在附图中,根据本发明的八角形散装箱总体上以附图标记10表示,且特别地参看图1、2和3,该八角形散装箱包括相对的平行侧壁11和12、相对的平行端壁13和14以及置于相应的侧壁与端壁之间的对角板15、16和17和18。侧壁、端壁以及对角板沿着竖直折叠部20接合。主底折片21和22沿着水平折叠部23可折叠地接合到相应侧壁的底边缘,次底折片24和25沿着水平折叠线26可折叠地接合到相应端壁的底边缘,且对角底折片27、28、29和30沿着水平折叠部31接合到相应的对角板。主底折片和次底折片在它们的相应折叠部与自由边缘之间等长,但主底折片比次底折片宽得多,且在其相反的侧边缘上具有梯形形状翅片33和34。对角底折片比主底折片和次底折片短得多,在所示的特殊实施例中,它们的相应折叠部与自由边缘之间的长度被示出成仅为主折片和次折片的长度的大约1/3。
应当指出,如图1所示,端壁比侧壁宽度小,对角板比端壁宽度小,但如在其他图所示的优选实施例中所述,对角板与端壁具有相同的宽度。本发明同样适用于任一形式。
在任一形式中,次底折片在它们相应的相邻侧边缘处通过主角片板或连接部40连接到对角底折片,且主底折片通过次角片板或连接部41连接到对角底折片的相应的相反侧边缘,从而,将主底折片与相邻的对角底折片分离的狭缝或切割部42未延伸到将这些折片接合到相应的侧壁和对角板的水平折叠部。此外,切割部42界定出翅片33和34的倾斜侧边缘43和44,且以背向水平折叠部和竖直折叠部的J或钩形45终止,从而使应力偏离竖直折叠部的下端,以避免在竖直折叠部中启动撕裂。
角片板或连接部40和41最好参见图4、5和7。主连接部40由与关联的次底折片的侧边缘大致共线延伸的第一折痕46和与第一折痕成大约30°的角延伸的第二折痕47形成,并使第一和第二折痕分别邻近于竖直折叠部20和26的最近相交部位会聚。曲切割部(reliefcut)48和49形成在相应的折痕46和47中,且延伸经过相应折痕的中间部分的大约三分之一长度,并在它们的端部处以短的横向切割部50和51终止,以防止切割部48和49的扩展。
次角片板或连接部41由第一折痕55和第二折痕56限定,所述第一折痕55分别与倾斜侧边缘43大致共线、且从钩形切割部45的底部延伸到邻近于竖直折叠部20和水平折叠部26的最近相交部位,所述第二折痕56与第一折痕成大约30°的角定向,且从钩45的鼻部延伸成邻近于所述最近相交部分与第一折痕会聚。
关于角片板40、41以及切割部42、45,应当指出,切割部45的形状不必局限于J形,而是可以具有使应力偏离切割部42的端部并避免启动沿着角片板折痕55、56中的一个折痕或沿着一个竖直折叠部20的撕裂的任何形状。例如,切割部可被成形为变形的希腊字母Ψ,或颠倒的变形希腊字母Ψ或T、L、U、V等,如在2002年12月12日提交的同属于本申请人的在先美国申请No.10/316966中所述。而且,角片板折痕46、47或55、56相交的点可位于水平折痕23、26或31,或者与其间隔开短的距离。
自锁结构由每个次底折片的自由边缘中的一对三角形形状凹口60和61、和一对倾斜槽64和65限定,所述一对三角形形状凹口60和61在次底折片的拐角上形成一对锁定凸片62和63,所述一对倾斜槽64和65形成在主底折片中它们的自由边缘附近的位置处,以在主底折片和次底折片向内折叠在箱的底部上时接收锁定凸片。
为了使箱装配直立起来,它被放置在底端朝上的颠倒位置,如图6所示。如果需要,为了有助于使箱摆好和为了防止箱的顶端污染,颠倒的箱可被放置在塑料托盘100上。如图7所示,主底折片21和22首先向内折叠,随后次底折片24和25向内折叠。然后次折片向下挤压在主折片上,使主折片向下稍微移动到箱中,以使锁定凸片62和63与槽64和65正向对齐。当向下压力被释放时,折片向上弹回,使得凸片伸入到槽中,以在大致平的位置处将折片互锁起来而封闭箱的底部,如图2所示。注意,锁定的次底折片也扣锁着对角底折片,以将它们保持在它们的向内折叠位置。
如图3所示,箱10由单个整体坯件B制成。坯件包括一块大致矩形形状且具有合适重量的波纹材料,例如单壁、双壁或三壁,且具有多个第一平行的间隔开的折痕20,所述多个第一平行的间隔开的折痕20界定出侧壁板11和12、端壁板13和14以及对角板15、16、17和18。垂直于第一折痕20延伸的第二折痕23相应地限定出侧壁板11和12、端壁板13和14和对角板15、16、17和18的底边缘。多个底部形成折片板21、22、24、25和27-30沿着相应的折痕23、26和31接合到相应壁板的底边缘。板21和22形成主底折片,板24和25形成次底折片,板27-30形成从坯件装配直立起来的箱中的对角底折片。大致梯形形状的侧延伸部或翅片33和34沿着折痕20可折叠地接合到主底折片的相反侧边缘。对角底折片形成板27-30通过第一和第二角片40和41可折叠地接合到毗邻的主、次底折片形成板的相应的相邻侧边缘。
主底折片形成板21和22通过切割部42与毗邻的对角折片形成板分离,所述切割部42以大约45°的角从相应板的侧边缘延伸到与相应的折痕23或31间隔开显著大的距离的点。切割部42限定出翅片33和34的倾斜侧边缘43和44,且以背向折痕23、26和31的J或钩形45终止。第二角片41将主底折片形成板和相邻的对角折片形成板在J形切割部45和折痕23、26和31之间的区域中互连起来。
第一角片40包括三角形连接部,该三角形连接部由一对折痕46和47界定,所述一对折痕46和47以大约30°的角分叉、且从邻近于但与相应折痕23、26和31以及该折痕与相邻折痕20的接合部位间隔开的点延伸到相应对角折片板的自由外边缘。促进折叠切割部48和49沿着折痕46和47的一小部分长度形成,且形成了横跨切割部48和49的端部的短的横向切割部,以防止切割部48和49的扩展。折痕46与相应的相邻折痕20和相应的次底折片板的侧边缘大致同轴对齐。
第二角片41包括三角形连接部,该三角形连接部由一对折痕46和47界定,所述一对折痕46和47以大约30°的角分叉、且从邻近于但与相应折痕23、26和31以及该折痕与相邻折痕20的接合部位间隔开的点延伸到相应的J形切割部45。
一对大致V形凹口60和61形成在每个次底折片板24和25的自由外边缘中,从而在次底折片板的外拐角上限定出一对锁定凸片62和63。
倾斜槽64和65形成在每个主底折片板21和22的外侧边缘部分中。
可用于包括本发明的八角形箱在内的箱的塑料托盘100有利于组装箱和防止箱的顶部污染,且还有助于阻止侧壁由于储存在其中的材料的向外压力而向外鼓起。而且,可以想像得出托盘的使用可使得箱上下堆放。
最好参看图16,托盘100包括平台101,该平台101具有绕着其周边的直立唇部或凸缘102,该唇部或凸缘102的尺寸和形状适于紧密地接收八角形箱的底端。因此,托盘不仅能够起着夹具的作用以帮助组装箱,而且它还加强了托盘的底端,以便有助于阻止箱的容纳物产生的向外压力。托盘还包括腿部或支撑部103,该腿部或支撑部103从平台的底表面向下伸出,从而在它们之间限定出用于接收手力千斤顶或叉车的叉齿的空间。腿部是中空的,这最好参看图6,且腿部被成形成使一个托盘的腿部可嵌入或伸入到底下托盘的腿中,用于托盘的可嵌套堆放。
Claims (8)
1.一种八角形散装箱,包括:
一对相对侧壁、一对相对端壁和置于相邻侧壁与端壁之间的成对的对角板,其中,侧壁、端壁和对角板沿着竖直折叠部彼此接合起来;
沿着水平折叠部可折叠地接合到侧壁的底边缘的主底折片;
沿着水平折叠部可折叠地接合到端壁的底边缘的次底折片;
沿着水平折叠部可折叠地接合到对角板的底边缘的对角底折片;
将所述主底折片与相应的相邻对角底折片分离的切割部,所述切割部以与所述水平折叠部间隔开的关系终止,以防止启动所述竖直折叠部的撕裂;以及
将每个次底折片的相反侧边缘与相应的相邻对角底折片的相邻侧边缘互连起来的第一角片板,其中,
第二角片板将每个主底折片的相反侧边缘与相应的相邻对角底折片的相邻侧边缘互连起来,且将所述主底折片与相应的相邻对角底折片分离的所述切割部终止于相应的第二角片板;
将所述主底折片与相应的相邻对角底折片分离的所述切割部以J形终止,所述J形使应力偏离所述水平和竖直折叠部;
所述第一和第二角片板分别包括由一对折痕界定的三角形连接部,所述一对折痕从用于相应的关联折片的水平折叠部与相邻的竖直折叠部的接合部位附近的点分叉;
界定出每个所述第二角片板的连接部的分叉折痕中的一个折痕与将相应的所述主底折片与相应的相邻对角底折片分离的相应切割部共线,且所述分叉折痕中的另一个折痕延伸到所述J形的末端。
2.如权利要求1所述的八角形散装箱,其特征在于:
界定出每个所述第一角片板的连接部的所述一对分叉折痕中的一个所述折痕与相应的次底折片的相邻侧边缘和相邻竖直折叠部共线;以及
所述一对分叉折痕中的另一个所述折痕延伸到相应的对角底折片的自由外边缘。
3.如权利要求1所述的八角形散装箱,其特征在于:
促进折叠切割部形成在界定出每个所述第一角片板的所述连接部的每一个分叉折痕中。
4.如权利要求3所述的八角形散装箱,其特征在于:
形成横跨每个促进折叠切割部的相反端部的短的横向切割部,以防止所述促进折叠切割部的扩展。
5.如权利要求1所述的八角形散装箱,其特征在于:
一对间隔开的V形凹口形成在每个次底折片的外自由边缘中,从而在每个次底折片的所述外自由边缘的相反拐角上形成一对间隔开的锁定凸片;以及
一对间隔开的开口槽形成在邻近于每个所述主底折片的外自由边缘的位置处,以在主底折片和次底折片向内折叠到横跨所述箱的底部的封闭位置时与相应的所述锁定凸片正向对齐,所述锁定凸片伸入到所述槽中,以将主底折片和次底折片锁定在它们的向内折叠位置。
6.如权利要求5所述的八角形散装箱,其特征在于:
界定出每个所述第一角片板的连接部的所述一对分叉折痕的一个所述折痕与相应的次底折片的相邻侧边缘和相邻的竖直折叠部共线;以及
所述一对分叉折痕中的另一个所述折痕延伸到相应的对角底折片的自由外边缘。
7.如权利要求5所述的八角形散装箱,其特征在于:
促进折叠切割部形成在界定出每个所述第一角片板的所述连接部的分叉折痕中的每一个折痕中。
8.如权利要求7所述的八角形散装箱,其特征在于:
形成横跨每个促进折叠切割部的相反端部的短的横向切割部,以防止所述促进折叠切割部的扩展。
