Abstract

The device has an electric switch (8) with a single contact element i.e. collar (9), integrated with the locking device to control closing of a security door (4). A moving unit moves a locking rod (7) in a slot (5) using an air pressure unit (6) to lock the door. A spring returns a locking pin in unlocked position in the absence of air pressure. The collar is connected to the locking rod, operates the electrical switch when the security door is locked, and releases the switch when the door is unlocked.
