Abstract

Esta invención se relaciona con un proceso hidrometalúrgico para la recuperación y separación de elementos preciosos, base o raros, valiosos tales como los metales del grupo de platino (PGM), oro o plata, y otros metales base y raros valiosos tales como níquel, cobalto, cobre, elementos de tierras raras (REE), itrio y escandio, así como también uranio, torio, manganeso, zinc, cadmio, molibdeno, titanio, estaño, y otros elementos menores tales como vanadio, germanio y galio a partir de un material de alimentación que comprende minerales, concentrados y otros materiales. Particularmente, el proceso comprende la eliminación cuantitativa de elementos base, raros y de ganga adicionales para aumentar la eficiencia del tratamiento adicional de los sólidos para la recuperación y/o reciclado de metales valiosos y/o la separación de metales valiosos a partir de los residuos de lixiviación a presión y puede integrarse en uno o más procesos existentes de extracción de elementos valiosos.
