Abstract
La invención descrita proporciona un dispositivo de inserción transeptal que es adecuado para facilitar la punción transeptal precisa y segura de un septo interauricular cardíaco. El dispositivo de inserción transeptal incluye una funda que define al menos un lumen en la misma, uno o más globos de posicionamiento que están conectados a un extremo distal de la funda, un miembro de punción colocado de forma móvil dentro del por lo menos un lumen y un globo de miembro de punción ubicado en el miembro de punción. La funda tiene uno o más orificios de desinflado para desinflar el uno o más globos de posicionamiento. El globo de miembro de punción, cuando se infla, es capaz de sellar el uno o más orificios de desinflado en la funda, lo que permite el inflado del uno o más globos de posicionamiento. Cuando el miembro de punción se mueve hacia la fosa oval, el globo de miembro de punción inflado se aleja de los orificios de desinflado, lo que permite que se desinflen los globos de posicionamiento.
