Description

  

  Dispositif de freinage pour bateaux.    L'objet de la présente invention est un  dispositif de freinage pour bateaux, consti  tué par au moins un volet mobile à bâbord  et un volet mobile disposé à tribord de la  coque du bateau, susceptibles d'être rentrés  ou sortis de la coque sous l'action d'un appa  reil de commande approprié.  



  Le dessin annexé représente, à titre  d'exemple, adapté à un chaland à propulsion  aérienne, une forme d'exécution de l'objet  de la présente invention.  



  La fig. 1 en est une vue de côté;  La fig. 2 en est une vue en plan et une  coupe partielle.  



  A tribord et à bâbord de la coque a du  chaland est disposé un volet b mobile, sus  ceptible d'être rentré ou sorti de la coque a.  



  Les orifices prévus à cet effet dans la  coque a comportent des presse-étoupes c  destinés à empêcher la pénétration de l'eau  dans la coque. Le déplacement de chaque  volet b est obtenu au moyen d'un appareil  de commande comportant un arbre horizon  tal b susceptible de tourner sur lui-même.  Ce mouvement de rotation de l'arbre d est  réalisé par l'intermédiaire d'un pignon co-    nique e fixé à l'une des extrémités de l'ar  bre d et en relation avec un second pignon  conique solidaire d'un second arbre g per  pendiculaire à l'arbre d. L'arbre g est muni  d'un second pignon h en relation avec un  pignon i commandé par un volant j.  



  L'arbre d est pourvu en k d'un filetage  sur lequel peut se visser un écrou l, lequel  est relié au moyen de bielles d'accouple  ment m à l'extrémité placée à l'intérieur de  la coque a de chaque volet b.  



  Lorsqu'on imprime un mouvement de  rotation au volant j, on provoque la rotation  de l'arbre d et suivant le sens de cette rota  tion, l'écrou l se déplace en avant ou en  arrière, ce qui a pour effet, soit de faire  rentrer, soit de faire sortir les volets b de la  coque a. Lorsque, par une manouvre appro  priée du volant j, on fait sortir les volets  b de la coque a, on provoque une augmen  tation de résistance à l'avancement du cha  land, et en conséquence, celui-ci est freiné.  



  Les volets b sont disposés de façon telle  que, lorsqu'ils sont sortis de la coque a, ils  constituent des poches augmentant, la résis-      tance à l'avanvcement du chaland plus que  ne le feraient des volets de forme plate.
