Le châssis D du porte-outil, à son tour, est supporté par le coulisseau B et se compose de deux plaques Y maintenues à distance l'une de l'autre par des plaques d'écartement D Z D3 auxquelles elles sont rivées. Dans les bords inférieures des plaques Y sont ména gées des encoches D5 recevant l'axe C' d'un disque tranchant C constituant l'outil; elles sont disposées de manière que la poussée exercée sur l'outil pendant le travail appli que l'axe Ci contre le fond des encoches et l'empêche d'en sortir;
Le réglage de la position du châssis D par rapport au coulisseau B pour le réglage de la profondeur de coupe de l'aulil C a. lieu, lorsque le châssis est à, la, position cle travail, représentée au dessin, la tête E5 de la vis T; se trouvant alors à l'avant du rail < -l';
Tool holder for notching or cutting cardboard and the like. The object of the invention is a tool holder for a notching or cutting machine for cardboard and the like.
It comprises, like other known machine tool holders of the same type, a frame in which the tool is mounted e1; which can be moved along a machine rail. But it is characterized in that the frame, which can pivot around an axis, as well as a member in contact with this frame and the hand holding it in position are established - so that the thrust exerted by the frame on the organ during work has a normal direction garlic rail.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the tool holder.
Figs. 1 and 2 are two elevations, taken at 90 from each other.
The, machine, which the. above embodiment is applied, has a support A which can rotate 180 around a horizontal axis and at the bottom of which is a horizontal rail A 'along which a slider B runs. tool holder can be moved.
The rail. A1 has a trapezoidal vertical section; one of its faces is vertical, while the other is tilted from bottom to top from left to right; it passes through a cutout Bl, of the same shape, of the slider B. The inclined lateral faces of the slider B and of the rail Ai are held in contact by a horizontal clamping screw BZ carried by the support A and provided with a counter -nut B'x. In this way the slider B is supported by the rail A 'along, from which it can however be moved and then be secured in any position.
The frame D of the tool holder, in turn, is supported by the slide B and consists of two Y plates kept at a distance from each other by distance plates D Z D3 to which they are riveted. In the lower edges of the plates Y are formed notches D5 receiving the axis C 'of a cutting disc C constituting the tool; they are arranged so that the thrust exerted on the tool during work applies that the axis Ci against the bottom of the notches and prevents it from coming out;
in addition, this axis C1 is held in place in said notches by flat springs <B> C </B> which, however, allow it to be easily removed. This frame D is pi voted in D ', towards its anterior end, that is to say towards that located on the side where the tool C attacks the material, on a lower projection B3 presented by the slide B and penetrating between the two plates D '. It is in contact by a projection D51 of its posterior plate D5 with one of the arms of an elbow lever E forming the member which is mentioned in the introduction and pivoted at El on the slide B; the end of this arm is rounded.
On the other arm of the lever E acts a screw E "carried by this slide B and provided with a knurled head E3, as well as a lock nut E @. The contact, on the one hand, between the end round of the lever E and the plate D3, on the other hand, between the screw E \ and this lever E is constantly maintained by a spring F bearing on B and; acting on a link D \ 1 of the plate D 'of the .frame D.
Adjusting the position of the frame D in relation to the slide B for adjusting the cutting depth of the garlic C a. place, when the frame is at, the key working position, shown in the drawing, the head E5 of the screw T; then being at the front of the rail <-l ';
thanks to the spring F the position of the frame D and the tool C is completely determined, whatever the direction of the adjustment, by the position given to the screw E2. On the other hand, the setting of the. position. of the slide B along this rail: 1 'is performed after we have rotated the support _I key <B> 180' </B> around its horizontal axis and that the tke of screw B "is then in turn in front of this support.
During the work. thrust exerted on the tool C is transmitted to the slide B by the. projection D31 in engagement with lever E rusted worm against any movement from right to right by screw E \, so that it cannot disturb the adjustment of tool C. In addition, it is transmitted to this channel. aix B so as to exert only a vertical thrust. normal to the rail q '. whatever the position-given to the frame D. The same machine can naturally include several tools, the tool holders being mounted on the rail A1 which is; common to all.
