从一种运行范围状态变化到另一个运行范围状态包括至少一种离合器状态的转换。从一种固定档位状态到另一种固定档位状态的示例性转换包括卸载第一离合器,通过惯性滑行(其中没有离合器保持接合)或者惯性速度阶段状态(phase state)(其中至少一个离合器保持接合)过渡,随后加载第二离合器。作为输入转矩和存在于变速箱中的减速系数的结果,通过变速箱导致的输出转矩作用在连接到锁定且同步的离合器(在该离合器卸载之前)的传动系上。在这种转矩传递状态下,在换档期间如此配置的变速箱被认为处于转矩阶段。在转矩阶段,输出转矩及作用于车辆的其他力的作用是产生车辆速度和车辆加速度。卸载离合器会去除来自先前锁定且同步的离合器的所有输入转矩。结果,先前通过该离合器施加给输出转矩的任何推进力迅速减少到零。在一个示例性配置中,另一个离合器保持接合并向输出端传递转矩,同时该变速箱与该第二离合器同步。在这种配置中,该变速箱处于惯性速度阶段。当需加载的第二离合器被同步并被加载时,变速箱再次进入转矩阶段,其中输出转矩及作用于车辆的其他力的作用是产生车辆速度和车辆加速度。尽管离合器的卸载和加载所造成的输出转矩变化或中断是变速箱运行范围状态变换的正常部分,但是输出转矩变化的有序管理仍会减少换档对操控性的影响。
如上所述,设计为同步操作的离合器中的打滑是经常出现的不希望的结果。然而,特定的离合器设计仍然可以允许其他同步控制方案中的有控制的打滑以实现特定目的。有控制的打滑可能有用的一个示例性目的就是在于帮助控制通过待分离的离合器的卸载转矩阶段传递的反作用转矩。通过受控的打滑事件来利用同步离合器以帮助控制转矩阶段的方法将有利于离合器操作的多个方面。
发明内容
动力系包括机械地-操作地联接到内燃发动机的电-机械变速箱和适合于选择性地向输出元件传递机械功率的电机。用于控制动力系的方法包括:命令从第一运行范围状态到第二运行范围状态的换挡,识别待分离(off-going)的离合器,控制来自所述电机的转矩输出以卸载通过所述待分离的离合器传递的反作用转矩,选择性地施用待接合(oncoming)的离合器来卸载通过所述待分离的离合器传递的反作用转矩,以及在通过所述待分离的离合器传递的反作用转矩基本为零时,减少所述待分离的离合器的离合器转矩容量。

具体实施方式
现在参考附图,其中附图只用于图示某些示例性实施例而不是限定这些实施例,图1和2描绘了示例性电-机械混合动力系。图1描绘了根据本公开内容的示例性电-机械混合动力系,其包括操作地连接到发动机14和第一、第二电机(‘MG-A’)56和(‘MG-B’)72上的双模式,复合-分离,电-机械混合变速箱10。该发动机14和第一、第二电机56和72各自产生可传递给变速箱10的功率。由发动机14和第一、第二电机56和72产生的并被传递给变速箱10的功率用术语输入转矩和速度来描述,这里输入转矩分别用TI,TA和TB表示,速度则分别用NI,NA,NB表示。

上述控制模块通过局域网(此后表示为‘LAN’)总线6与其他控制模块、传感器和致动器通讯。该LAN总线6允许不同操作模块之间的工作参数状态与致动器命令信号的结构化通讯。所用的特定通讯协议是专用的。LAN总线6和适当的协议在上述控制模块之间以及和提供例如防抱死、牵引控制和车辆稳定性功能的其他控制模块之间提供鲁棒通讯和多重控制模块接口。多重通讯总线可被用来增加通讯速度并提供某一级别的信号冗余性和完整性。还可以使用直接连接,例如串行外围接口(‘SPI’)总线(未示出),实现各个控制模块之间的通讯。
HCP 5对动力系提供监督控制,用于ECM 23、TCM 17、TPIM 19和BPCM21的协调工作。根据来自用户接口13和包括ESD 74的动力系的不同输入信号,HCP 5产生不同的命令,包括:操作者转矩请求(‘TO_REQ’)、给传动系90的命令输出转矩(‘TCMD’)、发动机输入转矩请求、变速箱10的转矩传递离合器C1 70、C2 62、C3 73、C4 75的离合器转矩;以及第一和第二电机56和72各自的转矩请求。TCM 17操作地连接到液压控制回路42并提供各种功能,包括监控各种压力传感装置(未示出)、产生控制信号并传给各种螺线管(未示出),由此控制液压控制回路42中的压力开关和控制阀。
ECM 23操作地连接到发动机14,其功能是通过多条离散的线路获取来自传感器的数据并控制发动机14的致动器,为简单起见,该多条离散的线路图示为集合的双向接口电缆35。ECM 23接收来自HCP 5的发动机输入转矩请求。在那一时间点,ECM 23根据监控到的并被传给HCP 5的发动机转速和负载确定提供给变速箱10的实际发动机输入转矩TI。ECM 23监控来自转速传感器11的输入以确定输入轴12的发动机输入速度,这个速度转化为变速箱输入速度NI。ECM 23监控来自传感器(未示出)的输入以确定其他发动机工作参数的状态,这些参数包括,例如歧管压力、发动机冷却液温度、环境空气温度和环境压力。例如从歧管压力或者替代地从监控加速踏板113的操作者输入可确定发动机负荷。ECM 23产生并传输控制发动机致动器的命令信号,这些发动机致动器包括,例如燃料喷射器、点火模块和节气门控制模块,这些在图中均未示出。
TCM 17操作地连接到变速箱10并监控来自传感器(未示出)的输入,以确定变速箱工作参数的状态。TCM 17产生并传输控制变速箱10的命令信号,包括控制液压控制回路42。从TCM 17到HCP 5的输入包括:该离合器,即C1 70、C2 62、C3 73和C4 75的每一个的估计离合器转矩和输出元件64的旋转输出速度NO。出于控制目的,其他驱动器和传感器可被用来提供从TCM 17到HCP 5的附加信息。TCM 17监控来自压力开关(未示出)的输入并且选择性地致动液压控制回路42的压力控制螺线管(未示出)和换档螺线管(未示出)以选择性地致动不同的离合器C1 70、C2 62、C3 73和C4 75来实现如下文所描述的各种变速箱运行范围状态。
BPCM 21信号连接到传感器(未示出)来监控ESD 74,包括电流和电压参数的状态,以对HCP 5提供反映ESD 74的电池的参数状态的信息。该电池的参数状态优选包括电池的荷电状态、电池电压、电池温度和用范围PBAT_MIN至PBAT_MAX表示的可用电池电量。
控制模块ECM 23、TCM 17、TRIM 19和BPCM 21的每一个优选为通用数字计算机,其包括微处理器或中央处理器,包括只读存储器(‘ROM’)、随机存取存储器(‘RAM’)、电可编程序只读存储器(‘EPROM’)的存储介质,高速时钟,模拟/数字转换(‘A/D’)和数字/模拟转换(‘D/A’)电路,输入/输出电路和装置(‘I/O’),适当的信号处理和缓冲电路。每个控制模块都具有一套控制算法,其包括存储在存储介质之一中的常驻程序指令和校验(calibration),执行这些算法以提供每个计算机的相应功能。优选使用LAN总线6和SPI总线实现控制模块之间的信息传递。在预设循环期间执行该控制算法使用每个算法在每个循环至少被执行一次。由中央处理单元之一采用预设的校验来执行存储在非易失性存储装置中的算法,以监控来自传感装置的输入,并执行控制致动器操作的控制和诊断程序。在动力系的即时正在进行的工作期间,定期执行循环,例如每3.125、6.25、12.5、25和100毫秒执行一次。或者,响应事件的发生而执行算法。
该示例性动力系选择性地在若干运行范围状态之一下工作,这些状态可以用包括发动机开状态(‘ON’)和发动机关状态(‘OFF’)之一的发动机状态的术语和包括若干固定档位和无级变速工作模式的变速箱状态的术语来描述变速箱状态,以下参考表1对这些状态进行描述。表1

作为经由加速踏板113和制动踏板112并由用户接口13所捕获的操作者输入的响应,,HCP 5和一个或多个其他控制模块确定出用来满足操作者转矩请求TO_REQ的所命令的输出转矩TCMD,该输出转矩TCMD被施加在输出元件64处,并被传给传动系90。最终车辆加速度会受到其他因素的影响,包括例如道路载荷、道路坡度和车辆质量。根据动力系的各种工作特性,确定变速箱10的运行范围状态。这包括如前所描述的通过加速踏板113和制动踏板112传递到用户接口13的操作者转矩请求。该运行范围状态是基于在电能产生模式或转矩产生模式下运行第一和第二电机56和72的命令所引起的动力系转矩要求。该运行范围状态可通过最佳算法或程序确定,例如在HCP 5的混合战略控制模块中发起的算法或程序,这种算法或程序根据操作者对功率的需求、电池的荷电状态、和发动机14、第一和第二电机56和72的能量效率确定最佳的系统效率。控制系统根据所执行的优化程序的结果管理来自发动机14、第一和第二电机56和72的转矩输入(因此系统效率得到优化),以管理燃料经济性和电池充电。此外,可以根据部件或系统中的故障来确定操作。HCP 5监控转矩生成装置,并确定出变速箱10的功率输出,该功率输出是获得满足操作者转矩请求所想要的输出转矩所需的。ESD 74和第一、第二电机56、72是电地-操作地联接,以便在它们之间传递功率流,从上面的描述中应该看出这一点是很明显的。此外,发动机14、第一和第二电机56和72和电-机械变速箱10是机械地-操作地联接,以在它们之间传递功率,进而产生至输出元件64的功率流。
如上面所讨论的,为了维持操控性,管理输出转矩是在控制混合动力系中是优先的。响应输出转矩请求变化并通过变速箱施加的任何转矩变化会导致施加给传动系的输出转矩的变化,由此导致车辆推进力的变化和车辆加速度的变化。转矩请求的变化可以来自操作者输入(例如涉及操作者转矩请求的踏板位置),车辆自动控制(例如巡航控制或其他控制策略),或者响应环境条件的发动机变化,例如车辆正在上坡或下坡。通过控制施加到混合动力系中的变速箱的各种输入转矩的变化,可以控制并最小化车辆加速度方面的突变以减少对操控性的不利影响。
正如本领域普通技术人员所知的,任何控制系统都包括反应时间。动力系工作点的变化,包括为实现所需车辆操作所需要的不同部件对动力系的速度和转矩,是由控制信号的变化驱动的。这些控制信号变化作用在动力系的不同部件上,并且根据它们各自的反应时间在每个中引起反应。例如,施加给混合动力系并指明新的转矩请求的控制信号的任何变化(其由操作者转矩请求的变化所驱动或者是执行换档所需要的)在每个受到影响的转矩生成装置中引起反应以便执行相应输入转矩所要求的变化。发动机所提供的输入转矩的变化是由发动机转矩请求控制的,该发动机转矩请求设定发动机产生的转矩,例如通过ECM控制发动机转矩请求。在发动机中对发动机的转矩请求的变化的反应时间受到现有技术中众所周知的许多因素影响,并且发动机操作变化的特点很大程度上取决于所用发动机的特点和所用的燃烧模式。在很多情况下,发动机对转矩请求变化的反应时间将是混合动力系统元件的最长反应时间。在电机中对转矩请求变化的反应时间包括致动任何必要的开关、继电器或其他控制装置的时间以及随所施加电能的变化向电机提供电能或使电机释放电能的时间。
图3图示了根据本公开内容的、示例性混合动力系部件对转矩请求变化的反应时间。举的例子是示例性混合动力系的部件包括发动机和两个电机。图示了转矩要求和所引起的每个转矩生成装置产生的输入转矩的变化。如上所描述的,数据显示出电机快速响应转矩请求的变化,而发动机则较慢地跟随转矩请求的变化。
公开了一种方法,其利用混合动力系中的发动机和电机的反应时间来并行控制用于控制发动机的超前即时转矩请求和用于控制电机的即时转矩请求,这些转矩请求通过各自的反应时间来协调以便实现输入转矩的基本同时的变化。
因为已知发动机输入转矩的变化比电机输入转矩的变化始终需要更长的反应时间(如以上所讨论的),该公开方法的一个示例性实施例可以执行给发动机和电机的转矩请求的变化,其如上所描述的并行动作,包括对更快反应装置电机的超前期(lead period)。这个超前期可通过建模或其他足够精确预测发动机和电机运行的技术来试验地、经验地、预测地得到,并且同一混合动力系可以使用众多的超前期,该超前期取决于不同的发动机设置、工况、操作和范围以及车辆工况。根据本公开内容可以用于结合试验数据或装置反应时间的估算值以计算超前期的示例性公式包括下列内容。TLead=TLead Reaction-TImmediate Reaction [1]TLead等于用于本文所描述的方法的超前期。该公式假定使用两个转矩生成装置。TLead Reaction表示具有较长反应时间的装置的反应时间,TImmediate Reaction表示具有较短反应时间的装置的反应时间。如果使用一种不同的系统,其包括例如具有长超前期的发动机、具有中间超前期的第一电机和具有短超前期的第二电机,比较所有转矩产生装置可以得出超前期。在这个示例性系统中,如果涉及到所有三个转矩产生装置,将利用两个超前期(发动机与每个电机相比形成一个超前期)来同步每个装置中的反应。在一不同时间,该同一系统可以在发动机熄火并且与变速箱分离的情况下运行,并且,将会利用通过比较第一电机和第二电机而得到的超前期来使两个电机中的反应同步。这样,超前期可用来协调不同转矩产生装置之间的反应时间。
利用超前期执行不同转矩产生装置的并行的转矩请求以实现输出转矩的基本同时的变化作为对操作者转矩请求的响应的一个示例性方法包括基本上即时发出发动机转矩即时请求的变化,在发动机内部引发新的发动机输出转矩的变化。这个新的发动机输出转矩,与电机运行状态一起,仍由HCP控制以便提供推进车辆所需的变速箱总输入转矩的一部分。从发动机转矩即时请求变化的这一点起,超前期终止,如上所描述的,考虑了发动机和电机之间的反应时间差异。在超前期之后,执行发送到电机的转矩请求的变化(该转矩请求变化由HCP控制以便实现一部分操作者转矩请求),电机则改变了电机的运行状态,并且如上所述,由发动机和电机提供的输入转矩的变化基本同时地变化。

通过根据不同部件的反应时间协调给不同转矩产生装置的信号命令,可以对用于本文所公开的方法的通过变速箱换档产生的输入转矩的变化进行调节来减少对操控性的负面作用。如上所述,许多变速箱换挡可分解为三个阶段:第一转矩阶段,在此期间最初施用的离合器从承受转矩、锁定的且同步的离合器状态变为解锁的且不同步的离合器状态;惯性速度阶段,在此期间受到影响的离合器被解锁并处于转换状态;和第二转矩阶段,在此期间先前未施用的第二离合器从解锁的且不同步的离合器状态变为承受转矩、锁定的且同步的离合器状态。如上所提及的,在变速箱换档过程中优选避免离合器打滑以避免对操控性的不利影响,当离合器上所施加的反作用转矩超过该离合器的实际转矩容量时就会出现离合器打滑。因此,在变速箱换挡过程中,必须根据当前使用的离合器的实际转矩容量管理输入转矩,使得可以无打滑地完成变速箱换挡。
在利用一种程序按顺序执行离合器负载或卸载情况下的必要的步骤时,维持离合器的转矩容量超过反作用转矩,解锁转换中所涉及的时间对操控性也是重要的。因此,并行执行相关的转矩请求和离合器容量命令是有好处的,同时仍对防止打滑起作用。这样并行执行控制变化意图是实现与变速箱换挡有关的离合器状态的变化,这种并行执行优选在尽可能短的时间范围内发生。因此,根据给发动机和电机的转矩请求换档变速箱所涉及的离合器的转矩容量的协调(如在上述示例性实施例中所描述的)对于维持变速箱换挡过程中的操控性也是重要的。图5-7描述了根据本公开内容结合来完成示例性变速箱换挡的示例性程序。
图5是根据本公开内容与经过示例性过渡解锁状态的离合器有关的转矩术语的图形表示。图形最左端所示的线描绘了锁定状态下的离合器操作。图形描绘了由离合器控制系统控制的离合器命令转矩和所得到的估计转矩容量。由一命令转矩所产生的离合器中的离合器转矩容量是许多因素作用的结果,包括可用的夹紧压力,离合器的设计和条件因素,对离合器控制系统中变化的离合器反应时间。正如初始锁定区域中图形的示例性数据所示,已知的是命令给锁定离合器的转矩超过离合器容量并允许影响离合器的其它因素确定最终的离合器容量。在描绘处于锁定状态的离合器操作的图形的最左端,还描绘了作为来自发动机和电机的输入转矩的结果被施加给离合器的估计反作用转矩。在标识为“初始解锁状态”的时间处,离合器控制系统或TCM(已经确定需要将离合器从锁定状态转换到解锁状态)内的逻辑将命令转矩变为低于转矩容量的某一级别但是仍旧高于目前施加到该离合器的反作用转矩。在该点处,离合器控制系统内部的机构(例如示例性液压离合器控制系统内的可变压控制螺线管)改变设置来调整离合器内的夹紧力。结果,离合器的转矩容量开始随施加给该离合器的夹紧力变化而变化。正如以上所讨论的,离合器在反应时间内对命令转矩的变化作出反应,并且特定离合器的反应时间取决于应用的具体情况。在图5的示例性图形中,转矩容量对命令转矩的减少作出反应并且因此开始减少。
如上所述,在同一解锁状态中,由输入转矩和电机转矩引起的反作用转矩也必须从该离合器卸载下来。在整个解锁状态过程中,如果反作用转矩没有被维持低于转矩容量,就会出现不希望的打滑。在解锁状态的开始(处于图5的基本相同位置上,在该位置处转矩容量被减少以开始解锁状态)启动限制并将其强加给来自发动机和电机的输入转矩,以便实现每个输入转矩急降为零。正如在此公开的方法和上述示例性实施例中所描述的,包括发动机转矩即时请求和即时转矩请求的限制的变化在协调程序中进行,实现对各种转矩提供装置的反应时间的标定超前期,使得这些装置的导致的输入转矩基本同时地被减少。图5图示了一种对转矩请求进行协调变化的方法,该方法将即时限制以抑制发动机转矩即时请求的离合器反作用转矩超前即时最小和最大值的形式和以抑制给电机的转矩要求的离合器反作用转矩即时最小和最大值的形式加在转矩请求上。这些最大反作用转矩值表示允许命令每个转矩提供装置提供的最大转矩:实际发动机转矩即时请求和实际即时转矩请求可以小于最大反作用转矩值,但是当最大值减少时,实际转矩请求值也会最终减少。来自发动机和电机的输入转矩(每个都达到限定的最大值)一起提供整个输入转矩的一部分,每个输入转矩部分都是由HCP控制的。由于标定的超前期,离合器反作用转矩超前即时最小和最大值以及离合器反作用转矩最小和最大值基本同时减少了施加给离合器的反作用转矩,导致如图5所示的实际离合器反作用转矩的减少。正如本领域普通技术人员将会理解的,另外需要利用其他安全措施来确保在整个卸载过程中最大转矩保持超过反作用转矩。有很多这样的方法,图5描绘了可以使用的一组示例性的术语。例如,标定偏移术语可用来确保在实际转矩低于某个阈值之前设定离合器容量的命令保持超过实际离合器反作用转矩。用于这种目的的示例性阈值在图5中定义为反作用转矩的标定阈值。在保持该转矩容量请求高于实际离合器反作用转矩中,记住包括离合器夹紧机构的所有装置包括对请求变化的反应时间,响应结合了这个偏移术语的离合器命令变化的转矩容量变化的延迟将使维持转矩容量超过实际的离合器反作用转矩。另外,另一个阈值,即转矩估计的标定阈值,可用于限定转矩阶段的结束。例如,如果由建模离合器操作的算法确定的离合器转矩容量的估计值在整个标定的时间段内保持低于该阈值,那么可以确定离合器处于解锁状态。
图6是根据本公开内容与经历示例性变换锁定状态的离合器有关的转矩术语的图形表示。如上所述,在许多的变速箱换挡过程中,一第二离合器被同步并且被锁定,转矩被施加给该离合器。图示在图形最左端的线描述了解锁状态下的离合器操作。锁定状态的开始需要将离合器从解锁状态转换到锁定状态所需的一系列帮助命令。如上述有关变速箱换挡中转换到第二转矩阶段的描述,包括连接到待接合的转矩提供轴的轴和连接到输出元件的轴的离合器必须是同步的。一旦附接于这些轴的离合器连接面已经减小并以相同转动速度移动,夹紧力开始被施加给离合器,以将离合器带入锁定状态并且开始增加离合器的转矩容量。如上面关于在转矩阶段期间避免打滑的描述,在离合器的反作用转矩增加之前必须增加离合器容量。为了能够尽快地施加导致离合器上的反作用转矩的输入转矩,要预先命令增加离合器容量以在离合器到达锁定状态的同时实现离合器容量的初始增加。通过凭借本文所公开的方法使用超前期计算反应时间,然后就可以以短延迟及时地命令反作用转矩跟随增加的离合器转矩容量。这种方法的一个示例性实施例(起的作用与图5所描述的强加给转矩请求的限制相反),根据避免打滑选择的标定斜率将限制强加在发给发动机和电机的转矩请求上。如图6中所描述的,在从作用为发动机转矩请求的约束的增加的离合器反作用转矩超前即时最小和最大值开始的标定超前期之后,作用为电机转矩请求的约束的离合器反作用转矩即时最小和最大值增加。通过利用该超前期,根据在此公开的方法,来自发动机和电机的输入转矩的增加基本同时的增加了施加给该离合器的反作用转矩。当根据施加给每个限制的标定斜率升高转矩产生装置上的限制时标定,HCP可以命令发动机和电机实现离合器所需的一部分反作用转矩,每个都达到各自的最大值。通过这种方式,发动机和电机的转矩请求受到协调以补偿反应时间,这是为了基本同时地增加换挡过程中来自每一个的输入转矩。

如上所述,在变速箱换挡过程中(例如,在如上所述的示例性变速箱中限定的两个固定档位状态之间)变速箱经过位于第一转矩阶段和第二转矩阶段之间的惯性速度阶段。在该惯性速度阶段期间,原先施用的、待分离的离合器和待接合被施用的离合器都处于解锁状态,输入最初以一转动速度旋转,就在第一离合器失去同步之前在第一离合器中的离合器元件之间共享该转动速度。为了在第二转矩阶段中要施用并加载的第二离合器中实现同步,将要连接到第二离合器的输入必须改变NI以匹配通过处于某种新传动比的变速箱附接的传动系。在混合动力系变速箱的换档过程,换挡可以发生在整个运行范围状态中,在这种运行范围状态中施用了至少一个离合器而另一个离合器即将被转换到锁定状态但保持不同步。处于可变、非固定状态的变速箱的操作,例如如上所述的示例性EVT模式I和EVT模式II,允许输入和输出速度的可变比。因此,利用EVT模式之一作为贯穿惯性速度阶段的过渡状态,NI可以从初始速度转换为目标速度同时保持To的传递。

贯穿惯性速度阶段限定NI_DOT的分布受到许多变量的限制。如上所述,在换挡开始时监控或描述最初的NI值和NI_DOT值。根据期望的运行范围状态NO和动力系操作的测量(例如踏板位置)可以描述目标输入速度值和NI_DOT值。对初始值和目标值之间转换的约束包括响应发动机命令的发动机物理特性和完成换挡所期望的时间。仅仅由于发动机操作造成的NI的变化可以从急剧增加NI的全开节气门跨到完全切断急剧减少NI的发动机输出根据期望的换挡特性,可以在这些限度发动机命令之间调整发动机命令用于导致NI的变化。传统地,发动机输出的变化可以通过改变节气门设置而实现。然而,本领域技术人员应该知道,这样的节气门变化需要大量的如上所述的超前时间,该超前时间与发动机接收发动机命令变化时出现的机械变化有关。替换地,在发动机输出需要某一适度量的调整用于过渡期的情况下,一种已知的方法是延迟点火定时或者提前燃料喷射定时以减少燃烧循环中的发动机输出。虽然该方法实现了比节气门命令变化更快的发动机输出变化并且允许发动机的上述输出很快的恢复,但是这样的变化由于传递较少的燃烧能量在活塞上工作而降低了燃烧效率。然而,在例如需要NI适度变化的换挡的过渡时期内,通过点火或喷射变化实现的发动机输出变化是优选的。另外,电机通过如上所述的混合动力系方法可被用于增加发动机输出或者帮助降低发动机转速。
对初始值和目标值之间的变化约束还包括实现换挡所期望的时间。总期望速度阶段时间可以根据动力系操作的前后关系来确定,例如如加速踏板位置所描述的。例如,完全踩下加速踏板(100%踏板)的换挡暗示操作者要求尽快实现换挡和任何有关的TO减少。0%踏板的惯性向下降档的换挡暗示换挡时间可以相对长些而不会不利地影响操控性。另外,初始的输入速度增量可被用来描述实现期望的换挡所需的NI变化的程度。初始的输入速度增量描述了在惯性速度阶段开始的瞬间的输入速度与假设动力系已经处于期望的运行范围状态的瞬间所需的输入速度之间的差异。示例性初始输入速度增量图示于图7中。较大的初始输入速度增量暗示在惯性速度阶段需要发生较大的NI变化,这要求更急剧的发动机输出变化或者更大的期望的总速度阶段时间。
根据加速踏板位置和初始输入速度增量来设置期望的总速度阶段时间的示例性方法包括使用标定的二维检查表。图8以表格形式图示了根据本公开内容确定惯性速度阶段时间的示例性二维检查表的使用。如上所述,加速踏板位置和初始NI增量允许预测NI所需的变化,随后允许估计惯性速度阶段时间。根据给定的输入,可以估计预计的惯性速度阶段时间。检查表中初始NI增量的值可以跨越正负值,允许与调高档和调低档对应的不同标定。

上述方法描述了作为正值比较的转矩管理过程。本领域普通技术人员应该理解的是,离合器转矩被称为正负转矩,表示沿一个或另一个转动方向施加转矩。上述方法既可被用中正转矩应用中,也可被用于负转矩应用中,以这种方式调整转矩值使得施加的反作用转矩值不超过特定离合器的转矩容量值。

如上所述,设计为同步操作的离合器往往在控制模式下工作,通过该模式离合器转矩容量总是保持超过通过离合器传递的反作用转矩以避免打滑。在如上所述的示例性换档中,这种模式往往在分离情况下卸载和加载离合器,通过保持零滑脱,在去除离合器转矩容量之前要去除待分离的离合器的所有反作用转矩。
通过附接于输入元件的任一转矩生成装置施加转矩可以卸载将要离去的离合器上的转矩。电机往往能快速有效地改变TA和TB。在某些情况下,电机可以施加负转矩并作用为发电机,向储能装置提供能量用于以后使用。然而,通过电机施加的转矩可受到大量因素的限制,包括电机容量、储能装置限度及其他用来保护动力系的限制配置。另一方面,发动机较慢地改变施加给输入元件的转矩。可根据较快的控制方法来减少TI,例如改变点火或喷射定时变化以暂时减少燃烧效率,或者根据较慢的方法改变TI,例如节气门变化。较快的发动机控制方法通过进行反应较快的变化来减少对操控性的影响并且相对快速地从TI变化恢复到原始级别,但是会降低总的燃料效率。较慢的发动机控制方法明显地反应较慢,在发动机燃烧循环中要求大量变化来改变发动机的导致的T1。另外,在节气门变化之后恢复TI的变化对初始改变同样是反应迟钝的,要求根据新的设置改变节气门。发动机转矩的变化(通过较快的发动机控制方法或者较慢的发动机控制方法)会造成动力系输出的变化和对操控性的影响。利用发动机卸载待分离的离合器的影响可以通过下列公式表示。ΔTO=ΔT1*GRINITIAL [8]由于电机和发动机的这些特性,优选由电机通过TA和TB的变化执行待分离的离合器的卸载,在电机不能提供足够的转矩卸载离合器的情况下,换档可由T1的变化来帮助。
如上所述,虽然最理想地是用在维持基本零打滑的同步操作中的特定的离合器设计也可以用来提供具有某种程度打滑的受控操作。公开的一种方法是在转矩阶段通过待接合的离合器协助卸载来自待分离的离合器的反作用转矩执行受控的异步换档。如上所述,通过提高处于其他异步换档过程中的待接合的离合器上的接触状态和随后的夹紧力,可利用离合器转矩(‘TC’)来影响待分离的离合器的卸载。通过待接合的离合器的施用,来自输出元件以反作用转矩形式通过待接合的离合器的功率可被用来抵消待分离的离合器中的反作用转矩。正如本领域普通技术人员理解的那样,对来自输出元件的功率的这种使用将会影响输出元件的加速,因此将会影响操控性。然而,由TC产生造成的对操控性的影响往往没有由发动机命令的变化引起的对操控性的影响严重,另外由TC产生造成的对操控性的影响不含在换档之后命令发动机回到正常级别的负面影响。使用待接合的离合器来改变输入速度的影响可由下列公式表示。ΔTO=ΔTc*(GRINITIAL-GRDESTINATION) [9]因此,根据所公开的方法卸载来自待分离的离合器的转矩优选受到TA和TB的影响,其次根据需要另外受到Tc的影响。在TA、TB和TC全部使用的情况下,卸载根据需要另外可以受到TI的影响。
图11和12图形对比了根据本公开内容的示例性同步换档和用来通过换档提供Tc的异步离合器帮助换档。图11是示例性同步换档,正如这里所公开的示例性实施例那样。起先由最初接合的传动状态限定并由NO*GRINITIAL表示的输入速度通过惯性速度阶段转换成由NO*GRDESTINATION表示的并由目标传动状态所限定的线。如上图5所述,传递TCR-OFFGOING的待分离的离合器通过转矩阶段从某一正常传递的反作用转矩级别变为零值。另外,如上图6中所述,传递TCR_ONCOMING的待接合的离合器通过第二转矩阶段从零变化到某一正常变化的反作用转矩级别。在两个转矩阶段之间的期间中,出现惯性速度阶段,在该惯性速度阶段中输入速度从由初始传动状态设定的某一速度变化到由目标传动状态设定的速度。由于由一直接合的第三离合器通过变速箱维持的转矩,TO和NO很大程度上不受惯性速度阶段中变化的影响。根据这里所述的方法进行操作,以这种方式进行的同步换档提供的接合齿轮之间的变化,对操控性有最小影响。
图12是通过换档提供Tc的示例性异步换档,以便在转矩阶段中帮助卸载待分离的离合器。待分离的离合器通过如图11中的转矩阶段进行过渡,而待接合的离合器在NI被变为目标输入速度之前的某一阶段被施用。描述了初始输入速度增量,显示当前输放速度相对于输入速度的差,这个差可能是当前与目标传动同步所要求的。通过待接合的离合器传递的反作用离合器转矩用作Tc,提供根据这里所述的方法能够被用在转矩阶段中的转矩。Tc可随着转矩阶段的开始基本同步开始。另外如图所示的TC可根据期望的换档行为在转矩阶段开始之前开始。通过这种方式,可利用通过待接合的离合器传递的转矩帮助卸载经过转矩阶段的离合器。
在如图1所述的示例性系统的转矩阶段(通过维持EVT模式中通过速度阶段的锁定离合器来维持通过惯性速度阶段的TO)中,待分离的离合器中的转矩和TO有关。维持通过转矩阶段的NI_DOT,例如根据所需的NO_DOT和初始的固定传动比,同时维持所需TO或TO_REQ,要求操纵转矩阶段的其他术语。混合动力动力系中待分离的离合器转矩可由下列公式计算。 如上所述,使用电机卸载待分离的离合器是优选的操作。在给定的操作条件下,可能的TA和TB值的范围可根据包括电机转矩容量和储能装置电量的因素来确定。如由公式10所描述的,当允许TA和TB的最小和最大值时,可单独使用电机施加转矩以减少待分离的离合器负载,由此实现卸载离合器。然而,当TA和TB不能完全卸载待分离的离合器时,可采用TC来卸载离合器。在TA、TB和TC都不能完全实现卸载待分离的离合器的情况下,可另外使用TI来提供必要的转矩。
公开了一种优化卸载待分离的离合器的各种转矩的使用的控制策略。可用转矩的理解对使用转矩来卸载待分离的离合器来说是重要的。理解TC要求量化待接合的离合器的能量容量以提供换档过程中的转矩。实现这种离合器能量容量计算的一个方法是假定换档过程中要提供的TC将保持恒定,计算经过预计换档时间在离合器中产生的能量,并估计导致的离合器温度。然后根据估计的离合器温度和估计的换档时间确定离合器转矩限度(‘TC_LIMIT’),该TC_LIMIT被用来约束TC命令。另外,理解TA和TB的容量要求根据当前系统状态和约束计算电机可能产生的最大和最小反作用转矩。根据这些计算,可以确定TA、TB和Tc的容量并可以将它们与要卸载的转矩进行比较。
根据离合器打滑方向,可以仅在单个方向上施加TC。可根据离合器打滑速度进行是否允许TC帮助的判断。如果TC会导致待分离的离合器中反作用转矩的增加,那么不应该允许施加来自待接合的离合器的TC。
如上所述,TI或Tc可用来帮助卸载待分离的离合器。虽然TC的使用(如果可用的话)一般优于TI的使用,但是作为动力系操作的结果,TI可以独立于待分离的离合器的卸载进行变化。如果命令TI产生对卸载离合器有用的转矩,那么使用TC的命令就不必要了。如上所述,给发动机的命令信号被产生并作为超前信号被追踪。如果换档控制方法确定TC适合用于待接合的换档,出于限制部分动力系操作的目的产生了超前信号。在由系统所产生的用于其他目的发动机命令将和TC或一部分TC一样完成相同目标的情况下,可以利用发动机命令来调整或优先取消换档中TC的执行。
一旦确定所要求的TC,控制系统向离合器控制算法发送离合器转矩命令,该控制系统命令液压控制系统填充离合器并命令适当压力以产生转矩。估计的离合器和发动机转矩都通过CAN通讯从独立的控制器被送回到HCP并且与期望的反作用转矩斜率一起被用来计算电机转矩。
如上所述,决定必须由可用来卸载离合器的系统可用的转矩的容量组成。图13和14图解了根据本发明的电机转矩和离合器中导致的反作用转矩的比较。在只有电机转矩和输入转矩产生输出转矩的动力系中,TO可由下列公式表示。TO=M21*TA+M22*TB+E2*TI [11]常数M和E描述了给定离合器的每一个其他转矩的TO的关系,由变速箱运行范围状态决定,并通过现有技术中已知的方法是可以确定的。将TI和TO看作常数,描述离合器上的离合器反作用转矩(‘TCR’)的线条可在TA与TB的关系区域中描述。因此公式11可简化为下列公式:TCR=M11*TA+M12*TB+C [12]其中C是基于TI影响的常数。在示例性数据中(其中TCR=0可描述在由可取得的TA_MAX和TB_MAX所限定的范围内),可以给定要卸载或去除离合器的TCR的TA和TB值。图13描述了处于TA和TB的空间中的这种示例性数据,其中,对于给定的TI和TO值,TCR=0的点描述在由TA_MAX和TB_MAX值限定的区域内。在TCR=0不能描述在由可取得的TA_MAX和TB_MAX所限定的范围内的示例性数据中,不存在单独通过TA和TB去除离合器的TCR的可取得的TA和TB值。
可以理解的是,在混合动力系中,约束往往限制了不同转矩生成装置施加转矩。例如,电机中的电池电源限度或热限度会限制TA和TB的使用。图13通过阴影线图形描述了对可用电机转矩的限制。另外,这里所描述的确定可以完成卸载待分离的离合器的转矩的任一方法都必须符合如该一个中所描述的约束。其上的TI和TO是常数并带有约束的线的交点限定在TA和TB的空间中,其中运行范围是当前可用的。

可以利用图13和14中TA和TB与TCR的关系来确定是否需要TC来卸载离合器。图15根据本公开内容图形描述了确定TA和TB是否可以在没有任何帮助的情况下卸载离合器的示例性方法。给定如上所述的线条,其中TI和TO是常数,可以使用公式12来计算位于电池电源和机械限度所允许的工作转矩范围内的最小和最大TCR值。给定两点的计算,通过检查这两个值的符号可以确定TCR=0是否落在这两点之间以及是否由TA_MAX和TB_MAX值限定。如果一个值是正的而另一个是负的,那么TCR=0位于两点之间并由两个极值点所包围。如果两个值都是正的或负的,那么TCR=0没有被两个极值点所包围。这样,就有可能确定TA和TB是否能够卸载离合器,或者TC是否能够用来帮助这种换档。
图15描述了通过分析处于TA和TB容量边界处的TCR值(具体是TCR值的符号)可能实现的功能。然而,数值大小对于确定由TC从离合器上卸载的最小TCR可能是有用的。可以利用在TA=TA_MAX和TB=TB_MAX处TCR值的绝对值中较小的值来确定TCR的余量,在最小值时,该余量必须由TC提供以便卸载离合器。

图16根据本公开内容图示了可以卸载待分离的离合器的示例性程序。程序500从步骤502开始。在步骤504中,根据离合器能量限度和换档时间(具体是转矩阶段时间和速度阶段时间)确定TC_LIMIT。在步骤506中,确定TA和TB容量。在步骤508中,通过本文所描述的方法利用在步骤506中确定的TA和TB容量确定在没有帮助的情况下能否利用TA和TB完全卸载待分离的离合器。如果没有帮助就能卸载离合器,那么程序进入步骤520。如果没有帮助不能卸载离合器,那么程序进入步骤510。在步骤510中,确定完成帮助卸载待分离的离合器必需的所要求的TC。在步骤512中,检验TC并与NC进行比较。如果通过待接合的离合器产生的TC与NC处于相同的方向,那么该程序进入步骤514。如果通过待接合的离合器产生的TC与NC没有处于相同的方向,那么该程序进入步骤518。在步骤514中,根据在步骤510中确定的所要求的TC和步骤504中确定的TC_LIMINT约束确定利用待接合的离合器帮助卸载待分离的离合器的TC命令。在步骤516中,将在步骤514中产生的TC命令与帮助卸载离合器所要求的TC进行比较。如果TC命令足够帮助卸载离合器,那么程序进入步骤520。如果TC命令不足以帮助卸载离合器,那么程序进入步骤518。在步骤518中,不能由TA、TB和TC提供的、卸载离合器所要求的任何转矩都被命令在TI中。在步骤520中,根据这里所述的方法卸载离合器。
图17显示了用于控制和管理具有多个转矩生成装置的动力系统中的转矩和功率流的控制系统结构,该控制系统结构以可执行算法和校验保存在上述控制模块中,下面将参考图1和2中所示的混合动力系统对该控制系统结构进行描述。该控制系统结构可用于任何具有多个转矩生成装置的动力系统,例如包括具有单个电机的混合动力系统、具有多个电机的混合动力系统和非混合动力系统。
图17中的控制系统结构描述了通过控制模块的有关信号的流动。操作过程中,监控给加速踏板113和制动踏板112的操作者输入来确定操作者转矩请求(‘TO_REQ’)操作。监控发动机14和变速箱10的操作来确定输入速度(‘NI’)和输出速度(‘NO’)。战略优化控制方案(‘战略控制’)310根据输出速度和操作者转矩请求确定优选的输入速度(‘NI_DES’)和优选的发动机状态以及变速箱运行范围状态(‘混合范围状态DES’),并且根据混合动力系的其他工作参数进行优化,包括电池电源限度和发动机14、变速箱10和第一、第二电机56和72的响应限度。战略优化控制方案310优选由HCP 5在每100毫秒循环周期和每25毫秒循环周期期间执行。
战略优化控制方案310的输出用于换档执行和发动机启/停控制方案(‘换挡执行和发动机启/停’)320以命令改变变速箱操作(‘变速箱命令’),包括改变运行范围状态。这包括:如果优选的运行范围状态不同于目前的运行范围状态,则通过命令改变该离合器C1 70、C2 62、C3 73和C4 75中的一个或多个的施用以及其他变速箱命令,命令执行运行范围状态的变化。当前运行范围状态(‘实际混合范围状态’)和输入速度分布(‘NI_PROF’)可以得到确定。输入速度分布是待接合的输入速度的估计值并且优选包括作为下一循环周期的目标输入速度的标量参数值。在转换变速箱的运行范围状态期间,发动机操作命令和操作者转矩请求是以输入速度分布为基础。
在一个控制回路循环周期期间中,战术控制方案(‘战术控制与操作)330被重复执行以根据输出速度、输入速度、操作者转矩请求和变速箱的当前运行范围状态确定操作发动机的发动机命令(‘发动机命令’),包括从发动机14到变速箱10的优选输入转矩。该发动机命令还包括全气缸运行状态和气缸停用运行状态(其中一部分气缸被停用且无燃料供给)之一的发动机状态,并且该发动机命令还包括供应燃料状态和燃料供应中止状态之一的发动机状态。

Claims (15)
1.一种用于控制动力系的方法,该动力系包括机械地-操作地联接到内燃发动机的电-机械变速箱和适用于选择性地将机械功率传递给输出元件的电机,所述方法包括:
命令从第一运行范围状态到第二运行范围状态的换挡;
识别待分离的离合器;
控制来自所述电机的转矩输出,以卸载通过所述待分离的离合器传递的反作用转矩;
选择性地施用待接合的离合器,以卸载通过所述待分离的离合器传递的反作用转矩;和
在通过所述待分离的离合器传递的反作用转矩基本为零时,减少所述待分离的离合器的离合器转矩容量。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,进一步包括控制来自第二电机的转矩输出,以卸载通过所述待分离的离合器传递的反作用转矩。
