Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines als Farbstoff und Farbstoffzwischenprodukt verwendbaren Kondensationsproduktes der Anthrachinonreihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues, als Farbstoff und Farbstoffzwischenprodukt verwendbares Kondensationsprodukt der An- thrachinonreihe erhält, wenn man Cyanur- chlorid und 1 - 4-Diaminoanthrachinon mit einander umsetzt, und zwar unter Anwen dung von höchstens einem Molekül des letz teren auf je ein Molekül des ersteren.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 19 Teile Cyanurchlorid werden mit 24 Teilen 1 - 4-Diaminoanthrachinon und etwas Kupferchlorür während etwa einer Stunde in siedendem Nitrobenzol erhitzt, wobei Salz säure weggeht. Das ausgeschiedene Konden sationsprodukt wird durch Abfiltrieren von der Nitrobenzollösung getrennt, gewaschen und eventuell weiter gereinigt. Getrocknet stellt es ein rotgefärbtes Pulver dar, das un löslich in. Wasser, sowie kaltem und heissem Alkohol; sehr schwer löslich in kaltem und heissem Chlorbenzol, sowie kaltem Nitro benzol und wenig löslich in siedendem Ni trobenzol mit rötlicher Farbe ist.
Seine Lö sung in kalter konzentrierter Schwefelsäure ist rötlichgelb, die Küpenlösung ist. gelb- stichig rot; Baumwolle wird daraus in wein- farbenen Tönen angefärbt.
Process for the preparation of a condensation product of the anthraquinone series which can be used as dye and dye intermediate. It has been found that a new condensation product of the anthraquinone series, which can be used as a dye and dye intermediate, is obtained if cyanuric chloride and 1-4-diaminoanthraquinone are reacted with one another using at most one molecule of the latter for each a molecule of the former.
<I> Example: </I> 19 parts of cyanuric chloride are heated with 24 parts of 1 - 4-diaminoanthraquinone and a little copper chloride for about one hour in boiling nitrobenzene, the hydrochloric acid being removed. The precipitated condensation product is separated from the nitrobenzene solution by filtration, washed and possibly further purified. When dried it is a red-colored powder that is insoluble in water and cold and hot alcohol; is very sparingly soluble in cold and hot chlorobenzene, as well as cold nitrobenzene and slightly soluble in boiling nitrobenzene with a reddish color.
Its solution in cold, concentrated sulfuric acid is reddish yellow, the vat solution is. yellowish red; Cotton is dyed from it in wine-colored tones.
