Device for inflating intestines, stomach, etc. The object of the invention is a device for inflating intestines, plagues, etc. in order to be able to test and sort the same for the preparation of sausage products and the like.
The same has a hollow head to be connected to a compressed air line, which has an outlet opening for the compressed air through which a longitudinally displaceable pipe protrudes, which carries a valve body at the inner end and which is provided with openings in the side wall, the whole so that when the tube is pushed inwards, the valve body is lifted from its seat and the openings in the tube are exposed, so that compressed air can penetrate into the interior of the tube and an intestine connected to it, etc., and when the tube is released the same automatically is shifted outwards,
until the valve body rests on its seat, whereby the outlet of compressed air is interrupted.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is shown in a vertical section.
The vertically arranged hollow cylindrical head 1 is provided at the top for connection to a compressed air line with a pipe socket and at the bottom with a screwed-in guide sleeve 8, which forms the bottom of the head, for a pipe 4 that can be longitudinally displaced in the same. The bore in the guide sleeve 8 forms the outlet opening for compressed air located inside the head 1. At the upper (inner) end of the tube 4 is closed by a valve disk 5, on which a sealing ring 6 is attached to the bottom.
Below the same, the tube 4 is provided with two openings 7 for the passage of compressed air. 8 denotes a sealing spring attached to the upper end face of the guide grommet, which engages in a corresponding groove 9 of the sealing ring 6 resting on its seat surface, ensuring an airtight seal. The tube 4 is held by its own: gravity and the air pressure prevailing in the head 1 in the lower end position in which the valve holder 5 rests with the sealing ring 6 on its seat.
The exit opening of the head 1 is usually closed as a result; If an intestine, stomach, etc. to be filled with air, for example for the purpose of sorting, is slipped onto the tube 4 from below and this is pushed upwards at the same time, the valve holder is lifted from its seat and the openings 7 come over the Guide sleeve so that compressed air can penetrate into the interior of the R.ohres4 and the intestine etc.
This makes it possible to determine in a convenient manner how large it is when it is filled and whether it is not damaged. After removing the intestine from the tube 4 and releasing it, the latter automatically moves back into its closed position. If necessary, this automatic closure can be secured by a spring acting downwards on the tube.
