Dadurch verkürzt sich der Abstand zwischen der beiden Tragrollen 9, 11 derart, dass die Fahrgestelle 13 von oben an den oben liegenden Rollenbahnenabschnitten 5 ́ und 71 vorbei nach unten geführt werden können. Beim Nach-unten-Fahren kommen die Führungsrollen 19 mit vertikaler Drehachse in die Führungsbahn 21 zu liegen und, nach einer Schwenkung der beiden Fahrgestelle 13 in eine zur Verbindungsstange 17 rechtwinkligen Lage, kommen die beiden Tragrollen 9 und 11 in die Rollbahnen 5 und 7 zu liegen. Durch ein geeignetes Rastmittel werden die beiden Fahrgestelle 13 und die Verbindungsstange 17 in der rechtwinkligen gegenseitigen Lage miteinander verrastet und dadurch eine weitere Schwenkbewegung ausgeschlossen. Zum besseren Verständnis der Figuren wird das bisher noch nicht beschriebene, jedoch dargestellte Element 23 erwähnt. Es handelt sich um einen Endlagendämpfer, der beim Verschieben der Schiebetüren einen harten Aufschlag auf der Seitenwand in der Endstellung dämpft.
