Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr.<B>97059.</B>         Verfahren    zur Darstellung eines als     Farbstoff    und     Farbstoffzwischenprodukt     verwendbaren Kondensationsproduktes der     Anthrachinonreihe.    .

      Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues,  als Farbstoff und     Farbstoffzwischenprodukt     verwendbares Kondensationsprodukt der     An-          thrachinonreihe    erhält, wenn man     Cyanur-          chlorid    mit     4-Aniino-anthrachinon-2        #        1-thio-          xanthon    umsetzt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>36</B> Teile     4-Amino-anthrachinon-2        #        1-thio-          xanthon    werden mit etwa 300     TeilensNitro-          benzol    auf<B>1100</B> erwärmt. Nach Zugabe von  9,3 Teilen     Cyanurchlorid    wird die Tempera  tur bis zum Siedepunkt des Nitrobenzols  gesteigert und bei diesem etwa 2 Stunden  gehalten. Darnach lässt man erkalten, worauf  das ausgeschiedene Kondensationsprodukt ab  filtriert, mit etwas frischem Nitrobenzol, dann  mit Alkohol gewaschen und schliesslich ge  trocknet wird.

   Es stellt ein violettes Pulver  dar, ist unlöslich in kaltem und siedendem  Wasser, sowie kaltem Alkohol, nur 3 sehr  wenig löslich in heissem Alkohol und kaltem  Chlorbenzol mit blauroter Farbe.     In    heissem  Chlorbenzol und noch besser in heissem Nitro  benzol löst es sich mit blauroter Farbe, mit  kalter konzentrierter Schwefelsäure gibt es  ebenfalls eine blaurote Lösung. Seine     Küpe       ist blaustichig violett gefärbt, Baumwolle  wird aus ihr in rötlich violetten Tönen an  gefärbt.

      It has been found that a new condensation product of the anthraquinone series which can be used as dye and dye intermediate is obtained if cyanuric chloride is reacted with 4-aniino-anthraquinone-2 # 1-thioxanthone.



  <I> Example: </I> <B> 36 </B> parts of 4-amino-anthraquinone-2 # 1-thioxanthone are heated to <B> 1100 </B> with about 300 parts of nitrobenzene. After the addition of 9.3 parts of cyanuric chloride, the tempera ture is increased to the boiling point of nitrobenzene and held at this for about 2 hours. It is then allowed to cool, whereupon the precipitated condensation product is filtered off, washed with a little fresh nitrobenzene, then with alcohol and finally dried.

   It is a purple powder, is insoluble in cold and boiling water, as well as cold alcohol, only 3 very slightly soluble in hot alcohol and cold chlorobenzene with a bluish red color. In hot chlorobenzene, and even better in hot nitrobenzene, it dissolves with a blue-red color; with cold, concentrated sulfuric acid, there is also a blue-red solution. Its vat is dyed a bluish violet, cotton is dyed from it in reddish violet tones.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines als Farb stoff und Farbstoffzwischenprodukt verwend baren Kondensationsproduktes der Antlira- chinonreihe, darin bestehend, dass man Cya- nurchlorid mit 4-Amino-anthrachinon-2..1- thioxanthon umsetzt. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt stellt ein violettes Pulver dar, ist unlöslich in kaltem und siedendem Wasser, sowie kaltem Alko hol, nur sehr wenig löslich in heissem Alkohol und kaltem Chlorbenzol mit blauroter Farbe.
