Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及连接于车辆外部后视镜的视觉辅助组件。
背景技术
外部后视镜通常连接于车辆任意一侧的前门,并且为驾驶者提供后方视野。然而,在车辆旁存在(“盲点”)区域,特别是在前轮附近以及接近车门的那些仅借助于诸如安装在车门上的后视镜不能看到的区域。因此已经提出了将一种向下观察的摄像机合并于后视镜单元中,以便于通过车辆驾驶室内的可视显示器为驾驶者提供这些“盲点”区域中的景象的图像。
例如,欧洲专利文件EP-A-1362741描述了一种后视镜装置,其包括摄像机和镜头总成,该摄像机和镜头总成通过透明罩观察向下景象。该总成装于后视镜单元中并且是其组成部分。不足之处在于,该总成不能被合并于车辆任意一侧上使用的传统后视镜中。
发明内容
本发明包括装于车辆的外部后视镜内的视觉辅助组件,该组件包括盒式外壳、安装于外壳内的摄像机、以及外壳的一个面中的通孔,摄像机镜头通过该通孔伸出。
优选地,该镜头具有较宽视场,比如说前后170°,以及具有一定程度的转动自由度,这样它可在初始时手动校准以便为驾驶者提供最佳观察。优选地,视场沿向后方向偏置。
外壳在其外部表面上可包括与车门后视镜单元配合使用的按压式紧固件。
由于本发明包括自含式组件,因此仅需对传统车门后视镜单元本身作最小改造即可将本发明改装到现有传统车门后视镜单元中。它还可装于车辆任意一侧上的后视镜单元而无需改造,除非这种改造是为了镜头校准优化。
外壳可具有门以便于通向一个或多个内部电连接器,并且还可在其一侧面上设有孔,电缆可穿过该孔。优选地,在孔周边以及在门与外壳之间提供了防水密封。可方便地将按压式紧固件设在门上以及外壳的相应区域上以保持门处于关闭位置中。
通过使用塑料制造外壳,可使组件既防水又结实。
可选择地,组件可进一步包括光源以在组件安装后照明车门后视镜下方的地面。例如,该光源可包括一个或多个发光二极管(LED)。在一个实施例中,光源安装于外壳内且通过设在外壳中的开口照明。该开口可用透明面板覆盖。
外壳可包括不透明的内部隔墙,该内部隔墙设置为使得由光源发出的光线不能落在与摄像机关联的任何光敏元件上。
可选择地,外壳的在安装于车门后视镜单元时面向外侧的表面装有防护罩,该防护罩贴合周围单元的表面以提高组合的后视镜单元与组件总成的空气动力学性能。该防护罩具有开口,摄像机镜头可通过所述开口伸出,以及具有与光源对准的透明部件。该防护罩可方便地装有紧固件,以便将其夹在组件上。

具体实施方式
参照图1和图2,一种视觉辅助组件包括盒式外壳1,该盒式外壳由塑料制成并且在外表面上包含模制的按压式紧固件2,该按压式紧固件用于与车门后视镜单元配合使用。摄像机镜头总成5通过外壳1前部表面4中的通孔3伸出。
构成外壳1的后部表面7、侧面8以及底面9的一部分的铰链门6,提供了通向组件内部,特别是通向电连接器10的通道。
当门6关闭时,两个半圆形缺口(一个位于门6的底面边缘中,另一个位于外壳1的所述底面9中)配合以形成圆孔11,电缆可以穿过该孔。门6借助于安装于门6和外壳1上的互相配合的按压式紧固件12a、12b保持在关闭位置中。在门的周边设有防水密封13。
白LED的二维阵列14安装于外壳1内且覆盖有透明罩15。阵列14布置得邻近于镜头总成5。镜头总成5包括鱼眼镜头,该鱼眼镜头通过后向偏置沿前后方向具有170°的视场。
这里将参照图3进一步描述组件的内部。印刷电路板16固定于外壳1内且承载LED阵列14和用于接收来自摄像机镜头总成5的图像的摄像机成像装置17。隔墙18将LED阵列14与成像装置17分隔开,以使来自于阵列14的不必要散射光不会传到成像装置17。
这里将参照图2、图3和图4描述将组件安装至车门后视镜单元的操作。
首先,打开门6(如图2所示),并将电缆19插入且与连接器10连接。该电缆传送电力以便于为LED阵列14和成像装置17供电,还从成像装置17向驾驶者可见的可视显示单元(未显示)传送信号。门6随后关闭并且组件被按压紧固于车门后视镜21下侧中的凹处20中(如图3、图4所示)。最后,将空气动力学防护罩22安装于组件1的前部表面4上以将车辆运动时产生的风噪声最小化。防护罩22包括供镜头总成5伸出的开口以及与LED阵列14对准的透明部分23。
通过如此安装的组件,LED阵列14在被供电时用于照明车门周围的地面,由此有助于驾驶者和乘客得以进入车辆。摄像机镜头总成5以及成像装置17可持续监视车辆旁的车行道或人行道区域并在可视显示单元上将图像传递给驾驶者。因此,驾驶者可在出现仅通过后视镜无法观察到的危险地靠近车辆的任何障碍物或行人时得到警告。
在替换实施例中,成像装置17对红外辐射敏感并且LED 14为发射红外辐射型的,用于照明镜头总成5所监视的区域,提高在夜间运行中成像装置的性能。

Claims (11)

1.一种安装在车辆的外部后视镜中的视觉辅助组件,所述组件包括盒式外壳、安装于外壳内的摄像机、以及外壳一个面中的通孔,摄像机镜头通过该通孔伸出。
2.根据权利要求1所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,所述外壳在其外部表面上包括用于与车门后视镜单元配合使用的按压式紧固件。
3.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,所述外壳装有门。
4.根据权利要求3所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,所述门和外壳包括相配合的按压式紧固件以将门保持在关闭位置中。
5.根据权利要求3所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,在所述门与所述外壳之间提供防水密封。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,所述外壳设有孔,电缆能够穿过所述孔。
7.根据权利要求6所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,在所述孔的周围提供防水密封。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的视觉辅助组件,进一步包括光源和在外壳中的开口,从光源发出的光照可以通过所述开口导出。
9.根据权利要求8所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,所述开口装备有透明罩。
10.根据权利要求8或9中任一项所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,所述外壳包括用于将光源与摄像机隔开的内部隔墙。
11.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的视觉辅助组件,其特征在于,所述组件的表面装有防护罩。
