LA PRESENTE INVENCIÓN ES UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE OBTENCIÓN DE UN POLÍMERO FOTOCATALÍTICO, QUE COMPRENDE MEZCLAR TRIHIDRÓXIDO DE ALUMINIO (ATH) Y UNA PARTÍCULA FOTOCATALIZADORA EN UN DISOLVENTE POLAR A UN PH ENTRE 5 Y 7 EN AGITACIÓN, AÑADIR UN SILANO O UN SILOXANO, AGITAR DURANTE UN TIEMPO DE 100 MIN A TEMPERATURA ENTRE 30 Y 50ºC, EXTRAER LA FASE SÓLIDA FORMADA Y SECAR PARA OBTENER UN ADITIVO FOTOCATALÍTICO, AÑADIR DICHO ADITIVO FOTOCATALÍTICO A UNA RESINA ACRÍLICA O POLIÉSTER Y POLIMERIZAR. EL PROCEDIMIENTO PUEDE SER APLICADO SOBRE CUALQUIER OTRO TIPO DE BASE POLIMÉRICA, COMO VINÍLICA, FLUOROPOLÍMEROS, POLIAMIDAS, POLICARBONATOS, POLIETILENOS O EPOXÍDICOS. OTRO ASPECTO DE LA INVENCIÓN ES EL ADITIVO FOTOCATALÍTICO QUE SE OBTIENE. EL POLÍMERO RESULTANTE PRESENTA HOMOGENEIDAD CATALÍTICA, OPERANDO LAS PARTÍCULAS FOTOCATALÍTICAS EN TODAS LAS SUPERFICIES DEL MATERIAL CON LA MISMA ACTIVIDAD
