背景技术
在传统压裂井、产生岩层、新油井或者已经取得产量的低产量油井中,岩层可被断裂来试图达到更高的产出速率。支撑剂和压裂流体在搅拌器中混合,然后泵入充满石油或者汽油承载岩层的油井中。高压力应用到这个井中,岩层断裂和压裂流体携带的支撑剂流入岩层中。岩层中的支撑剂保持岩层在压力释放之后仍然张开,产量就恢复了。已经公开了各种流体用于压裂流体,包括各种碳氢化合物、氮和二氧化碳的混合物。
必须小心选择压裂流体。压裂流体必须具有足够的粘性来将支撑剂带入岩层,应当最小化岩层破坏和必须安全使用。保留在岩层中的压裂流体在压裂之后是不期望的,因为它可以阻塞气孔并降低油井产量。为此,已经使用二氧化碳作为压裂流体,因为当压裂压力减小之后,二氧化碳气化并易于从油井中除去。
更低级烷烃例如丙烷也被建议作为压裂流体。因此,美国专利no.3,368,627描述了一种使用液化C2-C6碳氢化合物和二氧化碳混合的化合物作为压裂流体的压裂方法。作为更低级烷烃,丙烷和丁烷本质上不会破坏岩层。然而,这个专利没有描述如何完成丙烷或丁烷的安全注入,或者如何将支撑剂注入丙烷或丁烷压裂流体。美国专利no.5,899,272还描述了将丙烷作为压裂流体,但该专利中所述的注入系统没有商业化。因此,虽然丙烷和丁烷由于它们的粘性、低重量和易于恢复是适合于压裂的流体,但是那些不怎么样的特性使丙烷和丁烷很危险。
发明概要

参考图1,先是一种装置用于压裂油井穿过的岩层。压裂压力泵10是装配在一个或者多个拖车上的一个或者多个泵,通过管道12连接到油井14。管道12如图1中所示的所有其它管道一样,是具有压力定额和抗腐蚀能力的适合于应用到管道的压力的传统管道或者软管。压裂压力泵10应用的压力是适合于压裂岩层的压力。示例性压裂压力泵是具有水冷却涡轮的柴油机QuinflexTM泵,或者电能驱动Triplex(tm)活塞泵,但是可以使用任何合适的泵。多于一个泵设备可以用作泵10。

如图2所示,连接到控制器32来控制压裂流体控制阀V1、支撑剂控制阀V2、惰性气体控制阀V3、和爪裂压力泵10的操作,为了向油井提供支撑剂和爪裂流体流。控制器32还连接到阀V4、V5、V6、V7、V8、V9和其他需要的阀来控制他们的操作。阀V1-V9因此可以远程操作,这样在紧急情况时可以控制他们而不用让操作人员暴露于危险之中。控制器32是任何合适的计算机或者处理器,配备有传统显示器和操作者输入控制台。指示控制器32和被控制部分之问连接的线路表示传统控制线路。整个系统通过控制器32远程控制。控制器32实现除本专利说明书中所述内容之外传统的压裂处理算法。控制器32还通过控制线路连接到泵(未显示),该泵在某些实施例中与胶凝流体源30、支撑剂供应源22和惰性气体源28关联。
在操作图1和2中所示的装置期间,控制器32用于实现以下步骤。通过例如合适的入口将支撑剂加入支撑剂供应源22,该入口然后关闭。支撑剂可以是任何天然的或者人工支撑剂。漏斗(图1中未显示,但图9和10中举例显示)或者其它合适的设备可以用于将支撑剂加入支撑剂供应源22。使用阀V8关闭油井14。通过打开阀V3,惰性气体从惰性气体源28注入支撑剂供应源22来形成气层。惰性气体还从惰性气体源28注入会与LPG混合物关联的所有系统部件,包括线路12、18、24、29、31和34、阀V1-V8、压裂爪力泵10、和系统部件来清除任何气体和压力测试泄漏。泄漏可以通过视觉、嗅觉、声音或者电子设备例如嗅探器和激光器检测到。只有当系统已经经行了压力测试,压裂流体才可以注入系统部件。
压裂流体源16典型地预先加压到50磅/平方英尺到100磅/平方英尺的压力,但是压裂流体源16还可以在站点从分离的丙烷和/或丁烷源装料。一旦系统经过安全压力测试,包括LPG混合物压力测试,源控制阀V8就打开了。爆炸系统可以用燃烧器测试。压裂流体控制阀V1在控制器32的控制下打开,向压裂压力泵10提供压裂流体,并且压裂压力泵10开启来用LPG混合物填充油井。通过打开阀V6胶凝剂从胶凝源30通过线路31加入到管道18中的压裂流体中,同时油井正在被压裂流体填充。然后使用压裂压力泵10,油井14的压力逐渐上升,并建立注入速率来逐渐增加油井14中的压裂流体的压力,并继续用压裂流体填充油井。因此液化状态爪裂前置液应用到油井14来开始压裂。压裂前置液实现有技术中已知的,根据操作者确定的油井的压裂过程可以消耗不同量的爪裂流体。压裂爪力逐渐增加来破坏岩层,允许压裂传播到岩层中。
在前置液注入到油井14中之后,将支撑剂加入压裂流体流。在一个实施例中,控制阀V4在控制器32的控制下打开,将液化压裂流体提供给支撑剂供应源22。液化压裂流体与支撑剂在支撑剂供应源22中混合。支撑剂控制阀V2然后打开以允许支撑剂进入管道18中的压裂流体流,通过重力或者机械方法例如通过使用螺旋钻。可能需要来自于惰性气体源28的压力来迫使LPG混合物和支撑剂进入管道18。在线路23上也可能需要泵(未显示)来保证将压裂流体提供给支撑剂供应源22来对抗来自于惰性气体源28的压力。在另一个实施例中,控制阀V4没有打开,但通过重力和在压力导管22的出口使用螺旋钻将支撑剂直接从爪力导管22提供给线路18。在此实施例中,来自于源28的惰性气体的超量可以应用到压力导管22来阻止压裂流体回流到压力导管22。其它限制压力的方法可以用来将支撑剂注入LPG混合压裂;例如如下面关于图4和5所述的。压裂压力泵10然后将包括胶凝爪裂流体流的支撑剂泵入油井14。加入的支撑剂的量由压裂操作员决定。
在压裂过程中的适当的点,当压裂操作员判断已经向油井中加入了足够的支撑剂时,油井顶部关闭,惰性气体例如氮气再次用于净化所有部件,包括与LPG混合物接触的所有的线路、阀、泵和罐,而不是丙烷/丁烷罐,为了从系统部件中清除所有的丙烷和丁烷。
在操作员确定的适合于油井压裂的一段时间之后,压力从油井释放。差不多在相同时间(典型地2-4小时)就是凝胶体破裂的时刻。油井中的液化压裂流体然后由于失去压力和储层的热吸收而蒸发。油井中的气态丙烷和/或丁烷与岩层气体混合,并容易由于岩层的热和压力而转移到表面,留下压裂压力产生的断层中的支撑剂。从油井中释放的丙烷和/或丁烷气体可以提炼或者提供给气体排出线路34,在此他们可以通过火把烟囱38而燃烧,或者提炼或者流入气体管线用于销售给其他人。传统地,在图1、3或者8的任一个实施例中,在线路12上提供密度仪来向压裂操作者提供支撑剂和压裂流体进入油井的量的反馈。
因为压裂流体是从压裂流体源16中提取的,可控制量的惰性气体可以加入压裂流体源16来使用阀V5替换压裂流体,维持压裂流体源16中的压力和帮助减少爆炸的危险。
气体爪裂还可以在煤层或者页岩层上完成来提高煤气或者页岩气的产量。在煤气压裂或者页岩气压裂中,生产层上的静液压头必须减少到最少。为此已经使用级数为70,000m3每爪裂高容量的氮气,以及由此产生的高流速。在气体压裂到煤层或者页岩层的应用中,LPG混合物与氮气混合。
如图3所示,在应用于煤层或者页岩层的LPG混合压裂实施例中,惰性气体源28通过管道42连接到线路12,在阀V9的控制下将氮气提供给油井。使用了如图1的压裂使用的装置所使用的同样的安全过程和设备,如上所述。但是,引入压裂流体流的支撑剂可以使用各种设备,例如图4、5和6中所示的。通常,对于具有氮气的煤层或者页岩层压裂,使用传统过程实现压裂,外加使用LPG混合流体来将支撑剂带入煤层或者页岩层。
在煤层或者页岩层的LPG混合压裂的某些实施例中,当已经通过高流速高压氮气对煤层施加压力时,(为了产生岩层的断层使用来自于源28提供给油井14的氮气)阀V1打开,泵10激活,将LPG压裂流体泵入进入油井14的氮气流。管道18中的LPG混合物与来自于胶凝剂源30的胶凝剂胶凝。当期望数量的胶凝LPG压裂流体泵入油井14中时,在一个实施例中阀V4打开以允许压裂流体流入支撑剂供应源22。在一个实施例中,惰性气体也从惰性气体源28提供给支撑剂供应源22。一旦打开阀V2,支撑剂流入管道18并与压裂流体混合。在线路23上可能需要泵(未显示)来保证提供压裂流体流入支撑剂供应源22,通过对抗来自于惰性气体源28的压力。泵10然后将包含支撑剂的胶凝LPG压裂流体泵入进入油井14的氮气流。合成的胶凝氮气-LPG混合物可以将支撑剂从支撑剂源22带入油井和储层。一旦足够的支撑剂运输到油井14中,就终止其它的支撑剂。在支撑剂流终止之后LPG压裂流体可以继续加入。氮气和来自于压裂流体源16的压裂流体的比例是根据期望在断层中放置支撑剂的期望的量来控制的。在可控制的时间,大约当胶凝破裂时,泵10和惰性气体源28提供的压力减少到允许回流。油井14中的已经将支撑剂带入压裂流体和氮气产生的断层的LPG混合物然后气化,可以从油井14中随着氮气和断层气体排出。留在断层中的支撑剂提高了煤层或者页岩层的渗透性,但使用LPG和氮气提供了允许断层继续生产气体的低静压气体压力。
现在给出示例,30公吨支撑剂丙烷-丁烷下入管道断层处理油井,该油井钻孔达2500米深、具有129.7mm23.06kg/m的外壳、88.9mm,12.84kg/m的管道和89度的BHT。处理目标是在通过执行31公吨胶凝丙烷丁烷处理在钻孔层激发气体断层。压裂的设计规格为:

图4显示了支撑剂泵系统,可以用于LPG混合压裂的实施例中作为支撑剂供应源22。通过线路46将离心泵44连接到LPG混合提供16。离心泵44的输出通过线路48提供给离心泵50。离心泵50通过线路52连接到高压泵10。泵44的运行在其入口45提供吸力,将LPG混合物吸入泵44。泵50运行于比泵44更高的转数,将线路48中的LPG混合物泵入线路52。线路52与通向高压泵10的管道连通,例如图1中的管道18。泵50还在其中心入口51建立吸力,将支撑剂从图5中所示的支撑剂引入系统吸入。离心泵50作为压力导管,其中由泵在入口51产生的低压动态地密封泵50,阻止释放LPG混合物回流出泵50的入口。为了净化图4中所示的支撑剂泵系统,线路47可以连接到惰性气体源28。在线路52上的阀,等于图1中的阀V2,控制LPG混合物的流动。
图5中的细节是用于图4的泵50的支撑剂供应系统,因此可以作为支撑剂供应源22。使用螺旋钻58将支撑剂引导到圆锥形储料器72。氮气或者CO2可以通过喷嘴80提供给系统,为了维持操作压力或者惰性气层。圆锥形储料器72向入口82提供支撑剂,在此经过控制阀84和检验阀86。戊烷可以通过喷嘴87提供,因为如果线路潮湿就可以提高支撑剂引入效率,在此实施例中,支撑剂通过入口51进入泵50。泵50如图4中所示运行,将压裂流体从线路48通过离心力引入泵50,在此与支撑剂混合。泵50由马达53提供动力,马达53转动叶轮。在图5中,压裂流体通过线路48提供给泵50,压裂流体来自于LPG混合提供16,如关于图4所述的。如图4所述,支撑剂和压裂流体的混合物然后被送出泵50进入线路52。离心泵50的外环已知是螺旋形的。旋转叶轮55产生离心力,该离心力产生围绕叶轮55的周边的动态密封。这维持泵50的容积中的压力。叶轮55的速度和入口流动压力必须控制平衡来阻止通过叶轮55的回流。
参考图5,在系统的常规操作压力下,检验阀86保持打开并允许支撑剂平缓流入泵50。在泵50故障或者关闭的情况下,入口51中压力的即刻增加会导致检验阀86和控制阀84关闭。压力增加会使LPG混合物打破动态密封和使LPG混合物通过支撑剂入口回流,形成可以导致危险情况的易燃气体混合物。通过插入阀84和86,可以防止这个危险情况。控制阀84是通过控制器32远程液压操作的。气体传感器88可以安装在控制阀84上,可以在气体回涌通过系统的情况下提醒控制器32关闭控制阀84。检验阀86和控制阀84可以响应于压力改变而自动操作,或者可以在控制器控制的计算机控制下操作。控制阀84作为检验阀86的备用阀。阀的任何其它组合或者使用可以结合进来以完成检验阀86和控制阀84的功能。在压裂之前或者之后,图4和5的支撑剂引入系统可以由引入氮气通过线路47到80而净化。图5的装置还可以用于传输爪裂流体例如高蒸汽压力碳氢化合物,例如C5、C6和C7碳氢化合物、液态CO2和乙醇到高压力压裂泵。从压裂流体源向离心泵50供应这种流体可以通过使用惰性气体作为驱动流体或者使用合适的泵来提供。这些其他流体也可以与LPG混合流体混合并存储在压裂流体源16中,或者在二氧化碳的情况下,存储在独立地二氧化碳罐中。
在另一个实施例中,LPG混合物在被引入油井之前被冷却来降低蒸汽压力。为了维持加压的丙烷、丁烷或者丙烷和丁烷的混合物的LPG混合物处于液体状态,需要50磅到250磅的压力。这是因为丙烷和丁烷在室温和大气压力下都是气体。通过将其引入压裂系统之前冷却LPG混合物,需要减少的压力,这减少了高压可能导致的爆炸或者破坏压裂系统的可能性。冷却可以阻止蒸汽阻塞活塞。为了易于将LPG混合物维持在冷却状态,LPG混合物可以存储在隔离罐88中,如图6中所示。隔离罐88具有金属外壳90,该外壳90由隔离层92包围。第二层94可以包围隔离层92,可以由金属、塑料或者任何其它合适的材料形成。隔离罐可以装配在拖车或者卡车的后面,或者作为拖车的一部分。可选地,隔离罐88可以是可移动的罐。组成压裂流体的所有成分,包括胶凝源30,可以存储在类似于隔离罐88的隔离罐中。第二层94可以是围绕罐88设置的弹性外壳,隔离层92可以被喷洒注入弹性外壳94的隔离泡沫。隔离罐88有多个优点。传输到罐88的LPG通常处于大约10-20度的低温,并维持低温,因为隔离罐88会在压裂过程中将LPG保持在几乎相同的温度。因此,即使在炎热的天气,LPG变热和使蒸汽阻塞活塞泵的问题可以避免。在冬天,由于LPG冷却引起的低压问题,例如需要加热也可以避免。
图7显示了LPG混合压裂系统的另一个实施例,其中压裂过程的每个部件都装配在一系列携带惰性气体源28、压裂流体源16、支撑剂源22、化学单元30和泵10和110的卡车上。可选地,每个部件可以存储为任何其它类型的便携式或者永久单元。线路96将惰性气体源28连接到支撑剂站98,线路96的支线111将惰性气体源28连接到压裂流体供应线108。支撑剂站98包括支撑剂供应源22和线路96,一起还有线路96的支线111,可以用来将惰性气体提供给支撑剂供应源22。支撑剂源22的惰性气体出口102和106连接到通向火把烟囱38的线路101。惰性气体可以通过线路96、111、108、133、128、131和112提供给泵10和110,并通过线路100和101返回火把烟囱38。
LPG混合源16可以通过线路108、入口134、线路133和中心线路128将LPG混合流体提供给支撑剂站98,形成压裂流体流。线路108可以如图所示形成为连接到三个入口134的三个线路组,因此提供压裂流体的不同流速。LPG混合流体包括如上面实施例所述的LPG混合物。惰性气体可以通过线路109提供给LPG混合物源16。惰性气体可以通过线路111在线路108中提供给压裂流体流。一旦将LPG混合流体供应给支撑剂站98,来自于支撑剂供应源22的支撑剂可以进入压裂流体流和与LPG混合物混合。
沿着管道127和129提供支撑剂,该管道包括从支撑剂供应源22的各个圆锥形底部接收支撑剂的螺旋钻。线路127和129的螺旋钻将支撑剂传输给中心压裂流体线128。胶凝剂可以从化学拖车30沿着线路114在管道127和129之前或者之后提供给一个或者多个线路108或者线路128。压裂流体流然后可以通过线路128、线路131、出口130和线路112流入高压泵10和高压泵110中的一个或者两个。可选地,只有LPG混合物可以通过相同线路和出口输送给泵10或110,没有添加支撑剂或者胶凝剂。需要时从支撑剂供应卡车116的支撑剂供应源22通过线路118提供支撑剂。典型地这在压裂过程的早期进行,然后卡车116就可以离开。
在此实施例中,压裂流体可以提供给泵10和110,如之前实施例中所述的。惰性气体也可以提供给系统的任何单独部件,还有作为一个整体在开始压裂之前和之后用来净化整个系统。惰性气体可以通过线路112提供给泵10和110中的一个或者两个。泵10和110通过线路112并行连接到爪裂流体流。泵10和110可以通过线路12将压裂流体输送给油井14。线路12中到油井14的流向由源控制阀V8控制。可选地,泵10和110可以通过线路34将压裂流体输送给火把烟囱38。线路34还连接到线路101,这样在压裂之后整个系统易于通过火把烟囱38清除爪裂流体。线路34在到达火把烟囱38之前还连接到沙子清除罐37。沙子清除罐37阻止支撑剂输送给火把烟囱38,并将其存储在自己的容积中。胶质化学物也可以覆盖清除罐37。在线路34中可以提供塞子来将压力维持在丙烷,并在回流期间保持为流体。线路34中的流动由一个或者多个释放阀V7控制。很多供应线路和连接的其他组合可以用于完成描述为将LPG混合压裂提供给油井14的方法和装置,都在此方法和装置权利要求的范围之内。使用相同的安全产品和设备,如使用上述实施例的装置用于压裂一样。还有,支撑剂引入压裂流体流可以使用各种设备,如图1、4和5中所示的。如上所述的压裂系统远程地由控制器32控制。控制器32可以包括位于以拖车上的计算机控制站。通常,使用压裂任何岩层的传统过程实现压裂,根据在此描述的技术进行修改。
图8和9各自显示了支撑剂站98的入口侧和出口侧的更详细的视图。在这些视图中,支撑剂站98作为半拖车卡车的平台卡车提供,虽然其它车辆或者设备可以用于完成相同的目的。在此实施例中,拖车120包括两个支撑剂供应源22,其具有至少一个连接到惰性气体源28的气体连接122。例如,一个支撑剂供应22的上面的气体连接122可以作为惰性气体的入口,连接到惰性气体源28,而下面的气体连接122可以作为惰性气体的出口,通过线路102或者106将惰性气体输送到线路101。每个支撑剂供应源22是正压力导管,用于存储支撑剂。检修孔盖子124和连接126位于每个支撑剂供应源22上,连接126用于补充支撑剂供应22。
参考图9,压裂流体提供给入口134,然后通过线路133提供给中心压裂流体线128。在支撑剂站98的另一侧,压裂流体线128通过线路131连接到出口130。胶凝剂从线路114开始可以在任何合适的地方提供给压裂流体线。螺旋钻线路127和129将支撑剂从圆锥形储料器22的底部传输到中心压裂流体线128。在图9和10中,压力仪136位于各自线路131和133上在支撑剂供应线127和129之前和之后监控压裂系统的压力。胶凝剂和爪裂流体的混合可以发生在支撑剂站98或者之前,或者支撑剂站98和泵10和110之间的某个地方。
图7-9的系统可以如关于图1-3所述一样使用。支撑剂源22装载支撑剂,例如沙子。惰性气体从惰性气体源28提供通过所有操作线路来净化不稳定组分的系统和用于压力测试。在一个实施例中,惰性气体提供给锥形导管22,这样锥形导管22中的压力就比LPG罐16中的压力大。惰性气体然后穿过泵10和110。然后,如压裂过程要求的提供压裂流体通过线路108、133、128、131和112,开始于压裂流体压力测试。如要求的提供胶凝剂通过线路114,当压裂过程需要时通过螺旋钻线路127和129提供支撑剂。从油井14返回的LPG混合物可以燃烧。在将压裂流体引入油井的结尾,当足够的支撑剂已经引入岩层时,惰性气体再次提供给所有操作线路和通过线路34输出到火把烟囱38来净化系统部件的液化石油气。惰性气体从系统部件流动。然后油井回流以允许生产或者燃烧气态LPG。在销售线路存在的地方,LPG混合物可以不燃烧而是提供给销售线路。紧急阀可以设置在线路112上来阻止线路112中的超大压力破坏压力导管22。
参考图10,公开的压裂方法产生人工断层138,该断层从穿过地球表面147下面的线142限定的地面岩层140的油井钻孔146扩散。断层138使岩层140是能穿过的并可渗透的。断层扩展通过地球岩层远离管道144,压裂流体通过管道144引入。应用到油井和岩层的碳氢化合物爪裂流体总重量的小于10%,或者小于5%或1%的残留物保留在地球岩层中。换句话说,几乎所有的压裂流体可以收回。LPG几乎具有水的一半静液压头,因此有助于回流。LPG还产生通过与储层气体混合来回流的单独阶段。这个过程因此可以象气体帮助回流一样减少CO2。因为蒸发的LPG基本上没有粘性,胶凝碳氢化合物不保留在油井中。
在油井铺满沙子的情况下,油井14关闭,火把烟囱打开,所有铺满沙子的部件随着氮气一起被喷出。
图1、3或8的装置可以没有其它支撑剂而运行,或者没有胶凝剂,但是代价是降低了爪裂处理的效率。
可以对在此描述的实施例进行非实质的修改而不脱离权利要求的范围。
Claims (8)
1.一种压裂流体源装置,该装置包括:
连接到油井的压裂压力泵;
压裂流体源,其被连接到该压裂压力泵以向其提供主要包括丙烷、丁烷或者丙烷和丁烷的混合物的压裂流体流;
惰性气体源,其被连接到该压裂流体源和该压裂压力泵以向其提供惰性气体;以及
控制器,其用于控制该压裂流体源、压裂压力泵和惰性气体源;
支撑剂供应源,用于将支撑剂提供到来自于该压裂流体源的该压裂流体流中,该支撑剂供应源由该控制器控制;
其中,该惰性气体源还用于向该支撑剂供应源提供惰性气体。
2.根据权利要求1所述的压裂流体源装置,其特征在于,进一步包括胶凝剂供应源,其用于将胶凝剂提供到来自于该压裂流体源的该压裂流体流中,该胶凝剂供应源由该控制器控制。
