Abstract
Un método y una planta para recuperar fosfato a partir de un material de biomasa, el material de biomasa es adecuadamente un lodo activado de desecho de un proceso de tratamiento de aguas residuales aguas arriba que incluye un proceso biológico de eliminación de P. El método incluye una etapa de digestión anaeróbica y etapas para recuperar corrientes independientes ricas en PO4 y Mg, o ricas en PO4 y NH4, de esta manera aumenta la cantidad de P recuperado y se evita la formación de estruvita en el digestor anaeróbico y equipos accesorios del mismo, tales como tuberías.
