Abstract
本发明提供一种无针连接器以用于将药物添加到肠道外流体。该无针连接器包括适于接收注射器并且具有替代刺穿垫密封端口的止回阀的连接器。该止回阀包括被止回阀材料的张应力保持到位并且偏压成被关闭的弹性圆盘。当具有凸形Luer连接器的注射器或其它设备接合连接器并且流体压力被施加到止回阀时,弹性圆盘变形以允许药物通过连接器流入管道中并且因此流至病人。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于经由静脉内溶液将液体引入病人体内的医用连接器。并且更具体地,本发明涉及一种用于具有标准Luer锁类型连接的注射器或其它设备的无针连接。
背景技术
在治疗病人特别是需要在紧急状态下被照料的病人时,通常使用被静脉内地引入病人体内的药物。静脉内溶液,通常称为肠道外流体,通过已经被插入病人静脉中的管道和导管从容器或I.V.(静脉注射)袋供给。通过胶带条将导管固定到病人身体。需被供给的药物通常通过管道中的Y连接器被添加到肠道外流体。传统的作法是使用皮下注射器和针通过管道中的Y连接器中的被密封的进入端口注射流体。通常在端口处的密封件是普通乳胶制成的刺穿垫,当针被抽出时,对于有限次数的使用而言,它能够将其自身重新密封。
这种传统的作法的一个问题是,可能非常容易地从密封端口将针拉得松动。另一问题是被针刺及。试图将针插入端口中的护士不时地被针意外刺及。虽然护士被感染的危险性很小,如果针是新的和无菌的,该过程可能被减慢,直至将针复位。Lopez等在美国专利4,752,292中已经提出一种解决该问题的方案。
Lopez等的连接器假定针连接器能够被容易地联结到药物源。当必须使用经过测量的剂量时,更加经常地使用注射器,并且Lopez连接器不实用。
Haining在美国专利5,785,693中已经提出另一方案,其中弹簧致动阀被放置在I.V.管道上的Y连接器中。虽然是有用的,Haining的阀具有多个移动部件,例如阀杆和弹簧,它们可能变脏。此外,结构材料特别是弹簧必须是医用等级的材料。
本发明的目的在于提供一种无针连接器,它具有被简化的阀,以用于通过I.V.系统的Y连接器给药。
发明内容
在其最简单的形式中,本发明包括一种连接器,它适于接收注射器并且具有止回阀以替代刺穿垫用于密封端口。该止回阀包括被止回阀材料的张应力保持到位并且偏压成被关闭的弹性圆盘。当注射器或具有凸形Luer连接器的其它设备接合该连接器并且流体压力被施加到止回阀时,该弹性圆盘变形,这允许药物通过该连接器流入管道中并且因此流至病人。本发明可以被描述成用于向静脉内溶液添加流体的连接器,包括:
(a)具有上部空腔和下部空腔的柱形本体,所述上部空腔在上端处具有阀座;
(b)可靠地安装在所述空腔之间的阀杆;
(c)安装在所述阀杆上被朝向所述阀座偏压的弹性圆盘;
(d)所述弹性圆盘被通过所述第一端口流入所述本体中的流体的作用力从所述阀座移位。

为了详细描述优选实施例,读者可参考附图,其中相同的构件被赋予相同的数字以便于引用。
首先参考图1,其中示出静脉内流体给药系统。第一管道6A利用一端联结到肠道外溶液源(未示出)并且利用相对端联结到Y连接器1。第二管道6B在第一端处连接到Y连接器的下端并且在下端处连接到静脉内导管(未示出)。因为流体通过重力流被给药,方向上、下、上部和下部具有确定的意义。
Y连接器被示为具有三个连接位置或端口。第一端口20用于接收从注射器5注射的药物并且应该从水平方向向上倾斜以允许被注射的流体通过重力流入Y连接器和管道6B中。第二端口25连接到导管管道6B的端部。第三连接端口24用于连接到肠道外流体管道6A。第一端口2从Y连接器1以一定的角度延伸从而它关于竖直方向或者第三端口24小于90°。
刺穿垫通常提供到达Y连接器的可被再次密封的进口。为了替代刺穿垫的功能,在连接器1中设置阀,其细节在图2-8中示出。
现在参考图3-8,示出含有阀的端口20的构造。该阀包括柱形外壳2,该外壳在26处紧密地装配到Y连接器1上并且利用适当的接合剂而被固定到那里。阀被具有流动开口11的盘27划分成上部空腔21和下部空腔22。阀座23靠近上部空腔21的开口。阀杆3被可靠地安装在盘27中并且被保持凹口7保持到位。阀杆3延伸到空腔21和22的每一个中。弹性圆盘13位于阀杆3的上端处,该圆盘具有接触阀座23以将阀密封的表面10。该端口的上端包括套筒4,该套筒形成阀容积8并且在上部终端处具有凸形Luer连接器9。
现在参考图6-8,注射器5被示为连接到Y连接器1的端口20。注射器5包括形成流体腔室18的套筒15。柱塞16位于套筒15中并且包括柱塞密封件17。注射器中的螺纹14接合套筒的上端上的Luer连接器9并且向下压迫注射器上的Luer延伸部19以基本上填充阀容积8。这允许最大化的输送流体,使得在进入端口20中的残余最少。当柱塞15被按压时,迫使流体从流体腔室18流入阀中并且弹性圆盘13变形远离阀座23并且允许流体流经流路12。流体的流动可以利用箭头示出。当流体停止流动时,任何的反压力将迫使弹性圆盘13抵靠阀座23并且密封该连接。
本发明的前面的描述涉及本发明特别优选的实施例以用于解释和示意。本领域技术人员可以清楚,在不背离本发明范围和精神的前提下,能够对该设备做出很多修改和改变。因此随后的权利要求涵盖属于如由权利要求限定的本发明范围中的所有的等价的修改和改变。
Claims (3)
1.一种医用连接器,包括:
(a)具有第一端口和第二端口并且被具有开口的盘分成上部空腔和下部空腔的柱形本体,所述上部空腔在上端处具有阀座;
(b)在中部附近具有凹口并且通过所述凹口与所述盘接合而可靠地安装在所述空腔之间的阀杆;
(c)安装在所述阀杆上并且被朝向所述阀座偏压的弹性圆盘;
(d)所述弹性圆盘被通过所述第一端口流入所述本体中的流体的作用力从所述阀座移位。
2.根据权利要求1的医用连接器,还包括在所述本体上端上的凸形Luer连接以用于接合凹形Luer连接器。
3.一种用于将药物从注射器添加到静脉内流体的连接器,包括:
(a)中空柱形本体,它具有:
(i)在一端上的第一端口,用于将药物添加到静脉内流体,
(ii)在另一端上的第二端口,用于连接到被插入病人静脉中的导管,以及
(iii)在所述第一和第二端口中间的第三端口,用于联结到静脉内流体源;
(b)在所述第一端口的开口端上的Luer连接;
(c)固定在所述第一端口中的阀箱,所述阀箱被具有开口的盘分成上部空腔和下部空腔;
(d)所述上部空腔在上端处具有阀座;
(e)在中部附近具有凹口并且通过所述凹口与所述盘接合而被可靠地安装在所述空腔之间的阀杆;
(f)在所述阀杆上安装并且被朝向所述阀座偏压的弹性圆盘;
(g)所述弹性圆盘被通过所述第一端口流入所述本体中的流体的作用力从所述阀座移位。
