Abstract

Description

具有嵌件模制的RFID标签的模制的塑料容器和预成型件
本公开涉及制造具有嵌件模制(insert mold)在容器的壁中的射频识别(RFID)标签的模制塑料容器,并且涉及制造用于吹塑模制成塑料容器并且具有嵌件模制到预成型件的壁中的RFID标签的预成型件。
背景技术
建议将RFID标签放置在容器的壁上或壁中,以确认包括该容器的包装的真实性和/或提供关于容器内的产品的信息。这种RFID标签可在制作容器之后紧固到容器的壁上、在容器的吹塑模制期间嵌入容器的壁中、或者以标签将在预成型件的吹塑模制之后嵌入到容器的壁中的方式组装到容器预成型件上。例如,WO 93/2431公开了一种把护送储存装置模制到容器侧壁内的方法,该方法通过将储存装置保持在模腔中并且环绕储存装置注塑模制容器壁来实现。US2005/0068182A1公开了一种把RFID电路模制到容器上的方法,该方法通过将电路保持在吹塑模腔的壁上并且相对腔壁吹塑容器,使得RFID电路存在于容器的外表面上。本公开的大体目的是提供一种将RFID标签嵌件模制到容器或容器预成型件的壁中的方法,以及提供一种具有嵌件模制在其中的RFID标签的吹塑模制的塑料容器或者模制的塑料预成型件。
本公开包含可彼此单独地实现或者组合地实现的多个方面。
根据本公开的一个方面,一种制造在容器的壁中具有RFID标签的塑料容器的方法包括:提供具有模芯的模具;以及将嵌件安装在模芯上。嵌件包括可由塑料壳体所包围的RFID标签。塑料预成型件优选地通过注塑模制而围绕模芯和嵌件形成于模具中,使得嵌件嵌入在预成型件的壁中。然后,将预成型件吹塑模制为具有嵌入在容器的壁中的嵌件的塑料容器。嵌件优选地安装在模芯的一端上,使得在吹塑模制之后该嵌件处于容器的底壁中。在模制的预成型件中以及在吹塑模制的容器中,RFID标签优选地由塑性材料从外部覆盖,以便在预成型件或容器中RFID标签不会暴露在外。本公开还预期根据本公开的方法制造的容器预成型件和吹塑模制的塑料容器。
发明内容
根据本发明的第一方面,提供一种制作塑料容器的方法,其中在容器的壁中具有RFID标签,该方法包括如下步骤:(a)提供包括模芯的模具;(b)将嵌件安装在所述模芯上,所述嵌件包括RFID标签;(c)在所述模具中围绕所述模芯和所述嵌件形成塑料预成型件,使得所述嵌件嵌入到所述预成型件的壁中;以及(d)将所述预成型件吹塑模制成具有嵌入在所述容器的壁中的所述嵌件的塑料容器;其特征在于,所述步骤(b)包括将所述嵌件安装在所述模芯的一端上,使得在所述步骤(d)之后所述嵌件处于所述容器的底壁中。
根据本发明的第二方面,提供一种根据上述方法制成的吹塑模制的塑料容器。
根据本发明的第三方面,提供一种用于吹塑模制塑料容器的容器预成型件,其包括具有封闭端的管状塑料主体和模制到所述封闭端中的RFID标签嵌件。
根据本发明的第四方面,提供一种制作塑料容器预成型件的方法,其中在预成型件的壁中具有RFID标签,该方法包括以下步骤:(a)提供包括模芯的模具;(b)将嵌件安装在所述模芯上,所述嵌件包括RFID标签;以及(c)在所述模具中围绕所述模芯和所述嵌件形成塑料预成型件,使得所述嵌件嵌入在所述预成型件的壁中;其特征在于,所述步骤(b)包括将所述嵌件安装在所述模芯的一端,使得在所述预成型件的吹塑模制之后所述嵌件处于容器的底壁中。

具体实施方式
图1示出根据本公开的示范性实施例的吹塑模制的塑料容器20。容器20包括将底壁24连接到颈部容器口(finish)26的侧壁22。侧壁22可具有任何合适的几何形状,例如圆柱形。RFID嵌件28嵌件模制到容器20的壁中,优选地嵌件模制到底壁24中。RFID嵌件28更详细地示于图2-4中,并且包括联接到射频天线32的RFID标签30。标签30和天线32的组合例如通过嵌件模制到壳体中而嵌入在塑料壳体34中。塑料壳体34的构造优选为盘状的,并且具有圆形周边36,一个向外隆起的端面38和带有中心钮状件42的第二端面40。在该实施例中,钮状件42在轮廓上优选为大致部分球形。圆形周边36优选为与容器预成型件的封闭端的大致圆形的几何形状相一致。然而,可以使用其它的周边几何形状。标签30和天线32可具有任何合适的构造。壳体34可由任何合适的塑性材料构成,例如聚乙烯塑料或聚丙烯塑料。
图5-6示出用于制作用以在注模吹塑模制操作或再热吹塑模制操作中吹塑模制成容器20的预成型件的模具装置44。装置44包括模芯46,其可移除地容纳在凹模48内以形成环绕模芯的模腔50。模具段48中的入口52将模腔50连接到一个或多个外部塑性树脂源54。该实施例中的模芯46包括联接到延伸通过芯体60的杆58上的模芯头部56。螺旋弹簧62环绕杆58的远离头部56的一端。如图5所示,弹簧62与容纳在杆58上的螺母64相协作,用于相对主体60将头部56偏置到关闭位置。在吹塑模制期间,螺母64可由凸轮66接合,以分裂(crack)在头部56和主体60之间的邻接。头部56的自由端具有凹部68,凹部68的轮廓构造为用于容纳在嵌件28的塑料壳体34上的钮状件42,以将嵌件在模芯头部56的一端上置于中心。在操作期间,模芯46保持在升高的温度,以便将嵌件28置于模芯的一端上(嵌件28通过钮状件42和凹部68的协作而置于中心)而在表面40处部分熔化嵌件的壳体并将嵌件保持在模芯头部的表面上。
由于嵌件28如此地置于模芯头部56的一端上以及模具装置如图5所示地关闭,故一种或多种塑性树脂材料可通过入口52而注入模腔50内以模制预成型件。图7示意性地示出所得到的预成型件70,其大体包括具有封闭端74的管状主体72,RFID嵌件28嵌件模制到封闭端74中。模腔52的尺寸和几何形状优选为使得嵌件28在封闭端74处由预成型件塑性材料从外部覆盖,如图7所示。这样,当从预成型件70(图7)吹塑模制容器20(图1)时,嵌件28将由塑性材料从外部覆盖,如图1所示。预成型件70和容器20的塑料可为任何合适的类型,例如聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)。图1示出具有单层构造的容器20,图7相应地示出具有单层构造的预成型件70。然而,这些仅仅是为了示意性的,容器预成型件和容器主体可以采用任何合适的同步或顺序注塑模制技术由多层构造制成。还预期的是,根据本公开的最宽广的方面,尽管注塑模制是优选的,但是预成型件可以由压缩模制而制成。
图8和图9示出图5和图6中的模具装置44的改进。在图8和图9的模具装置76中,模芯78容纳在凹模48内以形成模腔50。在该实施例中,RFID嵌件80具有带有轴向延伸的圆锥塞84的塑料壳体82。该圆锥塞84通过压配合而容纳在模芯头部88的端部处的圆锥开口86内,以将嵌件80保持在模芯78上。杆58延伸通过头部88和模芯主体90而由凸轮66接合,以克服螺旋弹簧62的力而移动杆58,从而在吹塑模制期间将嵌件80从模芯头部88分离。嵌件壳体82具有圆锥周边92,圆锥塞84为使得在壳体82和模芯头部88的端部之间存在微小间隙94。在预成型件模制期间,塑性预成型件材料将围绕圆锥周边92而流入间隙94中,以有助于在吹塑模制期间将嵌件80保持在预成型件的端部内。
因此已经公开了:一种模制在容器的壁中具有RFID标签的塑料容器的方法,一种模制在预成型件的壁中具有RFID标签的容器预成型件的方法,一种具有嵌件模制并嵌入在容器的壁中的RFID标签的吹塑模制的塑料容器和一种用于吹塑模制成具有嵌件模制在预成型件中的RFID标签的塑料容器的容器预成型件,这完全满足了上文所阐述的所有目的和目标。结合若干示范性实施例对本公开进行了介绍,并且讨论了多种改进和变型。由于前述的讨论,本领域普通技术人员将很容易联想到其它改进和变型。例如,尽管结合注塑模制的预成型件容器和注塑吹塑模制的容器对本公开进行了介绍,但是本公开的主题可以容易地以再热吹塑模制操作来实施,在再热吹塑模制操作中预成型件通过注塑模制或者甚至压缩模制而制成。尽管预成型件的端壁是优选的,但是RFID嵌件也可以嵌件模制到预成型件的侧壁中。本公开意图包括所有这些落入权利要求的精神和宽广范围内的改进和变型。

Claims (15)

1.一种制作塑料容器(20)的方法,其中在容器的壁中具有RFID标签(30),该方法包括如下步骤:
(a)提供包括模芯(46,88)的模具(48),
(b)将嵌件(28,80)安装在所述模芯上,所述嵌件包括RFID标签(30),
(c)在所述模具中围绕所述模芯和所述嵌件形成塑料预成型件(70),使得所述嵌件嵌入到所述预成型件的壁中,以及
(d)将所述预成型件吹塑模制成具有嵌入在所述容器的壁中的所述嵌件的塑料容器(20),其特征在于,
所述步骤(b)包括将所述嵌件(28,80)安装在所述模芯(46,88)的一端上,使得在所述步骤(d)之后所述嵌件处于所述容器的底壁(24)中。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述步骤(c)包括在所述模具中围绕所述模芯和所述嵌件来注塑模制所述塑料预成型件(70)。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述步骤(a)包括在所述模芯(46,88)上设置顶出杆(58),并且所述步骤(d)包括促动所述顶出杆以便于在吹塑模制期间使所述嵌件(28,80)从所述模芯分离。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述嵌件包括联接到塑料壳体(34,82)内的射频天线(32)上的RFID标签(30)。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于,所述模芯的温度使得在所述步骤(b)之后所述嵌件保持在所述模芯上。
6.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述模芯在所述模芯的一端处具有圆锥开口(86),并且所述嵌件具有在所述步骤(b)期间插入到所述开口中的圆锥塞(84)。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,所述模芯具有顶出杆(58),并且所述步骤(d)包括促动所述顶出杆以便于在所述步骤(d)期间使所述嵌件从所述模芯分离。

11.根据权利要求10所述的预成型件,其特征在于,所述嵌件包括联接到塑料壳体(34,82)内的射频天线(32)上的RFID标签(30)。
12.一种制作塑料容器预成型件(70)的方法,其中在预成型件的壁中具有RFID标签(30),该方法包括以下步骤:
