Signalvorrichtung an Fahrzeugen.
Signal device on vehicles. The present invention relates to a signal device on vehicles. It is preferably suitable for use in bicycles.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 7 is a view of the Signalvorrich device in use on a bicycle, Fig. 2, a plan view of this, Fig. 3 is a front, and Fig. Ff a side view of the Signal @? device.
The signal device shown has a housing a, which has a circular shape and consists of sheet metal. In the housing a a membrane b is accommodated, which is arranged on the pin c projecting through the housing by means of the adjusting screw d adjustable bar and lockable. Above the diaphragm b. A bell e is arranged. The housing a has two opposing (of which only the right-hand side., Fig. 3, ersicht Lich) cutouts on its circumference, which serve as a guide for the Fl.achfAder f, which latter is rotatable about the pin c.
One end of the flat spring f has a recess g into which one end of the tension member h is hung. The end of the coil spring i, which is arranged on the circumference of the housing and the other end of which is fastened to the housing a, also engages in the aforementioned recess.
The end of the flat spring f facing away from the recess g also extends beyond the housing a and has a curve f '. On the housing a there is a holder consisting of two parts by means of angled bits Z attached to be able to attach the signal device to the front wheel fork of a bicycle, for example. In order to be able to set the signaling device to different ranges, the part of the holder, which is bent at right angles and rests on the housing: can be adjustable.
The use and operation of the device described is as follows: Assuming that the signaling device is used in connection with a bicycle, the holder L is attached to the front fork R of the bicycle, as can be seen from FIG the end of the flat spring f provided with the bend f 'does not touch the spokes of the front wheel. In order to operate the sill nal device, while the bicycle is in motion, pull on the pulling element h, the z.
B. may consist of a chain or a cord, whereby the flat spring f is brought into the position indicated by dash-dotted lines in Fig. 4, in wel cher the end provided with the bend f 'is touched by the spokes of the bicycle wheel and vibrated . These vibrations are then transmitted through the pin c to the mem brane b, creating tones. Depending on the speed at which the spoke stops on the flat spring, the membrane can produce higher or lower tones.
After releasing the pulling element h. the flat spring f, which is withdrawn by the helical spring i, resumes its original position.
Instead of a bicycle, the signal device could also be designed for use on all kinds of folding tools, such as motor vehicles, wagons, etc. his.
Siatt, as drawn., Round, the signaling device could also be seated in a different form, just as the housing could instead. made of sheet metal also consist of another suitable material.
The drawn and described .. Signal device offers. .the advantage that it is simple and cheap and that acoustic signals can be emitted with the same force,
