Abstract

本发明涉及一种光源组件及包括所述光源组件的背光模组。所述光源组件包括至少一个光源,至少一个导光板,所述光源包括出光部,所述光源组件还进一步包括一透光填充层,所述透光填充层填满所述出光部与所述导光板之间的空隙。所述光源组件可减少光线进入导光板时的反射与折射,从而提高光利用率。

光源组件及包括光源组件的背光模组
技术领域
本发明涉及一种光源组件及包括所述光源组件的背光模组。
背景技术
液晶显示屏等被动式发光器件需要提供专门的背光模组作为平面光源。背光模组一般包括光源以及导光板,导光板将光源发出的光进行分散、混合得到分布均匀的平面光。常用的光源包括冷阴极荧光灯,而近年来由于固态光源技术例如发光二极管的发展,固态光源已逐渐在取代冷阴极荧光灯。
光源通常安装在导光板的侧边或底面上,但无论以何种方式安装,在光源与导光板之间都存在间隙。由于光源的外壳以及导光板通常都是由折射率远大于空气折射率的的固体材料构成,因此光线从光源发出到进入导光板内的过程中在两个界面上具有明显的反射与折射作用。光的反射会造成光的浪费,而折射会影响光场的分布。对于固态光源而言,还往往发生光源内部的全反射现像,严重影响出光效率。
若将光源与导光板制作成直接接触式,则可解决上述问题,然而由于光源外壳与导光板均为固体材料,其接触面间之缝隙将造成不可预期的光干涉现像。使得导光板对于光场的控制更加困难。
发明内容
有鉴于此,有必要提供一种可减少光源与导光板之间光线折射与反射的光源组件,及包括所述光源组件的背光模组。
所述光源组件包括至少一个光源,至少一个导光板,所述光源包括出光部,所述光源组件还进一步包括一透光填充层,所述透光填充层填满所述出光部与所述导光板之间的空隙。
所述背光模组包括光源组件、反射板、及扩散片,所述光源组件包括至少一个光源,至少一个导光板,所述光源包括出光部,所述光源组件还进一步包括一透光填充层,所述透光填充层填满所述出光部与所述导光板之间的空隙。所述扩散片设置在所述导光板的出光面,所述反射板与所述扩散片相对设置且分设于所述导光板之两侧。
所述的光源组件及背光模组中,透光填充层填满在出光部与导光板之间的空隙,可以降低出光部出射的光线入射导光板时的反射及折射,可减少光线反射折射损失,且光线进入导光板时的发散角增高,使导光板的混光更加容易,可有效改善导不板内的光场分布。

具体实施方式
参阅图1,第一实施例的光源组件10包括光源12、透光填充层14及导光板16。光源12可为固态光源如发光二极管,其包括出光部122。透光填充层14填充在出光部122与导光板16之间的空隙内。
出光部122可为光源12的封装外壳,或者形成在光源12封装外壳上的出光结构。具有较高透明度的材料均可选用,如玻璃,硅胶,透明硅橡胶或者透明树脂如环氧树脂等。透光填充层14的厚度使得其可以填满出光部122与导光板16之间的空隙即可,其材质可为透明柔软的材料,例如硅胶,透明硅橡胶、聚氨脂树脂、聚氯乙烯或高粘滞系数的透明液体如有机硅油、高级醇及其酯类化合物等。高级醇指碳原子数大于5的醇类。导光板16可为透明的平板或楔形板,其材质可为玻璃,聚丙烯酸酯、聚甲基丙烯酸酯等。
出光部122的折射率为nL,透光填充层14的折射率为nF,导光板16的折射率为nG,选择出光部122、透光填充层14及导光板16的材质,使nL≤nF≤nG。优选的,选择折射率基本相同的出光部122、透光填充层14及导光板16。此时出光部122出射的光线在进入导光板16的过程中反射及折射损失最低。当出光部12与导光板16的折射率不同时,优选的,选择透光填充层14的材料质使其折射率 n F = n L n G , 此时出光部122出射的光线在进入导光板16的过程中反射及折射损失最低。透光填充层14内可以混进荧光粉,从而当出光部122发出的光线透过透光填充层14时可进一步激发荧光粉发光,可以提高光线的发散角度从而提高光的均匀性。
在制作本实施例的光源组件10时,可将透光填充层14先形成在出光部122上,也可以将透光填充层14先形成在导光板16上,或者分别在出光部122与导光板16上形成第一部分与第二部分,当光源12与导光板16装配好之后,第一部分与第二部分就共同构成透光填充层14。当透光填充层14的材质与出光部122的材质相同时,还可将透光填充层14与出光部122一体成型。当将光源12与导光板16装配好后,透光填充层14就填满在出光部122与导光板16之间的空隙内。
本实施例的光源组件10中,透光填充层14填满在出光部122与导光板16之间的空隙,可以降低出光部122出射的光线入射导光板16时的反射及折射,可减少光线反射折射损失,且光线进入导光板16时的发散角增高,使导光板16的混光更加容易,可有效改善导不板16内的光场分布。当透光填充层与导光板16及出光部12折射率相近或相同时,此种效果更加明显。
第二实施例的光源组件20与第一实施例的光源组件10相似,不同之处主要在于,出光部222为半球形结构。相应的导光板26上具有对应的半球形凹陷262。出光部222设置在凹陷262内。出光部222与导光板26之间的空隙以透光填充层24填满。此种半球形的出光部222,具有更大的发光角度,更加利于光场的分布。而且出光部222可嵌设在导光板26内,因而出光部222发射出的光线基本都进入导光板26,具有更高的光线利用率。本实施例中出光部222为半球形结构,但还可为圆柱、菱柱、锥形及锥台形结构。
以上各实施例中的光源组件为侧面发光式,然而,可以同样将光源设置在导光板的底面上,从而构成直下式的光源组件。
参阅图3,以第一实施例的光源组件10为例说明一种侧光式背光模组30。背光模组30包括光源组件10,反射板32及扩散片34。扩散片34设置在导光板16的出光面162,反射板32与扩散片34相对设置,且反射板32与扩散片34分别设置在导光板16的两侧。反射板32用于将从导光板16逸出的光反射回导光板16内,使其经扩散片34扩散后用于给液晶面板等显示器件提供光源。当然背光模组30还可以采用第二实施例的光源组件20,此时背光模组30为直下式背光模组。
另外,本领域技术人员还可在本发明精神内做其它变化。当然,这些依据本发明精神所做的变化,都应包含在本发明所要求保护的范围之内。

Claims (13)

1.一种光源组件,其包括至少一个光源,至少一个导光板,所述光源包括出光部,其特征在于,所述光源组件还进一步包括一透光填充层,所述透光填充层填满所述出光部与所述导光板之间的空隙。
2.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述出光部的折射率为nL,所述透光填充层的折射率为nF,所述导光板的折射率为nG,且nL≤nF≤nG
3.如权利要求2所述的光源组件,其特征在于, n F = n L n G .
4.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述透光填充层形成在所述导光板上。
5.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述透光填充层形成在所述出光部上。
6.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述透光填充层包括第一部分与第二部分,第一部分形成在所述出光部上,所述第二部分形成在所述导光板上。
7.如权利要求5所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述透光填充层与所述出光部为一体成型的。
8.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述透光填充层中混有荧光粉。
9.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述透光填充层为柔性材料。
10.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述透光填充层为硅胶、透明硅橡胶、聚氨脂树脂、聚氯乙烯、有机硅油、碳原子数大于5的醇及其酯。
11.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述出光部上具有凸起结构或凹陷结构。
12.如权利要求1所述的光源组件,其特征在于,所述导光板与所述透光填充层接触的表面上具有凸起结构或凹陷结构。
13.一种背光模组,包括一光源组件、反射板及扩散片,其特征在于,所述光源组件为权利要求1至12任一项所述的光源组件;所述扩散片设置在所述导光板的出光面,所述反射板与所述扩散片相对设置且分设于所述导光板之两侧。
