Abstract

Un método y una composición para la suplementación dietética de rumiantes con ácido fólico de tal manera que asegura que el ácido fólico no será consumido por las bacterias del rumen y en cambio sí pasará al intestino y al suero sanguíneo del animal, esto con el fin de mejorar la producción de leche. El ácido fólico en agua es mezclado con una sal metálica soluble en agua de cinc, cobre, hierro, o manganeso, o mezclas de los mismos.
