Abstract

Description
本发明涉及眼内晶状体(IOL),并且更具体地涉及用于将IOL植入眼内的设备。
发明背景
人眼最简单的术语解释是通过称为角膜的透明外层部分传输和折射光线,并进一步将图像经由晶状体聚焦在眼睛后部的视网膜上来提供视觉功能。所聚焦的图像质量取决于很多因素包括眼睛的大小、形状和长度,以及角膜和晶状体的形状和透明度。
当受外伤、上年纪或生病造成晶状体变得不太透明时,视力由于能够传输到视网膜光线的减少而恶化。眼睛晶状体的缺陷在医学上公认为白内障。针对这种情况的治疗是外科移除晶状体并植入人工晶状体或IOL。
虽然早期IOL由硬塑料制成,例如聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA),软的、可折叠的IOL由硅树脂制成,由于能将这些软性透镜折叠或卷起并通过更小的切口将其插入,软性丙烯酸酯类和水凝胶正越来越通用。可使用一些卷起或折叠该透镜的方法。一种通用的方法是注射器药筒将透镜折叠并提供较小直径的腔,通常由软顶柱塞推动透镜穿过该腔进入眼内。所用最普遍的注射器药筒设计在美国专利No.4,681,102(Bartell)中阐述,并包括分离的、纵向铰接药筒。类似的设计在美国专利No.5,494,484和5,499,987(Feingold)和5,616,418和5,620,450(Eagles等)中阐述。为避开美国专利No.4,681,102的权利要求,对一些固体药筒进行研究,见例如美国专利No.5,275,604(Rheinish等)和5,653,715(Reich等)。
这些设备设计为植入单片或单元晶状体。当前发展的IOL包括多组件晶状体,例如具有分离晶状体和稳固环的晶状体系统。这两种组件必须植入囊袋组装成完整的系统。现有技术的注射药筒还不能够将多组件晶状体系统的所有组件注射入囊袋中。
因此,为使晶状体传送系统能够将多组件晶状体系统的所有组件注射入囊袋的需求仍然存在。
发明简述
本发明对现有技术的改进在于提供一种具有两个折叠机构的晶状体传送系统。第一机构构造用于折叠眼内晶状体稳固环,以及第二机构设计用于折叠眼内晶状体。
因此,本发明的目的在于提供一种适于储存、装载并传送晶状体进入眼内同时不使用任何附加设备的晶状体传送系统。
本发明进一步的目的在于提供一种适于由软丙烯酸材料制成的折叠晶状体的晶状体传送系统。
本发明进一步的目的在于提供一种具有两个折叠机构的晶状体传送系统。
本发明提供了一种眼内晶状体传送系统,包括:a)主体,该主体具有第一平台和第二平台,所述第一平台和第二平台的大小和形状适于接收多组件眼内晶状体的组件;b)第一盖和第二盖,用于分别覆盖第一平台和第二平台;c)管口,位于该主体的远端上,该管口部分具有可移除的盖;d)柱塞,通过一杆引导件与所述第二平台相连接;e)环推进件,与第一平台相连接并适于在第一平台内往复移动,其中所述环推进件包含突片,该突片用于防止柱塞的向前移动;以及f)能够移除的装载锁,用于防止环推进件移动,其中所述装载锁具有用于防止晶状体部分在装载过程中移动的止块。

发明详述
最佳如图1所详示,本发明的晶状体传送系统10通常包括药筒形的主体12、环推进件14、柱塞16和装载锁18。主体12通常包含远端管口20、开放的环折叠平台22和开放的晶状体折叠平台24。多组件眼内晶状体的环部分26放置在环折叠平台22上,并通过在环折叠平台22上方折叠环平台盖28并由卡扣36保持该环平台盖28在适当位置而由环推进件14固定,从而将环部分26装入环折叠平台22内,如图3所示。多组件眼内晶状体的晶状体部分30放置在晶状体折叠平台24上,并通过在晶状体折叠平台24上方折叠晶状体平台盖34而由装载锁18上的止块32固定,如图3所示。由卡扣38将盖34合适地保持在折叠位置。
管口20优选为内部中空,且其大小适合插入环部分26和晶状体部分30穿过相对小(例如,2mm数量级或更小)的切口。盖28和盖34可分别包含端口40和42,以允许粘弹性材料被引入环折叠平台22和晶状体折叠平台24以及环绕环部分26和晶状体部分30。
最佳如图5和6所详示,可用作晶状体传送系统10的部件的手持件100,通常由管状主体102、柱塞杆104和指环106组成。最佳如图6所示,主体102的远端108包含槽口部分110,该槽口部分的大小和形状通过使用诸如主体12上的锁定突片50以接收和稳固地保持主体12。远端108还包含缓冲器112,其具有如下所述的功能。推动指环106使得柱塞杆104在主体102内往复移动。柱塞杆104可以装配在主体102内的弹簧(未示出)上,用于提供触觉反馈。
使用中,以图1和2所示的方式将装载锁18和柱塞16安装在主体12上。如图2所示将环部分26和晶状体部分30放置在主体12内,且如图3所示将盖28和34闭合。装载锁18防止环推进件14在装载过程中移动,且环推进件14上的突片60防止柱塞16向前移动。止块32和柱塞杆引导件70防止晶状体部分30在装载过程中移动。当准备使用时,移除装载锁18和压入环推进件14,如图4所示,并由卡扣19锁定在适当位置。环推进件14的这种移动折缩或折叠起环部分26,使得环部分26适于穿过管口20。这种移动还将突片60上的槽口62与柱塞16排成一条直线,使得柱塞16向前移动。将粘弹性材料注射穿过端口40和42进入管口20。主体12安装在手持件100远端108的槽口部分110中,如图8所示。这种安装使得柱塞杆16接触并由缓冲器112略微向前推进。这种移动使得晶状体部分30略微向前推进,开始对晶状体部分30进行折叠。柱塞杆104向前并由杆引导件70引导与晶状体部分30接触。进一步移动柱塞杆104推动晶状体部分30穿过主体12的内孔80以便接触已压缩的环部分26,并以顺次方式将环部分26及随后的晶状体部分30推出管口20。

Claims (6)
1.一种眼内晶状体传送系统,包括:
a)主体,该主体具有第一平台和第二平台,所述第一平台和第二平台的大小和形状适于接收多组件眼内晶状体的组件;
b)第一盖和第二盖,用于分别覆盖第一平台和第二平台;
c)管口,位于该主体的远端上;
d)柱塞,通过一杆引导件与所述第二平台相连接;
e)环推进件,与第一平台相连接并适于在第一平台内往复移动,其中所述环推进件包含突片,该突片用于防止所述柱塞的向前移动;以及
f)能够移除的装载锁,用于防止环推进件移动,其中所述装载锁具有用于防止晶状体部分在装载过程中移动的止块。
2.权利要求1所述的晶状体传送系统,其中所述柱塞进一步包括所述杆引导件。
3.权利要求1所述的晶状体传送系统,进一步包括手持件,该手持件具有用于接收所述主体的槽口。
4.权利要求3所述的晶状体传送系统,其中手持件进一步包括当主体安装在手持件的槽口中时导致柱塞移动的缓冲器。
5.权利要求2所述的晶状体传送系统,进一步包括手持件,该手持件具有柱塞杆和用于接收所述主体的槽口。
6.权利要求5所述的晶状体传送系统,其中当将主体安装在槽口内且柱塞杆向前穿过手持件时,该柱塞杆延伸通过所述杆引导件。
