Druekreduzierventil.
Pressure reducing valve. The present invention relates to a pressure reducing valve for reducing the pressure of compressed gases, in which the opening of the gas passage is effected by bolts which, for example, can be loosely or attached to another part. In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown.
The compressed gas (oxygen, hydrogen, acetylene, carbonic acid, nitrogen, etc.), the pressure of which is to be reduced, enters through the connection piece 1c and, as a result of the closure, can only penetrate to the nozzle lt. If the regulating screw Z, which is located in the valve cover m, is turned to the right, the adjusting spring n is loaded and presses the plate o with the membrane s and the washer ö against the loose regulating bolts p, only two of which are visible in the drawing are.
Instead of being loosely arranged, the bolts. can also be attached to the membrane plate ö or to the sleeve d.
The regulating bolts p pushed forwards by turning the regulating screw press on the sleeve d of the end bolt a. and in this way remove the locking bolt cx, which is provided with an exchangeable hard rubber seal (not visible), from the sealing cone or from the diameter h.
The gas that has since been held up at nozzle h now flows through a hole not visible in the drawing to the cavity t of the valve housing closed by the membrane and, with the outlet cock closed, pushes the membrane back into its original position as soon as the pressure of the inflowing Gases is large enough to overcome the tension of the adjusting spring n.
As a result of this backward movement of the diaphragm, the closing spring g presses the sleeve d with the closing bolt a back onto the closing nozzle 1a, where the gas flow interrupts again.
The more you load the adjusting spring n by turning the regulating screw l clockwise, the more pressure there is; required to push it back by means of the membrane. - '## @ run the adjusting spring 7a. appropriately loaded and the output cock is open; so the gas can leave the valve at reduced pressure. A manometer not visible in the drawing at this required pressure at r time, which can be regulated at will by more or less loading of the A spring n.
A high-pressure meter is attached to q (not shown in the drawing) so that the contents of the bottle can be determined at any time.
The replacement of the hard rubber cover in the end bolt a can be done very easily after simply unscrewing the cover i and the adjusting screw b in the valve connector e. Before doing this, it is advisable to screw the regulating screw l inwards a little to relieve the load on the locking bolt a zIZ. After the replacement, the regulating screw 1 is first turned back, after which the valve is ready for use again.
The usual burn-out protection is not shown in the drawing.
