Tielfachsteuerung für elektrische Bahnen finit motorisch bewegten Hauptschaltwalzen. Im Hauptpatent ist eine Vielfachsteue- rung für elektrische Bahnen beschrieben, bei der die Hauptschaltwalzen jedes Einzelfahr zeuges motorisch um ebensoviele Stufen be wegt werden, wie die von Hand bediente Steuerwalze des Zuges;
Nunmehr zieht der Sperrmagnet i -wieder die Klinke t an, schliesst mit dem Schalter s den Steuermotorstromkreis, der Motor a beginnt zu laufen; beim Einschalten der nächsten Hauptstufe steigt der Fahrmo- torenstrom, so dass das Relais 17 wieder den Kontakt 20 geöffnet hält; die Klinke t wird losgelassen und fällt, sobald der Einschnitt 1I den entsprechenden Weg zurückgelegt hat, in diesen ein. Dieses Spiel wiederholt sieh so oft, bis der Wanderkontakt v der Rück meldevorrichtung den Belag 1 verlassen hat;
Multiple control for electric railways finitely motorized main indexing drums. In the main patent, a multiple control for electric railways is described, in which the main switching rollers of each individual vehicle are moved by a motor through as many steps as the manually operated control roller of the train;
the latter contains two mutually insulated contact surfaces which are connected to opposite network poles. Furthermore, each motor-driven main switch drum is coupled with a feedback control device, by means of which the control motor is stopped again after the desired movement has been carried out and which also has two contact surfaces connected to opposing network poles.
In this control system described in the main patent, each switching step can be set from the driver and the permissible current cannot be prevented from being exceeded, for example when starting up. (unless the high-current holder comes into action and switches off the traction motors, which is particularly undesirable when starting up).
In accordance with the present additional invention, the approach of the train is automatically accomplished depending on the traction motor current by an electromagnetically operated locking device acting on the shaft of the main switching drum, the magnetic excitation of which is influenced by the traction motor current.
Through this locking device, the main shift drum and the control motor are stopped as soon as the drive motor current has reached the set maximum value, and are released again or switched on when the drive motor current subsequently falls below a certain, also set minimum limit. The special locking device coupled to the control motor in the non-automatic control according to the main patent is replaced by the locking device mentioned - influenced by the drive motor power.
This device has the advantage, among other things, that the number of control lines can be reduced considerably, since a control line does not have to be present for each switching stage of the main switch, as was previously the case. According to the invention, the magnetic excitation of the aforementioned locking device is influenced not only by the traction motor current but also by the current of the control motor when it is switched on in the starting direction of the traction motors.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment for the invention is shown schematically, in which those parts that do not relate to the subject matter of the invention, such as the reversing roller along with the associated control lines, are omitted.
The control roller i contains six positions, apart from the switch-off position A, in which the control rollers of the traveling carriages are, and the zero position 0 two main positions S and P for automatic starting, 8 for series connection, P for parallel connection of the traction motors , and also two intermediate positions HB and HP, which, in the case of series operation (HJ or parallel connection (I-Ip)), are used by the driver to intervene inhibiting the starting process. Apart from the simplified design of the control drum i.
and of the different meanings of the lines 1 and 2 going from it, the same is set up exactly as in the main patent, namely with the two lies m and u, which are connected to the different-pole lines + and -.
The control motor a with its two exciter windings <I> p </I> and <I> q </I> has remained unchanged compared to the example of the main patent, as has the back gear b, the slip clutch c, the shaft e Main shift drum, which is here directly coupled to your motor a, also the pawl <I> t, </I> on which the control motor holder s sits and which is moved by the magnet r,
as well as the two-coil relays g and la and finally the line couplings f. The ratchet wheel -ir is designed somewhat differently, and here, apart from the zero position 0, the switch positions I-NII of the main roller have twelve incisions. The feedback device Z has received a round shape and is significantly simplified compared to the main patent.
While the two slide rails x and connected to the different poles and the traveling brushes .t and v that slide on them have remained, the contact strips connected to lines 1 and \. 'Are considerably lengthened.
In the circuit of the latch magnet 7, the switching contact 20 of the current limit relay 17 is switched on. This has the exciter coil 21 through which the Fahrinotorenstroni flows and the exciter coil 32 that flows through the exciter coil 32 when starting in the same sense as the current of the control motor a. The coil <B> '</B> 1 is the holding coil, the coil 22 is the lifting coil. They act against the force of the spring 23, which seeks to close the contact 20.
Contact? 0 can also be briefly closed at any time from the driver's cab by closing contact B, so that the control of the main switching drum can be manually switched one step further. When the button B is depressed, the coil 13 is excited via the line B.
As soon as the contact 20 is closed, however, as a result of the curved path 24, the latching 25 between the core of the relay 18 and the spindle of the current limit relay 17 is released, so that the latter contacts the contact 20 again immediately opens, because the coil 22 as a result of Weiterersclialtens the main roller he is excited again.
The operation of the device will now be described. During the normal start-up, after setting the direction switch to forward travel, the driver asked to move the control drum i from the zero position (O <B>) </B> to the S position.
As a result, the control line 1 is connected to the line '.3 finite the negative pole (-) of the control circuit; the relays g and h strike to the left, and since the contact 20 is closed, the he excited locking magnet r releases the pawl t from the incision 0 of the ratchet wheel rr and closes the switch s.
This closes the circuit of the control motor a, due to the left deflection of the relay via the field winding q, and the motor starts to run. The coil 22 of the current limit relay 17 is excited and attracts the relay notch.
Shortly thereafter, the traction motors receive current, which also excites the coil 21, which excitation is sufficient to keep the relay contact 20 open even when the coil 22 is de-energized as soon as the traction motor current has exceeded a minimum value that can be set by means of the relay spring 23.
The winding r of the blocking magnet has also become de-energized, so that the pawl t falls into the incision I in the disc av as soon as it has got under the pawl, the switch s opening. The control is now at a standstill until the traction motor current has decreased to such an extent that coil 21 releases its armature and contact 20 is closed under the action of spring 23.
Now the locking magnet i pulls on the pawl t again, closes the control motor circuit with the switch s, the motor a starts to run; when the next main stage is switched on, the traction motor current increases so that the relay 17 again keeps the contact 20 open; the pawl t is released and falls into it as soon as the incision 1I has covered the corresponding path. This game repeats so often until the wandering contact v of the feedback device has left the surface 1;
the pawl t remains in the incision VI of the edge iv.
If the driver wants to switch from the series connection to the parallel connection of the traction motors, he sets the control roller i to the position P, whereby the control motor a and the latch magnet are switched on again and the device works automatically again until the starting stages VII- XII run through for the traction motors connected in parallel and the fabric motors in stage - XII are connected directly to the mains.
To turn off the traction motors, the control roller i is returned to the zero position, which is shown in the drawing; because the right-hand coils of the relays g and h are excited so that the control motor a. rotates in the opposite direction. The coil 22 remains de-energized, the contact 20 therefore always closed, so that the locking disk w can run back uninhibited and continuously.
If the driver has moved the crank to the S and P positions when starting the engine, he can slow down the acceleration of the train at any time or stop it temporarily by moving the crank to the S or P positions immediately preceding the transition positions H6 or HP brings. This causes the relays g and h to lose power; the relay h goes into its middle position and interrupts the circuit of the locking coil r, which releases the latch t and opens the control motor switch s.
On the other hand, the driver can also bring the control of the train forward step by step, although the current limiting relay has blocked the further movement of the drive apparatus, for example if the driving motor current does not drop so far that the coil 21 lets go of the relay armature. Then it is in the hand of the driver to excite the step switching relay 18 by pressing the contact button B and with this to tear the armature of the relay 17 against the action of the coil 21.
As soon as the contact 20 is closed, however, the latch 25 is released, and the contact 20 opens again, since the coil 22 is again excited. In the meantime, however, the control motor a has come to run and the main roller has switched one step further. However, if the current flowing in the main winding 21 of the current limit relay 17 is already too high when the button B is pressed down, the relay IS cannot close the contact, so that in this case the control does not switch on.
The relay 18 can also be configured so that it is separated from the current limit relay 17 and has its own contacts that can be connected in parallel to the contacts 20. Also, the interlinking 25, - instead of as drawn here, on mechanical cal ways with cam track 24, 'are operated electro-magnetically. Further variants are conceivable, in particular other switching positions can also be added to the control drum, but the description of the same should be disregarded here.
