Description

Method for the preparation of a nitric acid of the 2 <B>. </B> 3-Oxy-naphthoic acid anillds. It has been found that the anilide of the 2nd 3-Oxynaplitoesälire, which according to the von Schöpff, Ber. <B> 25, </B> 2744 or also according to the method of German Patent Nos. 264527, 293897 </B> and <B> 295183 </B> can be represented by the action of sulfuric acid can easily be transferred into a previously unknown -.L # ionosulfosä.ure,

which can be used to obtain dyes.

This sulphonic acid, which contains the sulio group in the ss-oxynaplitoes-liure residue, forms a light-gray powder when dry. Your solution in hot water tends to solidify into a transparent gelatinous jelly after cooling. The alkali salts are easily soluble in water with a pale yellow color.

The proportions of quantities, the concentration of the sulfuric acid used and the temperature when this sulfonic acid is prepared can vary within wide limits.

  <I> Example: </I> 20 <B> kg </B> Y-oxynaphthoic anilide are stirred into about <B> 90 kg </B> sulfuric acid from about <B> 66 '</B> B6 and briefly heated to <B> 50 </B> to <B> 90 '</B> until everything is dissolved and a sample dissolves clearly in dilute soda solution.

By pouring the reaction mass cooled to 20 g # into a saline solution made from <B> 75 kg </B> table salt and <B> 300 kg </B> water, a voluminous, light gray precipitate is disfigured, which is filtered off and can be used directly as a paste after stirring several times with saline solution and filtering.
