发明背景
在美国专利号为NO.5,755,538的专利中公开了这一去毛刺刀具的示例。该去毛刺刀具包括刀架和具有后向凹槽的切削刀片,刀架内有从其径向延伸出至后向壁的径向窗口。切削刀片是由附着于后向壁并位于和接合后向凹槽的弹簧来装载的。应注意到在该去毛刺刀具中,后向凹槽的存在可能会弱化切削刀片。而且没有调节机构调节弹簧施加到切削刀片上的偏置力。
本发明的目的是提供改良的去毛刺刀具,进一步的目的是提供用于去毛刺的改良的切削刀片。

发明概要
根据本发明优选提供的切削刀片包括:
大体上圆柱形的主体,
在主体前向端的切削部分,
从主体的后向端向后延伸的大体上圆柱形的副体,
在主体的外表面形成并在主体的后向端敞开的弹簧卡槽,以及
在主体的外表面形成的保持卡槽。
根据优选实施例,弹簧卡槽和保持卡槽位于主体外表面的相对侧。
根据本发明,优选提供大体上圆柱形的刀架,其具有刀具直径和在其前端附近的刀片槽,刀片槽包括:
大体上圆柱形的主腔,其具有纵向腔轴线,主腔经由主孔向刀架的外刀具表面敞开,
大体上圆柱形的副腔,其与主腔相通并经由副孔向刀架的外刀具表面敞开,
弹簧孔,其与主腔相通并向刀架的外刀具表面敞开,以及
保持孔,其与主腔相通并向刀架的前端敞开。

发明详述
根据本发明首先看示出去毛刺刀具的图1和图2。去毛刺刀具10具有限定从前到后方向的纵向转动轴线12,并且包括圆柱形刀架14。在刀架14的前端有刀片槽(insert pocket)16,切削刀片18可滑动地保留在刀片槽16中能在缩回位置和伸出位置之间横向移动。在下文将详细描述通过保持部件20防止切削刀片18脱出刀片槽16,并且通过弹簧22在刀片槽16中装载切削刀片18,其中在弹簧22的其中一端接合切削刀片18而另一端接合装载部件24。弹簧22是具有螺旋状圈的螺旋状压缩弹簧。装载部件24和保持部件20在形状上相似,都有圆柱形螺丝头26和比螺丝头26的直径更小的圆柱形杆28,以至于在杆28和螺丝头26间形成径向延伸的环纹表面30。应知使用出现在整个说明书和权利要求书的方向性用语例如“前”、“后”、“前向”、“后向”等作为方便的用语以区分相对彼此的各种表面。尽管参考特定的元件方位这些术语是有意义的,但它们用于说明,并非想限制所附权利要求的范围。

在主体38的外表面44沿部分第二虚线48形成具有卡槽面62和支撑面64的弹簧卡槽60并且弹簧卡槽60向表面40敞开。在与第二虚线48垂直的横切面中,卡槽面62为凹弧形。位于弹簧卡槽60的前向端的支撑面64垂直于第二虚线48并且从外表面44延伸至卡槽面62。

现在看图9至图10。切削刀片18位于刀片槽16中,副体36的外表面80至少部分地邻接副腔面94、主体38的外表面44邻接主腔面90并且保持卡槽50的卡槽底部54面向刀架14的前端。保持部件20位于保持孔100中,其头部26以螺纹方式接合保持孔100的螺纹部分104。保持部件20的杆28突进刀架14的主腔84以及切削刀片18的保持卡槽50中。弹簧22和装载部件24位于弹簧孔106中,装载部件24将弹簧22挡在弹簧孔106内。因此,装载部件24作为插塞来防止弹簧22从弹簧孔106中退出。装载部件24的头部26以螺纹方式接合弹簧孔106的螺纹段110,且装载部件24的杆28凸进弹簧22的螺旋线圈中。
通过在切削刀片18的支撑面64和装载部件24的环纹表面30之间压缩的弹簧22将切削刀片18装载进去毛刺刀具10中。因此,弹簧22偏压并给切削刀片18施加预定的力以促使其径向地向外移动。通过调节装载部件24的位置可调节由弹簧22所施加的力。这通过向内或向外“扭转”装载部件24实现。
由保持部件20的杆28分别邻接保持卡槽50的前向壁58和后向壁56来限制切削刀片18在缩回和伸出位置之间的横向滑动。在伸出位置(图10),切削刀片18的切削部34从主孔92突出超过外刀具表面82。在去毛刺刀具10中,由保持部件20的杆28邻接靠住保持卡槽50的各个侧壁52来限制切削刀片18绕腔轴线88在给定方向上的旋转。
总而言之,沿轴线滑动支撑于第二物体内的第一物体不可能在其中被卡住,其垂直于轴线的宽度越小,沿轴线的长度越大。在去毛刺刀具10中,当切削刀片18在刀片槽16中滑动时,切削刀片18的主体44和副体80的外表面是由刀片槽16滑动支撑的表面。能滑动支撑的去毛刺刀具10的副体的外表面80以及其较小的直径D2和全部的横向范围(例如,垂直于转动轴线12)都是提高切削刀片18抗卡稳定性的因素。
如在图10中所示,弹簧22与切削刀片18并排并且向后延伸没有超出切削刀片18的后向端112的这一事实是有利的,由于切削刀片18和弹簧22的结合体的横向范围仅是切削刀片的横向范围,这一范围比在现有技术刀具中弹簧向后延伸超过切削刀片的后向端的横向范围少了很多。因此,本发明的去毛刺刀具10的刀具直径DT比现有技术中弹簧向后延伸超出切削刀片后向端的去毛刺刀具可做的更小,以使其对小直径的孔去毛刺。而且,如上文所述,弹簧22的偏置力是可调节的。
从图1、2、9及10可以理解,本发明的去毛刺刀具10的“去毛刺机构”也就是上文所述的切削刀片18、弹簧22、装载部件24以及保持部件20被局限在刀架14的小区域。本领域普通技术人员明白保持孔100并不限制穿过刀架14的前表面98,并且因此以如上文所述的去毛刺刀具10中的方式,通过形成刀片槽16、保持孔100、弹簧孔106将“去毛刺机构”局限在任何需要的刀架内是简单的设计。
尽管本发明已被描述到一定程度的特征,应该理解在没有偏离下文权利要求的本发明的范围的情况下,可做各种变更和更改。

Claims (5)

1.一种切削刀片(18),包括:
大体上圆柱形的主体(38),
切削部分(34),位于所述主体(38)的前向端,
大体上圆柱形的副体(36),其从所述主体(38)的后向端向后延伸,
