Abstract

本发明公开一种背光模组及其显示装置,其包括导光板、胶框及设置于邻近导光板入光面的若干点光源;该背光模组还包括一不透光层,其一部分贴合于所述胶框,另一部分设置于导光板的一出光面上;该不透光层将若干点光源直接发出的一部分光及由该不透光层覆盖的出光面发出的光遮挡吸收。通过此结构可使该背光模组的边框窄化,即使在A/P的比值小于0.5时,也可避免萤火虫(Hotspot)现象的出现,提高了背光模组的光学品味以及显示装置的显示效果,且组装过程被简化,降低了组装成本。

Description

一种背光模组及其显示装置
技术领域
本发明属于液晶显示领域,更具体地说,是涉及一种背光模组及其显示装置。
背景技术
在液晶显示装置中,背光模组为液晶显示装置的关键组件之一,其主要用于提供足够的亮度与分布均匀的光源,使得液晶面板能正常显示影像。
通常,背光模组中的LED背光源分为导光板正下方直入式和导光板侧边侧入式。如图1所示为一种液晶显示装置中背光模组的LED背光源侧入式示意图,其中包括LED灯条10及液晶显示装置的显示区域(即AA区),A值为LED灯到AA区的长度,P值为相邻两个LED灯之间的距离,通常A/P的比值大于0.5,但在LED背光源侧入式的背光模组中,随着背光模组的窄边框化,导致背光模组的A值越来越小,如果A/P的比值小于0.5就容易出现Hotspot(萤火虫)现象,严重影响了背光模组的光学品味以及显示装置的显示效果。
发明内容
为解决上述现有技术中存在的问题,本发明提供了一种边框窄、A/P的比值小于0.5且能够避免出现萤火虫(Hotspot)现象的背光模组及其显示装置。
这种背光模组,包括导光板、胶框及若干点光源,所述若干点光源设置于邻近所述导光板的入光面,所述背光模组还包括一不透光层,所述不透光层的一部分贴合于所述胶框,另一部分设置于所述导光板的一出光面上;所述不透光层将所述若干点光源直接发出的一部分光及由所述不透光层覆盖的所述出光面发出的光遮挡吸收。
进一步地,所述不透光层的另一部分的宽度满足下面的式子:
d>T*tan(arcsin(1/n))
其中,d表示所述黑色塑料的另一部分的宽度;T表示所述导光板的厚度;n表示所述导光板的折射率。
进一步地,所述背光模组还包括多层光学膜片组,所述胶框固定卡持所述多层光学膜片组;所述光学膜片组包括下扩散片、棱镜片及上扩散片,所述下扩散片设置于所述导光板的一出光面上未被所述不透光层覆盖的部分,所述棱镜片、上扩散片依序设置于所述不透光层及所述下扩散片上。
进一步地,所述背光模组还包括多层光学膜片组,所述光学膜片组包括下扩散片、棱镜片及上扩散片,所述下扩散片设置于所述导光板的一出光面上未被所述不透光层覆盖的部分,所述棱镜片、上扩散片依序设置于所述下扩散片上。
进一步地,所述不透光层为黑色塑料。
进一步地,所述黑色塑料的材质为聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯或聚碳酸酯。
进一步地,所述胶框的内沿与外沿之间的距离至少将所述不透光层遮挡。
进一步地,所述若干点光源为LED灯条。
本发明还提供了一种显示装置,包括外框、显示面板及上述的背光模组,所述背光模组对应于所述显示面板设置,所述外框将所述显示面板及所述背光模组固定。
本发明通过在若干点光源和导光板上放置一不透光层,其一部分与胶框贴合在一起,另一部分置于导光板的一出光面上,可使该背光模组的边框窄化,即使在A/P的比值小于0.5时,也可避免萤火虫(Hotspot)现象的出现,提高了背光模组的光学品味以及显示装置的显示效果,且组装过程简化,降低了组装成本。

具体实施方式
为了更好地阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的实施例及其附图进行详细描述,其中,相同的标号始终表示相同的部件。
如图5所示为本发明实施例显示装置的结构示意图,该显示装置400包括外框100、显示面板200及背光模组300;胶框50固定安装其他光学组件构成背光模组300,显示面板200置于胶框50之上,进而由外框100、胶框50等组件固定于背光模组300的上方。
以下文中,将对用于本发明实施例显示装置中的背光模组进行详细的描述。
如图2、图3所示为本发明所述的显示装置的背光模组,该背光模组300包括背板70、通过支撑件71置于背板70上的反射板60、置于反射板60之上并与LED灯条10对置的导光板20、设置在背板70之外并压合导光板20的胶框50、光学膜片组30设置在导光板20的出光面上;其中,光学膜片组30包括下扩散片31、棱镜片32及上扩散片33;不透光层优选为黑色塑料40,其一部分与胶框50的贴合件55贴合,另一部分设置于导光板20的一出光面上,使得黑色塑料40置于LED灯条10和导光板20出光面的一部分之上;下扩散片31设置于导光板20的出光面上未被黑色塑料40覆盖的部分,棱镜片32、上扩散片33依序设置于黑色塑料40及下扩散片31上,或依序只设置于下扩散片31上。通过此结构,可使得胶框50内沿51和外沿52之间的距离比较小,即A/P的比值小于0.5时,也可避免显示装置的显示区域(即图4所示的AA区)发生萤火虫(Hotspot)现象,提高了背光模组的光学品味以及显示装置的显示效果。
以下为本发明实施例背光模组的几个较佳结构。在这些背光模组的结构中,不透光层优选为黑色塑料。
如图2所示是本发明实施例背光模组的一种结构示意图,该背光模组300包括背板70、通过支撑件71置于背板70上的反射板60、置于反射板60之上并与LED灯条10对置的导光板20、设置在背板70之外并压合导光板20的胶框50、光学膜片组30设置在导光板20的出光面上;其中,光学膜片组30包括下扩散片31、棱镜片32及上扩散片33。黑色塑料40的一部分与胶框50的贴合件55贴合在一起,另一部分设置于导光板20的一出光面上,使得黑色塑料40置于LED灯条10之上、且置于导光板20出光面的一部分之上。下扩散片31的一侧紧贴着置于导光板20出光面上的黑色塑料40的一侧放置,覆盖了导光板20的出光面上未被黑色塑料40覆盖的部分。接着将棱镜片32、上扩散片31依序完全覆盖在黑色塑料40及下扩散片33之上,胶框50的压合件53压合于上扩散片31上,进而将光学膜片组30及黑色塑料40完全压合于导光板20之上。如此使得胶框50内沿51和外沿52之间的距离比较小,即在A/P的比值小于0.5时,也可避免显示装置的显示区域(即图4所示的AA区)发生萤火虫(Hotspot)现象,而且在组装过程中,直接将尺寸设定好的黑色塑料40按上述方法放置,而后将光学模组的其他组件依次组装,工艺简单且节省了组装成本。
在本实施例中,黑色塑料40覆盖于导光板20上的宽度满足下面的式子(1):

其中,d表示黑色塑料40覆盖于导光板20上的宽度;T表示导光板20的厚度;n表示导光板20的折射率。只有d满足上述式子(1),才能将LED灯条10照射在导光板20上产生的萤火虫(Hotspot)现象遮蔽掉。
在本实施例中,黑色塑料40的材质可以是聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)或聚碳酸酯(PC),能够将覆盖于黑色塑料下的LED灯条10直接发出的一部分光及由黑色塑料40覆盖的导光板的出光面发出的光遮挡吸收掉,避免侧漏光及萤火虫现象。
在本实施例中,胶框50的内沿51和外沿52之间的距离至少能够将黑色塑料40遮挡,避免露出黑色边沿,影响显示效果。
如图3所示为本发明实施例背光模组的另一种结构示意图,与上述背光模组结构不同的是,在本实施例中,将下扩散片31的一侧紧贴着置于导光板20的出光面上黑色塑料40的一侧放置,其覆盖了导光板20的出光面上未被黑色塑料40覆盖的部分。接着将棱镜片32、上扩散片31依序完全覆盖在下扩散片33之上,并不覆盖黑色塑料40。胶框50的压合件53压合于黑色塑料40上,胶框50的卡持件54卡持于上扩散片31上,进而将光学膜片组30完全压合于导光板20之上。如此也可使得胶框50内沿51和外沿52之间的距离比较小,即在A/P的比值小于0.5时,也可避免显示装置的显示区域(即图4所示的AA区)发生萤火虫(Hotspot)现象,而且在组装过程中,直接将尺寸设定好的黑色塑料40按上述方法放置,而后将光学模组的其他组件依次组装,工艺简单且节省了组装成本。
同样地,在本实施例中,黑色塑料40覆盖于导光板20上的宽度满足下面的式子(2):

1.一种背光模组,包括导光板、胶框及若干点光源,所述若干点光源设置于邻近所述导光板的入光面,其特征在于,所述背光模组还包括一不透光层,所述不透光层的一部分贴合于所述胶框,另一部分设置于所述导光板的一出光面上;所述不透光层将所述若干点光源直接发出的一部分光及由所述不透光层覆盖的所述出光面发出的光遮挡吸收。
2.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述不透光层的另一部分的宽度满足下面的式子:

其中,d表示所述黑色塑料的另一部分的宽度;T表示所述导光板的厚度;n表示所述导光板的折射率。

5.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述不透光层为黑色塑料。
6.根据权利要求5所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述黑色塑料的材质为聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯或聚碳酸酯。
