Abstract
一种离心式切片机有一个进料装置,把待切片的作物每次送进一个。送进装置有一个有一条通道的进料柜,通道有一个进口,位于切片机叶轮的中心,依靠重力把待切片的作物喂送到一个出口,这出口位于切片机叶轮周缘上的一个唯一的区域中。
Description
本发明涉及把作物整件送进离心式切片机的方法和装置的改进。
切削整体作物的离心式切片机在本专业的技术领域中已为人所熟知。市埸上已有供应的一种乌尔谢尔(Urschel)CC型切片机,系由(美国)印第安那州瓦尔帕来索市的乌尔谢尔实验室公司(Urschel Laboratories,Inc,Valparaiso,Indiana)制造并发售。虽然乌尔谢尔CC型(Urschel Model CC)离心式切片机主要是为切马铃薯条而设计,但也能把许多其他作物加工成条片,其中包括生苹果,甜菜根,蘑菇等等。
在离心式切片机,诸如乌尔谢尔CC型切片机运转时,作物进入一个旋转式叶轮,被挤到一个切片头组合件的内表面上,切片头里有八个独立的切片头和刀片。当作物从每一片刀片中平稳而不断地通过时,便产生一个切片,这样便可以在一个非常短的时间内加工出许多切片。
在加工某种产品时,例如加工苹果切片,非常希望在切片后,有一个单层的切片。也就是每一个切片能在传送器上铺平,互不重叠或堆成一堆。做到这一点便可基本上消灭了簇聚,成品的质量就可达到最佳。
虽然乌尔谢尔CC型之类的离心式切片机对苹果加工很好,但假如每一次加工超过一个苹果时,就难以保持全程以单层通过。因为离心叶轮必须具有一定的旋转速度,甚至在降低工作能力只有一个出口的情况下,也仍然难于从一个出口拦截切片列为单层。
美国专利US4,206,671号公开了一种切片机,它将多个作物排成单行向杯状叶轮进给,同时单行作物一个一个地推挤到旋轮叶周边。它的目的是避免作物的损坏和提高生产率,但它不是离心式切片机。
因此,在这个技术领域中要求有一种离心切片机,既有已知离心切片机的优点,而又可以降低通过量,因而可以拦截通过全程的切片把它们铺成单层。
切片机叶片应该只在固定的时间间隔中接触待切片的作物,防止从每一块叶片的输出重叠。这就要求在一个时间内,切片机中只有一个作物个体,只在前面一个切片完全切开后,才供给一个新料。
在适应上述限制的切片机进料的传统技术中,要求按一定时间间隔作定时进料。这个时间间隔应该是最大作物个体切片所需时间,而不是平均尺寸的作物个体所需时间,这样方可避免输出物的重叠。
这样造成的效率降低,可以用本说明书所揭示的简单而完全可靠的发明最有效地给予克服。用本发明的方法切片的质量从厚度,均匀性和废料率来讲都是优异的,因为作物不会在切片机内打转。还可以对切片机的速度作适度的调节,以适应在任何实际的制造作业中都会遇到的后续工序的加工要求,而在切片质量上不会有所降低。
本发明的对离心式切片机进料的方法,该切片机具有一个带有多个叶片的旋转叶轮,该叶轮和一个具有多个切片刀片的固定元件配合工作,该方法包括:
a)将多个作物个体垂直向下地排成单行,一个挨一个地向杯状的叶轮的中部送进,然后从垂直的方向沿着一条倾斜的通道进到水平的方向;同时
b)将作物个体单行中的第一个向旋转叶轮的周边推挤,拼到刀片中去。
完成该方法的装置的特点是,它包括,
a)一个将作物个体垂直向下送进的装置,它具有一条其尺寸正好适合将排成单行的作物个体送进的通道,
b)通道的形状和位置做成从旋转叶轮的轴向中部的垂直方向倾斜地沿一弯曲路线伸展,至水平方向由叶轮伸出,
c)位于叶轮周缘上的通道出口,它一次只将一个作物个体沿水平方向送往切片。
图1为应用于离心式切片机的本发明的装置的俯视图。

诸如(美国)印第安那州瓦尔帕来孛市的乌尔谢尔实验室公司制造的乌尔谢尔CC型离心式切片机10,有一个固定切片头组合件12,一般形成一个杯形的罩体,其中有一个叶轮14,由一个依靠适当的驱动装置18带动的传动轴驱动旋转。离心式切片机的其他部件都是熟知类型的,并在市埸上有售。因此,本说明书仅对为了解本发明所必须的部件进行说明。
叶轮中安装若干叶片20,在乌尔谢尔CC型切片机中共有五片这种叶片。在这种切片机中,每一块叶片把前面的单个作物P推送,诸如待切片的马铃薯,把每个马铃薯推到若干固定刀片22上。在乌尔谢尔CC型切片机中,在切片头组合件上有八片刀片,每块刀片由一个刀夹24适当夹定。另有相应的八个出口镶块26,因此在正常运转时,叶轮叶片20每一次向它的四周边缘推挤五个马铃薯,使它们由八个刀片分别切片,从而若干切片S从出口镶块26和刀片22之间向外通过。上面所叙述的是乌尔谢尔CC型切片机,旋转方向如图1中的箭头所示,实现对马铃薯和其他作物的高速,高通过量的离心切片。
本发明对离心式切片机的改进与进料有关,以求取得叶轮在相等旋转速度下降低通过量,从而在一个时间内只对作物的一个个体作切片。更具体讲,是一种离心切片机,在它的供料管30的下方设有一个进料装置28。供料管在切片机叶轮14的中心上方的中心处,但也可能摆开,去和叶轮接触。作物的个体可以从一个适当料源,诸如料仓之类,依靠重力向下方的供料管供给。对供料管的直径经过选定,从而使待切片的单个作物排成单行供入。
在进料管30的下面,有一个固定在叶轮面上的进料柜32。这进料柜由两个塑料模压的半部34和36拚装而成。每个半部用一个支架38和适当的螺钉40固定在叶轮14的表面上。两个半部利用螺栓螺母组42装配在一起。在进料柜组装以后,在它里面确定了一个通道44。这通道有顶部的开口46,和叶轮的中心同心,出口孔48在叶轮的外周缘上。通道44在水平面上逆叶轮运动的方向观看时是弯曲的,如图1所示,如从图2观看时,则是从垂直方向向着水平方向弯曲。有一块推料板50,用金属或其它硬化材料制造,用适当的螺母螺栓组52固定在模铸塑料进料柜半部36上,把作物个体P向着刀片22推送,在每一个刀片的位置上,形成切片S。通道44内部的尺寸,也只允许作物的个体以单行的形式进入,也就是每个作物的个体单个进料,不致造成挤塞。
采用本发明后,离心切片机的叶轮可以以它的最高速度旋转,也就是约每分钟250转而消灭浪费,如苹果之类的作物(虽然并不限定苹果)可以利用重力,通过通道44作单行进料。当叶轮14高速旋转时,作物P的个体被向刀片22推挤,产生切片,然后被拦截并铺成单层,其速度使切片机后续的加工装置有能力接受。换句话说,传统的切片机可以通过本发明,把通过量降低,使之和切片机后续的加工装置的通过速度协调。
在平面中将通道44弯曲成如图1所示,使推送件50和每个刀片20之间形成一个小于或等于90°的α角,如不改装的叶轮叶片20所能形成的。
假如将切片机按传统的方式运转,仅把进料装置28除去便可以了。本发明最好和1983年10月24日提交的为本申请人所有的美国申请案第544.971号中揭示的单层铺放装置结合使用。
Claims (13)
1、一种向离心式切片机进料的方法,该切片机(10)具有一个带有多个叶片的旋转叶轮(14),该叶轮和一个具有多个切片刀片(22)的固定元件配合工作,该方法包括:
将多个作物排成单行向杯状叶轮进给,同时单行作物一个个地推挤到旋转叶轮周边,
其特征在于,
多个作物个体是垂直向下地排成单行,一个挨一个地向叶轮(14)的中部送进,然后从垂直的方向沿一条倾斜的通道到水平的方向。
2、一种如权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,其中作物个体的送进和推挤分别依靠重力和离心力实现。
3、一种把作物个体自动地向一台离心式切片机连续送进的装置,该切片机具有一个带有通常接受多个待切片个体的轴向中部的旋转叶轮(14),和一个带有多个刀片(22)的固定切片头组合件,该装置的特征在于,它包括,
a)一个将作物个体垂直向下送进的装置,它具有一条其尺寸正好适合将排成单行的作物个体送进的通道(44),
b)通道(44)的形状和位置做成从旋转叶轮(14)的轴向中部的垂直方向倾斜地沿一弯曲路线伸展,至水平方向由叶轮伸出,
c)位于叶轮周缘上的通道出口,它一次只将一个作物个体沿水平方向送往切片。
4、一种如权利要求3的装置,其特征在于,送进装置包括有一个送料柜(32),它包含有通道(44),送料柜(32)固定在叶轮(14)上,并随叶轮旋转。
5、一种如权利要求4的装置,其特征在于,送料柜(32)是由分开制造而刚性地装配一起的两个半部所组成。
6、一种如权利要求5的装置,其特征在于,送料柜(32)的通道(44)的末端,有一个硬化的推送件(50),用于推送待切片的作物个体。
7、一种如权利要求6的装置,其特征在于,推送件(50)的一个表面和每个刀片之间的夹角小于或等于90°。
