Abstract
Un dispositivo de inserción transeptal incluye una funda que define un lumen y tiene un extremo distal que está más cerca del tabique interauricular cardíaco de un paciente, al menos un globo conectado al extremo distal de la funda, en el que dicho al menos un globo, cuando inflado, sobresale y se extiende más allá del extremo distal de la funda, evitando la perforación accidental del tabique interauricular cardíaco y estabilizando el dispositivo de inserción transeptal contra la fosa oval del tabique interauricular cardíaco y un dilatador colocado dentro del lumen. Dicho al menos un globo está conectado a dicho al menos un hipotubo a través del cual se infla o desinfla dicho al menos un globo mediante gas o fluido que fluye a través de dicho al menos un hipotubo.
