Drehstahlhalter.
Turning tool holder.
The counterpart of the invention is a rotating steel holder. The same has a housing rotatable about an axis, in which several turning tools can be distributed around said axis so that they protrude sideways over the housing, means are available to fix the housing in different Steìlullgell, for the purpose of turning the turning tools one after the other put in working position in any order to tell.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter are shown, each in a longitudinal section and a plan view.
For the time being, referring to FIGS. 1 and 2; I denotes a longitudinally drilled shaft which runs out at one end into a tube 2 in which a vertical screw 3 is inserted, which serves as the axis of rotation for the housing 4. The housing 4 has a cylindrical shape, is provided with four radially arranged bores 5 at its upper end part and with twelve radial bores (notches) 6 at the lower end part.
The former are used to accommodate a turning tool 7, which can be determined by means of adjusting screw 8 satin. A locking pin 9 is longitudinally displaceable in the longitudinal bore of the shaft 1 and is always pushed forwards and into a barrel 6 under the action of the spring 10 when the housing is set so that it meets the pin 9. Since then the stylus housing 4 is secured against rotation about the axis 3, so that it is connected to the shaft 1. as if it were made in one piece with it.
The steel holder described can therefore be clamped like an ordinary turning tool on the burin house of a lathe support.
If a steel change is necessary, i.e. if a workpiece is to be machined one after the other, for example with a very grinding steel, then with a plain steel, then with a knife steel and finally with a parting steel, all that is necessary is to move the pin 9 back to one Ring handle 11 formed end to rotate the housing 4, respectively. such a delivery, because.) the desired steel is in the working position, and then to release the (J again, whereupon the housing is automatically locked in its new position.
The Stahlweehsel can thus be made instantly; however, it is also possible to select or to select different working positions in relation to the longitudinal direction of the shaft. to change immediately.
The embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from the one described above in that the upper part of the housing 4 used to hold the turning tools is not cylindrical, but square, respectively. is square. A bore 12 is arranged along each of the four sides of the upper housing part. in which a turning tool can be attached by means of adjusting screw 8. Handling and mode of operation of the steel holder according to this embodiment are the same as in the embodiment according to FIGS.
