在过去几年中,诸如杀虫动物耳标、颈圈和垂饰等装置的应用目益广泛,使得人们投入相当大的精力来研发改良装置以克服随着所述装置的使用增多而暴露的问题。人们一直寻求在设计、组成和制造技术上的改良以克服诸如破裂和损耗等问题,以及改良效力和易用性。例如在美国专利第3,731,414号中阐述的耳标因其尺寸、设计和附着方法导致标签的某些部分长时间经受挠曲和应力而出现破裂和损耗。此外,纳入实际上可弱化聚合物基质的活性成份或活性成份混合物会导致塑料标签破裂或脆化。另外,需要注意活性成份的具体特性以确保在聚合物基质中活性成份保持其杀虫活性。
聚合反应或制造过程对活性组份的干扰或活性组份在聚合反应或制造过程期间的降解导致所得耳标脆化和破裂,这是在动物耳标制备中人们极为关注的领域。活性组份浓度的增加是对所获得塑料标签强度的一个限制因素。
本发明的目的是提供不被上述限制所局限的组合物和装置。
发明内容
本发明提供一种包含有效量氰氟虫胺(metaflumizone)的以耳标、颈圈或垂饰的形式用于温血动物的组合物。
耳标可呈单组件形式或双组件耳标的形式,其可经受住长时间的挠曲和应力压力,由此使耳标的破裂和损耗减少。有利地,耳标、颈圈或垂饰能容纳高浓度氰氟虫胺,由此增强其效力和活性范围;尤其针对困扰牛、犬、猫和其他在开放地区牧养或活动的温血动物的昆虫。本发明的两件式动物耳标的另一优势为每次需要更换杀虫剂时,不必再次刺伤动物耳朵即可更换第二组件。在一实施例中,本发明是一种动物耳标、颈圈或垂饰,其包含约:40%至90%热塑性树脂;以及1%至30%氰氟虫胺。视需要,也可添加0.0%至4.0%处理稳定剂;0.2%至10.0%润滑剂;0.3%至0.5%螯合剂;1%至2.5%加热处理稳定剂;0%至5.0%流动剂;0%至35.0%杀虫增效剂和迁移促进剂;5.0%至25.0%增塑剂或增塑剂混合物;0.5%至2.0%着色剂;以及0至30%一或多种其他杀虫剂。在另一实施例中,将所述组合物浸渍或涂布到由天然或合成织物或纤维或金属丝或聚氯乙烯聚合物或共聚物的固态分散体构成的网状基质组件上来形成耳标、颈圈或悬挂垂饰装置。

具体实施方式
在两件式耳标装置或垂饰中,经构建成附着至动物的第一组件实际上可由任何具有适宜尺寸和强度的材料构建而成。优选地,第一组件由热塑性树脂材料(例如聚氯乙烯树脂和聚氨基甲酸酯弹性体)或经浸渍织物、织品或其它材料制成。
适用于本发明的两件式耳标或垂饰实施例的插脚、夹片或环可为包括卡口型系统的任一设计,前提条件是其可将耳标或垂饰固定在适当位置。视需要可利用一种固定插脚的构件,且其可为设计的一个组成部分或一个独立单元。美国专利第3,731,414号揭示适用于本发明的附着至动物耳朵的优选方式,此专利以引用方式并入本文中。
装载氰氟虫胺的组件通常包含(以重量计)约40%至90%聚氯乙烯或其他热塑性树脂;以及约1%至30%氰氟虫胺。根据所选聚氯乙烯或其他热塑性树脂的特性,其他任选组份可包括约0.0%至4.0%处理稳定剂(例如环氧大豆油);约0.02%至10.0%润滑剂(例如硬脂酸);约0.3%至0.5%螯合剂(例如亚磷酸三壬酯);约0.1%至2.5%加热处理稳定剂(例如硬脂酸钙锌);约0%至5.0%流动剂(例如SiO2);约0%至35.0%杀虫增效剂和迁移促进剂(例如胡椒基丁醚(piperonyl butoxide));约0%至25.0%增塑剂或增塑剂混合物(例如邻苯二甲酸二辛酯、邻苯二甲酸苄丁酯、邻苯二甲酸二丁酯、柠檬酸酯、己二酸酯或癸二酸酯);以及约1%至30%其他杀虫剂(例如双甲脒(amitraz)、氟虫腈(fipronil)、吡虫啉(imidachloprid)、氯菊酯(permethrin)、除虫菊精(pyrethrins)、胡椒基丁醚、溴虫腈(chlorfenapyr)或酚丁灭虱(fenothrin))。必要时,可以约0.5-2.0%的量添加着色剂,尤其为了将动物与含氰氟虫胺装置区别开来。
氰氟虫胺是一种新型杀虫剂,揭示于美国专利第5,543,573号和美国公开申请案第2004-0122075A1号中,二者均以引用方式并入本文中。
含氰氟虫胺组件可以由优选地与第一组件材料不同的材料制造而来。此含氰氟虫胺组件可通过将氢氟虫胺-树脂组合物涂布、挤压、共挤压或浸渍到例如天然或合成的织物或纤维网(例如聚芳酰胺或聚酯)、金属丝网或聚氯乙烯聚合物或共聚物基质的固态分散体等基质上而制造于所述基质上。
可通过下述方法制造含氰氟虫胺组件:通过在掺合机中将干态成份混合来制备干态成份掺合物,在80℃至120℃范围内的温度下在掺合的同时加热混合物,然后缓慢添加液态成份混合物并混合直到获得相对干的掺合物。使所获得均质掺合物在混合同时冷却并添加且掺合任选SiO2以获得均质干态掺合物,然后可视需要将其模塑、挤压或共挤压到基质上,或者然后通过挤压将所述干态掺合物粒化,再视需要将粒化干态掺合物模塑、挤压或共挤压到上述基质上并冲孔或切割成所需形状。或者,如本文中通过美国专利第5,104,569号所揭示,可通过用包含活性成份的乙烯树脂分散体涂布或浸渍基质来制备含氰氟虫胺组件,所述专利以引用方式并入本文中。此外,此含氰氟虫胺组件可包含不止一个部分。各个部分可由相同或不同成份组成且也可提供活性成份的不同释放速率。这样的第二组件使得可应用在单一部分中不相容的活性成份以及用于以相同或不同速率输送活性成份混合物的替代方法。
对于某些应用,人们已发现使用一件式设计的经浸渍涂布、挤压或共挤压的织品基质标签可提供若干优于习用一件式模塑标签的优点。当在由天然或合成的织物或纤维网或金属丝网构成的基质上制造包含杀虫活性成份或杀虫活性成份混合物的组合物时,可获得更坚固的耳标,其不易破裂而因此使得可将更多种组合物纳入所述标签中。同样地,由于所述基质的强度,一件式基质动物耳标不像塑料模塑耳标那样在附着至耳朵的方式上受限。所述基质材料同样适合形成颈圈或垂饰。
通过下述非限制性实例进一步阐释本发明。本文所述第一或第二组件意欲涵盖包括各种形状和尺寸的所有设计修改。
实例1
单组件耳标或颈圈的制备
A.干法掺合
各组份的干态掺合物使用下文表I中所列的成份通过以下制备:掺合固体成份直至获得均质混合物,然后将混合物加热至85℃。然后将液态成份混合物缓慢添加至经搅拌混合物中。所有液体添加入混合物中后,将混合物加热至110℃并搅拌10分钟。使经搅拌掺合物冷却至70℃并添加充足SiO2来获得自由流动的干态掺合物。然后将干态掺合物冷却至环境温度并加以收集。

B.粒化
可使用标准低切应力挤出机在升高温度(通常在300至350范围内)下粒化在上文A中制备的组合物。然后将所得挤出材料通过气流切割切割至所需尺寸并封装所得颗粒。
C.注射成型
将上文B中所制备的颗粒填充至350吨压机中并将温度和时间特性设为325下二十秒。通过注射成型使所述组合物模塑成所需尺寸或将其挤压至所需尺寸,并封装所得组件。
制备单相耳标的另一方法可为在室温下干法掺合下述成份:

实例2
织物基质氰氟虫胺组件的制备
使用如实例1A所述制备的干态掺合物制备含氰氟虫胺组件,其每100份PVC中包含54重量份数氰氟虫胺和18重量份数的若干种增塑剂。将这些干态掺合物粒化并挤出至织物基质上且冲孔及刀模压裁成所需的形状,得到重约8克的杀虫组件。
实例3
氰氟虫胺涂布组合物的制备
将180g乙酰基柠檬酸三丁酯添加至300g特性粘度为1.20而平均粒径为0.95微米的乙烯树脂和视需要6g硬脂酸Ca/Zn和9g环氧大豆油的经搅拌混合物中。向此经搅拌混合物中添加100g氰氟虫胺(纯度90%)。将所得混合物搅拌至均质之后在室温和686mm/Hg下脱气过夜。
实例4
含氰氟虫胺二件式标签的含氰氟虫胺组件的制备
将一固体基质预加热至100℃,然后浸入实例2中所制备的杀虫涂布组合物中。使所得经涂布组件在90℃至135℃下于炉中硬化5至8分钟,获得含有1.7g至2.86g氰氟虫胺涂布组合物的经涂布基质。
实例5
含氰氟虫胺经涂布基质的制备
(a)使用实例3的程序和下表II中所列材料制备乙烯树脂分散体。

(b)然后通过下列来制备氰氟虫胺涂布组合物:将氢氟虫胺添加至实例5(a)中制备的乙烯树脂分散体中并掺合至均质。然后使所得混合物在降低压力(686mm/Hg)下脱气16小时,产生适用于制备经涂布耳标装置的氰氟虫胺组合物。
(c)然后可通过在90℃至135℃下于2-10分钟内涂布及硬化所得经涂布基质来制备耳标昆虫控制装置。
实例6
含有氰氟虫胺和各种其他杀虫剂的经共挤压双层牛耳标
制备双层耳标的另一方法可为制备两种经干法掺合的组合物,一种包含氰氟虫胺,而分开地,一种干掺合物含有另一种杀虫剂,例如(但不限于)双甲脒、氟虫腈、吡虫啉、氯菊酯、除虫菊精、胡椒基丁醚、溴虫腈、酚丁灭虱。
各层可以类似方式制备:
层1
经修饰PVCSuperkleen 100份
聚氯乙烯树脂(Alpha Gary出售)
氢氟虫胺 10-40份
着色剂(根据需要) 0-1份
层2
经修饰PVCSuperkleen 100份
聚氯乙烯树脂(Alpha Gary出售)
乙酰基柠檬酸三丁酯或另一可接受增塑剂 30份
双甲脒 10-30份
着色剂(根据需要) 1份
各层在一装置(例如带式掺合机)中分开掺合。将各组合物装载入双进给挤出机中,其中一单或双螺杆挤出机进而进给注射成型装置。所述螺杆挤出机对各相分开处理。然后可将所得熔融基质注射入构建为具有适合厚度和总耳标重量的耳标的模中,在真空下成形,之后放出冷却并在室温下硬化。
实例7
通过挤出至聚酯织物上制备一件式基质动物耳标
通过实例1的程序制备两种干态掺合物,其包含(以重量计)100份PVC、18.88份环氧大豆油、0.54份硬脂酸、0.65份磷酸三壬酯、1.96份硬脂酸Ca/Zn、0.44份HYP212、0.76份HYP211、2.0份HW132、0.65份UIV稳定剂、30份氰氟虫胺;一种含有18份邻苯二甲酸苄丁酯(BBP),而另一种含有18份乙酰基柠檬酸三丁酯(ATBC)。通过将熔化物经过成型模具共挤压至基质上而将这些干态掺合物各自涂布至纤维网基质上。将所得经浸渍基质切割成重约8.5克的标准一件式动物耳标的形状。
将这些杀虫耳标悬挂在一室内,此室被覆网状织物以将苍蝇限制在12×17″×9″的空间中。各室内放置一杯水以及一份糖和奶粉。
测试开始时,将约100只三至五日龄的家蝇置于各室中。将所述各室置于温度为82的房间内。每天(除周六和周日外)观察所述苍蝇并记录死亡率。在研究终止时,将所述各室置于冷冻库中过夜以杀死剩余苍蝇,清点数量。基于观察期间死亡的苍蝇数和研究终止时清点的苍蝇数计算死亡百分率。
Claims (8)
1.一种动物耳标、颈圈或垂饰,其以重量计包含约:40%至90%热塑性树脂;和1%至30%氰氟虫胺(metaflumizone)。
2.如权利要求1所述的耳标、颈圈或垂饰,其中所述耳标是在由天然或合成织物或纤维网、金属丝网或聚氯乙烯聚合物或共聚物的固态分散体构成的基质上制造。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的动物耳标、颈圈或垂饰,其以重量计另外包含约:0.0%至4.0%处理稳定剂;0.2%至10.0%润滑剂;0.3%至0.5%螯合剂;
1%至2.5%加热处理稳定剂;
0%至5.0%流动剂;
0%至35.0%杀虫增效剂和迁移促进剂;
5.0%至25.0%增塑剂或增塑剂混合物;
0.5%至2.0%着色剂;和
0至30%一或多种其他杀虫剂。
4.如权利要求1、2或3所述的耳标、颈圈或垂饰,其中将所述组合物浸渍或涂布到由天然或合成织物或纤维或金属丝或聚氯乙烯聚合物或共聚物的固态分散体构成的网状基质组件上。
5.如权利要求1所述的耳标、颈圈或垂饰,其中所述组件是通过挤压或共挤压而加以制造。
6.如权利要求1、2或3所述的耳标、颈圈或垂饰,其中所述热塑性树脂是聚氯乙烯树脂。
7.如权利要求3所述的耳标、颈圈或垂饰,其另外包含双甲脒(amitraz)。
8.一种用于在局部环境中控制昆虫的方法,所述方法包括:使动物与包含权利要求1、2或3的组合物的耳标、颈圈或垂饰接触。
