Collier pour harnais. La présente invention se rapporte à un collier pour harnais comprenant un corps en cuir renforcé par une armature. Ce collier est caractérisé en ce que cette armature, qui est métallique, a la forme d'une gouttière recourbée en fer à cheval, tandis que le corps, en cuir, présente un bourrelet destiné à péné trer dans .le canal de l'armature pour assurer la fixation de celle-ci audit corps.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, quatre formes d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.

Le collier représenté en fig. 1 comprend un corps A en cuir et une armature métal lique B; celle-ci est représentée plus en dé tail aux fig. 2 à 6; elle a la forme générale d'une gouttière courbée en fer à cheval, a et b sont les deux branches de ce fer. La sec tion droite du conduit de l'armature est re présentée aux fig. 4 et 5: on voit que les bords libres sont rapprochés de façon à en serrer fortement entre eux un bourrelet égale ment en fer à cheval prévu sur le corps en cuir A.
De cette façon, on peut réunir le corps à l'armature sans boulon ni rivet. c est une fourrure se plaçant dans le conduit de l'armature en la parie médiane de celle-ci, et d est une plaque extérieure de recouvre ment se disposant au même endroit. Ces trois pièces, armature, fourrure et pièce de recou vrement, sont fixées entre elles par l'étrier e sur les deux pas des vis duquel s'engagent les écrous f (fig. 6).
L'armature représentée aux fig. 7 à 10 est analogue à la précédente, mais, ainsi qu'on peut le voir aux sections droites des fig. 9 et 10, sa paroi est double, les deux parties formant celle-ci étant venues ensemble de fabrication et la parie intérieure ayant été emboutie dans l'autre. L'armature des fig. 11 à 14 présente une fente C-D à cha cune de ses extrémités; l'extrémité elle- même est coupée en biseau F sur 'une lon gueur de vingt centimètres à peu près. Cette disposition a pour but de faciliter l'entrée du bourrelet de cuir dans le canal de l'ar mature.
L'armature des fig. 15 à 19 est formée de deux parties 1 et 2 constituant chacune l'une des branches du fer à cheval. Ces par ties sont reliées bout à bout par un noyau 3 à section droite en<B>U</B> disposé à l'intérieur du conduit de l'armature et à cheval sur les deux moitiés de celle-ci, ainsi que par une bague de serrage 4. Dans la variante de fig. 19, 'l'armature également en deux parties a une double paroi comme l'armature des fi,-.<B>Il à</B> 14.

The collar shown in fig. 1 comprises a body A in leather and a metal frame B; this is shown in more detail in FIGS. 2 to 6; it has the general shape of a curved gutter in a horseshoe, a and b are the two branches of this shoe. The right section of the reinforcement duct is shown in figs. 4 and 5: it can be seen that the free edges are brought together so as to strongly clamp between them a bead also in a horseshoe provided on the leather body A.
In this way, the body can be joined to the frame without bolts or rivets. c is a furring placed in the duct of the frame in the middle part of the latter, and d is an outer covering plate placed in the same place. These three parts, frame, furring and covering part, are fixed together by the bracket e on the two threads of which the nuts f engage (fig. 6).
The frame shown in Figs. 7 to 10 is similar to the previous one, but, as can be seen from the straight sections of fig. 9 and 10, its wall is double, the two parts forming the latter having come together for manufacture and the inner part having been stamped into the other. The frame of fig. 11 to 14 has a C-D slot at each of its ends; the end itself is beveled F over a length of about twenty centimeters. The purpose of this arrangement is to facilitate the entry of the leather bead into the channel of the mature back.
The frame of fig. 15 to 19 is formed of two parts 1 and 2 each constituting one of the branches of the horseshoe. These parts are connected end to end by a core 3 with a straight section in <B> U </B> arranged inside the duct of the reinforcement and straddling the two halves of the latter, as well as by a clamping ring 4.
