Description
The present invention relates to a mounted on a roof fall protection for securing a person acting on it, comprising a running rail for attaching a safety cable slidably connected thereto for attachment to a harness of the person working on the roof.
Every year, countless accidents happen to people who work unsecured on a roof and fall down. Accordingly, regulations exist in various countries in order to install appropriate safety barriers on the roofs. Already known from DE-A-2 343 233 is a fall arrest device which is suitable for mounting on a flat roof. This solution consists of several, spaced apart on the roof ceiling posts that penetrate the roof and are firmly connected to their upper, over the roof protruding ends, with a continuous spar, to which a sliding in the longitudinal direction of the Holmes, flexible securing element fastened is.
Based on this and in further development thereof, DE-A-3 148 046 discloses a further developed peg which on the one hand is telescopically adjustable in length and thus represents a height-adjustable solution by means of which a sealing and insulating passage through the insulating layer of the flat roof is made possible , Also known is a fall protection, but only during the construction phase on the edge of the roof can be attached and serves as a ground post, along which a fall protection can be attached along the edge of the roof. Before the final roofing of the roof, this attachment for the post is removed. This solution according to EP 669 436 is therefore not suitable for remaining on the roof.
A solution to be mounted on pitched roofs, for example, from DE 19 900 038 known. These are safety hooks which are provided with a holding arm for attachment to a rafter and which are each provided with a eaves-side eyelet for attaching a safety harness. These solutions also allow a horizontal footprint to install, or to form a kind of stairs on a roof by the attachment of several such safety roof hooks.
A variant of the first-mentioned solution according to DE-2 343 233 and the solution according to DE-A-19 900 038 of the last-described variant is also known from EP 1 219 762. Here, securing posts are mounted on a rafter and provided with a mounting flange. This solution is especially suitable for corrugated roof tiles.
Especially with pitched roofs which are covered with roof tiles or roof tiles, the solutions known today are problematic, since the posts, as they are used today for flat roofs, are hardly attachable to pitched roofs, without jeopardizing the tightness of the roof.
Another problem is that the known fall protection does not allow secure processing of an entire roof. The person working on the roof must repeatedly, when changing their position, loosen the fall arrest device and fasten it to a new securing area. Not only is this time consuming, but during the transfer, the person is less well or not assured depending on how carefully he or she does it. For example, in the solution of DE 2 343 233 A, the posts are the movement limiting elements. The safety ropes can move on said spar only between two adjacent posts slidably. This is true in the increased mass of course in the solution. DE 19 900 038 to. Workers therefore tend to move faster to use longer safety ropes than is practical. In other words, if necessary, the person may fall over the edge of the roof if the safety rope is too long and will then be caught. It can be seen that injuries can still occur.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a fall protection that allows without danger an increased range of motion without attaching the safety rope to a new position, which thus also brings a time savings and also offers a solution that the tightness of the roof guaranteed and finally suitable for use both on pitched roofs as well as on flat roofs.
This object is achieved by a fall protection according to the preamble of claim 1, whose solution is characterized in that a running rail is formed from a rail having a first leg for attachment to a roof, said leg having on one side a receptacle for a roofing material and a second leg extending above the first leg and defining with the first leg a C-shaped track in which a trolley is received, wherein a tread is disposed on the opening side of the track, while the side surfaces formed by the two legs C-shaped running rail form the guide surface for a trolley.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and are explained in the following description with reference to the accompanying drawings.
It shows: <Tb> FIG. 1 <SEP> shows schematically the arrangement of the inventive fall protection on a pitched roof. <Tb> FIG. 2 <SEP> represents the cross section of a preferred rail of the rail of fall protection on its own and <Tb> FIG. 3 <SEP> a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the trolley suitable for the running rail according to FIGS. 2 and <Tb> FIG. 4 shows a section perpendicular to the running direction of the running rail with a trolley arranged therein.
In Fig. 1 the ridge F of a roof D is shown with a ridge beam FB on which the rafters S rest. On the roof D a roofing B is laid. Such a roof B can be realized in the form of bricks or plates. In the ridge area, an angle bar 5 is screwed onto the rafters S. One leg of the angle bar is attached to the rafters, while on the leg extending perpendicular to the rafter by means of a screw 6, a sliding block 7 is held in a retaining groove 8. The retaining groove 8 is part of a profile rail 10th
The entire fall protection is only in the Fig. 4 can be seen. Here you can see that the fall protection 1 consists of a running rail 2, which is part of the rail 10 and a trolley 3 is held on a safety rope 4.
For the time being, the profile rail 10 will now be described in detail, reference being made to FIG. 2. The rail 10 has two legs and that a first in the mounting position roof-side leg 11 and a second arranged above parallel to the first leg extending second leg 12. Both legs are designed as double-walled hollow legs. The first leg 11 has a lower, roof-side wall 111 and an overlying, upper rail side wall 112. Between these two walls 111 and 112 is a cross-sectionally oval cavity 113. This cavity 113 has a first side in the installed position end wall 114 and a in the installed position eaves-side end wall 115. On the outside of the ridge-side end wall 114, the already mentioned retaining groove 8 is arranged, which is designed approximately c-shaped in cross section with the open side towards the ridge out. Both the parallel roof-side wall 111 and the overlying upper wall 112 are extended beyond the eaves-side end wall 115, and these two extensions, namely the roof-side extension 116 and the overlying extension 117, form, together with the eaves-side end wall 115 Recording 13. This receptacle 13 is designed so that a subsequent to the rail 10 roofing can be pushed into it a bit far. As already mentioned, such a roofing can be a tile or a roof tile.
When mounting the rail 10 on a pitched roof, this rail as already briefly explained with reference to FIG. 1, by means of a perpendicular to the direction of the rafters in the ridge region mounted angle bar 5 by means of sliding blocks 7 which store in the retaining groove 8 of the rail held , On a flat roof, such a solution is of course also conceivable. In order to additionally but still impossible to pivot or a tilting movement hook-shaped support strips 118 are integrally formed on the roof-side wall 111 in cross-section. These then work together with a counter-bar which is supplied separately and mounted on the roof, and are held by this engaged.
The second leg 12 is also designed as already mentioned as a hollow leg. Accordingly, this leg also has a roof-side wall 121 which serves as an upper guide wall and runs parallel to the upper wall 112 of the first leg 11. Parallel to the upper guide wall 121 extends a top wall 122. Between these two walls 121 and 122 there is a second cavity 123. In cross-section, this cavity 123 is oval. The term oval is here not to be understood in the strictly geometrical sense, but more in the general linguistic use in the sense of an elongated surface which is rounded at both ends. In the present case, both in cross-section oval cavities 113 and 123 of two parallel sides and at both ends each with the same radius closed surfaces designed. The top surface 122 of the second leg 12 is provided on the ridge side with an obliquely inclined to the direction of the first leg 11 towards extension 124. On the opposite side, both the upper guide wall 121 and the top wall 122 is extended and this extension 126 and the extension of the end wall 125 in the direction of the first leg 11 are connected to a stiffening wall 128 with each other.
The first leg 11 and the second leg 12 are connected in the installed position ridge side with a double-walled connecting wall 129 with each other. Thus, between the upper wall 112 of the first leg 11 of the roof-side wall 121 of the second leg 12 and the connecting wall 129, a running rail 2 is formed for a trolley guided therein. The running rail has two guide surfaces, which are formed on the one hand by the outside of the upper wall 112 of the first leg and on the other hand by the second cavity 123 also outwardly lying surface of the roof-side wall 121 and the upper guide wall. The extension 127 of the end wall 125 of the second leg 12 forms a running surface for the movable in the running rail 2 trolley.
In Fig. 3, the trolley is shown by itself. The trolley 3 consists of a chassis plate 30 which is angled at 90 ° to a longitudinal edge to a stiffening edge 31. This stiffening edge 31 has a rear and a front stiffened bearing cheek 32. Both bearing cheeks 32 are penetrated by guide shafts 33. On the guide shafts 33 of the bearing cheek 32 guide rollers 34 are mounted on both sides. In the chassis plate 30 two spaced bearing bolts 35 are arranged. On each bearing pin 35, a roller 36 is held. From the chassis plate 30, a window 37 is punched out and bent by 90 ° on the side on which the bearing pins 35 and rollers 36 are located. For this part of the window is bent by 90 °, a Seilführungsöse 38 is formed.
In Fig. 4, the trolley 3 is now used in the running rail 2 of the rail 1. The guide rollers 34 have a diameter which at least approximately correspond to the clear width between the upper wall 112 of the first leg 11 and the lower, roof-side wall 121 of the second leg 12. The two in this view behind each other rollers 36 run on the inside of the extension 127 of the end wall 125 of the second leg 12. Through the Seilführungsöse 38 extends a safety rope 4. This safety rope 4 may be, for example, a wire rope, which only serves to fasten the actual safety rope 4 before use and pull it through the rope guide eyelet 38. Accordingly, then this rope 4 must be about twice as long as the fall line of the roof. A working on the roof person who rises from the eaves on the roof, can now attach the effective, brought by the working person safety rope to the safety rope 4 and pull up by means of this rope 4 the effective safety rope which has a stop pin up to Seilführungsöse 38 , Then he is connected to the inventive fall protection. However, if the person working on the roof enters the roof through a roof hatch close to the roof, they can fix their safety rope 4 directly to the cable guide eye 38. The harness that uses the person working on the roof is not part of the invention and is not counted here as part of the fall protection understood here. The harness may, for example, have a roll-up mechanism which similarly blocks a safety belt in the car during a quick roll-off operation.
The same fall protection according to the present invention may of course also be arranged on a flat roof. In this case, two oppositely directed profile rails 10 will be arranged by means of corresponding angle strips 5 in the central longitudinal direction of the roof. Of course, these rails then have to be less long than the flat roof is long. Not shown here, but of course for the expert, the ends of the rails are provided with an end cap forming a stop. This end cover can in principle be welded on, but preferably this end cover plate will be screwed on so that, if necessary, the trolley can also be replaced. Also, on a flat roof, the receptacle 13 is used to insert therein a roof plate or insulation board.
The inclined extension 124 serves to provide a sealing cover over the ridge which renders the ridge tiles superfluous. It will thus be connected to each other on two sloping sides a rail by a curved cover plate. This can also be used on a flat roof like this. However, if you design this cover plate trough-shaped, the cover plate may additionally have the function of a collecting trough.
