Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及用于产品的喷雾剂分配器阀,特别涉及用于诸如泡沫之类的湿固化产品的分配器阀。
背景技术
已发现,湿固化产品,例如湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫,在家庭和商务中具有广泛的应用。这些泡沫是优良的填充物和绝缘体。它们通常装在有聚丙烯分配器阀的喷雾剂罐内。这些阀的问题是湿气可能通过阀迁移并进入喷雾剂罐内。一旦进入罐内部,湿气就会使泡沫固化,并削弱阀的功能。如果罐不是竖立着存放,罐中的内容物就会包围阀部件,那么这个问题会更加严重。迁移路径更短,并且当泡沫在阀部件周围固化时,它将干扰阀的操作,将阀密封住。
发明内容
本发明的优选实施方式是用于湿固化泡沫的用填充玻璃的聚烯烃制成的分配器阀。在优选实施例中,聚烯烃是高密度聚乙烯。聚乙烯优选具有约2%和约40%之间的玻璃含量,较佳地,玻璃含量在约10%和约30%之间,最好在约15%和约25%之间。优选实施方式的阀部件比现有技术的聚丙烯阀部件更能抵抗由于湿气渗透造成的损坏。该优选实施例的阀部件的粘附性比 现有技术的聚丙烯阀部件低,因此就容器的内容物无意中在容器内固化而言,不太可能粘附在阀部件上,并干扰阀的操作。因此,根据本发明原理的阀的实施方式可以延长由喷雾剂罐喷洒的聚氨酯泡沫和其它湿固化的或受湿气影响的产品的保存期限。
本发明提供一种用于喷洒湿固化的泡沫物质的改进的阀,所述改进包括:置于容器中的湿固化泡沫;和与所述湿固化泡沫相通的阀部件,所述阀部件由填充玻璃的聚烯烃制成,且玻璃的含量在10%~30%之间,足以防止当容器处于非直立位置时由于湿固化的泡沫物质无意中在容器中固化而导致的粘附造成所述阀在关闭位置的损坏,所述固化可干扰阀部件的操作。
本发明还提供一种用于从加压的容器中喷洒湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫物质的改进的阀,该阀包括阀部件和密封件,所述改进包括:置于加压的容器中的湿固化泡沫;和与所述湿固化泡沫相通的阀部件,所述阀部件由填充玻璃的聚烯烃制成,且玻璃的含量在10%~30%之间,以有效防止当容器处于非直立位置时所述阀在关闭的位置由于阀部件和密封件周围可湿固化的泡沫物质无意中固化而引起损坏,所述固化可干扰所述阀部件的操作。
本发明还提供一种用于湿固化泡沫的改进的喷雾器,该喷雾器包括具有喷雾阀的罐,所述喷雾阀包括阀部件和密封件以用于在压力下从所述罐中喷洒湿固化泡沫,所述改进包括:置于所述加压的罐中的湿固化泡沫;和置于所述罐中与湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫相通的阀部件,所述阀部件由化学方法偶联的填充玻璃的聚烯烃制成,且具有在10%~30%之间的足够的玻璃含量,以有效防止当容器处于非直立位置时所述阀在关闭的位置上损坏,这样当容器处于非直立位置时使容器中湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫无意中固化也不会使所述阀在相对密封件的关闭的位置上损坏和干扰所述阀部件的操作。

具体实施方式
根据本发明原理构造的分配器阀的优选实施方式,在图1中用20表示。分配器阀20包括密封件24中的阀部件22。阀部件22具有第一端26和第二端28,以及中央通道30部分地延伸穿过这两端。若干个开口32延伸穿透阀部件22,并与中央通道30相通。开口被密封件24覆盖,但是当阀部件22偏转时,在阀部件22和密封件24之间形成空隙,使受压的内容物可以在阀部件22和密封件之间穿过开口32并从通道30出来,从而离开容器。
根据本发明的原理,阀部件22由填充玻璃的聚烯烃制成。发明人认为填充玻璃的聚乙烯比现有技术的聚丙烯阀部件或其它合适的聚合物材料有更好的抗粘附性。
发明人还发现化学方法偶联的填充玻璃的聚烯烃以及具体的填充玻璃的聚乙烯比现有技术的阀部件的粘附性低,就泡沫无意中在容器内固化而言,它不太可能粘在阀部件上,并干扰阀的操作。
聚乙烯优选为高密度聚乙烯。聚乙烯优选具有约2%至约40%之间的玻璃含量,较佳地,玻璃含量在约10%至约30%之间,最好在约20%至约30%之间。
因此,优选实施方式的阀部件可更好地抗湿气的渗透,对例如聚氨酯之类的湿固化泡沫,具有更小的粘附性。于是,即使是在所述阀所用的罐没有正确保存的时候,根据本发明的阀部件构造的阀较少会损坏,并提供更长的产品保存期限。
实施例1-湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫组分的罐配备有不同塑料制成的阀部件。这些罐倒着放在室温和相对湿度为90-100%的环境中。每周都检查每种类型的三个罐,并评价罐是完全可工作、堵塞但是可工作,还是堵塞了。当样本的所有三个罐都损坏时,可以确定为损坏。试验结果在表1中给出。
实施例2-湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫组分的罐配备有不同塑料制成的阀部件。每种类型的16个罐倒放在120°、相对湿度为80%的环境中持续11周。在11周结束时检查这些罐,以确定阀是堵塞了还是能工作。表2给出结果。
该试验表明用填充玻璃的聚乙烯(10%到20%)制成的阀具有最少的堵塞阀的数量。
实施例3-湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫组分的罐配备有不同塑料制成的大的阀部件。每种类型的22个罐盖中充满水,倒着放在环境中。周期性地测试每种类型中的两个罐,并记录阀是否工作、是否堵住但还能挣脱,或者是否损坏了。表3给出了结果。
实施例4-湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫组分的罐配备有不同塑料制成的小的阀部件。每种类型的22个罐盖中充满水,倒着放在环境中。周期性地测试每种类型中的两个罐,以确定阀是否工作、是否堵住但还能挣脱,或者是否损坏了。表4给出了结果。

该试验表明采用不同的密封材料,填充玻璃的聚乙烯提供了改进的性能。
实施例7-湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫组分的罐配备有不同塑料制成的阀部件。每种类型的罐盖中充满水,倒着放在130°F的环境中(以加速阀的堵塞)。填充20%玻璃的聚乙烯与聚丙烯和在密封件上采用抗堵塞涂层的常规阀进行比较。周期性地测试每种类型的两个罐,以确定阀是否工作、是否堵住但还能挣脱,或者是否损坏了。表7给出了结果。
该试验表明填充玻璃的聚乙烯在常规阀和有润滑密封件的常规阀不能工作后仍能继续工作。
实施例8-湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫组分的罐配备有不同塑料制成的枪阀(gun valve)(竖直打开的)部件。每种类型的16个罐盖中充满水,倒着放在130°F的环境中。周期性地测试每种类型的两个罐,并记录阀是否工作、是否堵塞但还能挣脱,或者是否损坏了。两个罐都堵塞或损坏时可以确定为损坏。表8给出了结果。
*由于材料的弱化导致杆故障
该试验表明填充玻璃的聚乙烯在有肋状物和没有肋状物的结构下均具有的优势。
实施例9-湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫组分的罐配备有不同塑料制成的枪阀(竖直打开的)部件。每种类型的12至16个罐盖中充满水,倒着放在130°的环境中。周期性地测试每种类型的罐,并记录阀是否工作、是否堵塞但还能挣脱,或者是否损坏了。罐都堵塞或损坏时可以确定为损坏。下面的表9给出了结果,其中显示一些标准的阀仅在6天后就第一次堵塞,且11天后标准的阀都堵塞了,而用填充20%玻璃的聚乙烯阀部件构成的阀测试20天后仍没有堵塞。所有的填充20%玻璃的聚乙烯阀部件都比标准的部件运行时间长。塑料采用的是从RTP公司获得的703CC化学方法偶联的填充20%玻璃的聚乙烯,其具有大约2.5ft.lbs/英寸的冲击强度(缺口)和大约0.04%的吸水性。
在所进行的试验中,填充玻璃的聚乙烯总是性能最好的,并且只有一种其它材料-乙缩醛-在某些条件下接近填充玻璃的聚乙烯的性能。填充玻璃的聚乙烯阀杆在各种环境、不同的阀尺寸和不同的密封材料的条件下,都表现出超越其它材料阀杆的惊人的抗堵塞的性能(即,距离初次堵塞的时间更长,且距离阀损坏的时间更长)。甚至,与带有抗堵塞涂层的常规阀相比,填充玻璃的聚乙烯也显示出更强的抗堵塞的性能。
虽然优选实施例和示例以及试验的描述主要集中在湿固化的泡沫上,特别是湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫上,但是本发明并不局限于此,并且本发明的阀和具有本发明阀的容器可用于其它由喷雾剂罐喷洒的湿固化产品,甚至可以用于不是湿固化的而是易受到湿气渗透影响的产品。
Claims (8)
1.一种用于从容器中喷洒湿固化的泡沫物质的改进的阀,包括:
与所述湿固化的泡沫物质相通的阀部件,所述阀部件由填充玻璃的聚烯烃制成,且玻璃的含量在10%~30%之间,足以防止当容器处于非直立位置时由于湿固化的泡沫物质无意中在容器中固化而导致的粘附造成所述阀在关闭位置的损坏,所述固化可干扰阀部件的操作。
2.根据权利要求1所述的改进的阀,其中所述聚烯烃为聚乙烯。
3.根据权利要求2所述的改进的阀,进一步包括可使所述阀关闭的氯丁橡胶密封件。
4.一种用于从加压的容器中喷洒湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫物质的改进的阀,该阀包括阀部件和密封件,包括:
与所述湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫物质相通的阀部件,所述阀部件由填充玻璃的聚烯烃制成,且玻璃的含量在10%~30%之间,以有效防止当容器处于非直立位置时所述阀在关闭的位置由于阀部件和密封件周围可湿固化的聚氨酯泡沫物质无意中固化而引起损坏,所述固化可干扰所述阀部件的操作。
5.根据权利要求4所述的改进的阀,其中所述聚烯烃为聚乙烯。
6.根据权利要求5所述的改进的阀,其中所述密封件为氯丁橡胶密封件。
7.一种用于从容器中喷洒湿固化的泡沫物质的改进的喷雾阀,所述喷雾阀包括与置于所述容器中的湿固化的泡沫物质相通的阀部件和密封件,所述阀部件由化学方法偶联的填充玻璃的聚烯烃制成,且具有在10%~30%之间的足够的玻璃含量,以有效防止当容器处于非直立位置时所述阀部件在关闭的位置上损坏,这样当容器处于非直立位置时使容器中湿固化的泡沫物质无意中固化也不会使所述阀部件在相对密封件的关闭的位置上损坏和干扰所述喷雾阀的操作。
8.根据权利要求7所述的改进的喷雾阀,其中所述聚烯烃为聚乙烯。
