)的装置;
(b)用于使所述片状材料薄幅打褶并提供一种杆状混合物的装置;
(c)用以接受所述杆状混合物并用包装材料包绕所述杆状混合物而形成一连续杆的装置;
(d)用于将所述连续杆分割成多根杆的装置;
其特征在于,所述使片状材料薄幅打褶并提供杆状混合物的装置包含一外截头圆锥管和一与所述管子同心且与其同轴放置的内截头圆锥构件,致使(i)在所述内截头圆锥构件外表面和所述外截头圆锥管子的内表面之间形成一环形空间,(ii)所述片状材料薄幅送入环形空间。
2、如权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于所述的内截头圆锥构件为一截头圆锥管。
3、如权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于所述的外截头圆锥管与所述的内截头圆锥构件的外形相似。
4、如权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于所述外截头圆锥管子外形相对于所述内截头圆锥构件岔开(发散)。
5、如权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于所述外截头圆锥管子外形相对于所述内截头圆锥构件逐渐收缩。
6、如权利要求1或3所述的装置,其特征在于所述环形空间的宽度范围为1至10毫米。
7、如权利要求3所述的装置,其特征在于所述环形区域的宽度约为3毫米。
8、如权利要求1或3所述的装置,其特征在于所述的内截头圆锥构件具有一个沿纵向穿过延伸的大体为圆柱形的管子。
9、如权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于所述内截头圆锥构件的最大周界大于由所述片状材料薄幅提供装置提供的片状材料薄幅宽度的两倍。
10、一种制造吸烟制品中使用的杆的装置,它含有:
(a)用以提供一第一种片状材料薄幅的装置;
(b)用以提供一第二种片状材料薄幅的装置;
(c)用来使片状材料薄幅打褶并从中提供一杆状混合物的装置,
(d)用以接受所述杆状混合物并用包装材料包绕所述杆状混合物而形成一连续杆的装置;
(e)用以将所述连续杆切割成多根杆的装置;
其特征在于,所述使片状材料薄幅打褶并从中提供杆状混合物的装置包含:
(ⅰ)一第一截头圆锥管子与所述第一管子同心且与所述第一管子同轴放置的第二截头圆锥管子,以使第二管子的外表面与第一管子的内表面之间形成一环形区域,
(ⅱ)一与所述第二管子同心并与第二管子同轴放置的一内截头圆锥构件,以使所述内截头圆锥构件外表面与第二管子的内表面之间形成一环形区域;
11、如权利要求10所述的装置,其特征在于所述第一截头圆锥管外形与所述第二截头圆锥管子和所述内截头圆锥构件的外形相似。
