Fig. 1-4, jeweils linke Seite der Bohrung 13).
Fig. 6).
The invention relates to a locking device for a bobbin case for a bobbin according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
The lower thread bobbin of sewing machines, especially household sewing machines, can either be stored directly in the bobbin and is thus directly accessible. It can also be inserted in a specially designed bobbin case, which in turn is mounted in the bobbin. The present invention relates both to a bobbin mounted indirectly in a bobbin in the bobbin. The invention can also be applied to a coil which can be used directly in the coil carrier.
From DE-A1 3 819 405 a bobbin case for rotary gripper is known, in which the coil on a cylindrical spool, which is part of the bobbin case, pushed and held by a safety lever.
The safety lever, designed as a two-armed lever is held in the two positions (open position and working position) by a spring-loaded plate. The locking is released by manually turning the lever by 90 ° to an axially parallel position. Thereafter, the coil can be lifted out of the bobbin. In order to facilitate the lifting out of the bobbin from the bobbin, DE-A1 19 510 830 proposes to use a bobbin underside, i. the underlying coil flange, and insert the coil carrier a coil spring. This pushes after release of the coil by the lever, the coil partially out of the bobbin. At the same time the spring exerts during braking a braking torque on the coil, which varies depending on the design of the coil surface and can not be influenced.
This can hinder the sewing process.
From GB-A 2 149 433 a coil holder is further known in which the coil is held by a spring-loaded, can be passed through the coil holding mandrel. The retaining pin can be brought by a quarter turn out of the holder in the removal position and dissolves completely together with the coil from the bobbin. The retaining pin must therefore be inserted into this when inserting a full bobbin and then secured. From EP-B1 1541736 a locking device for a lower thread bobbin is known in which a coil passing through the central opening in the coil locking device is held on a spring on the bobbin and automatically locks the coil after the complete depression of the coil in the bobbin.
By a radial displacement of the locking element to the axis of rotation of the coil, the latter can be released again from the lock. It is then ejected by the spring carrying the locking element.
An object of the present invention is to provide a locking device for a bobbin case for a bobbin, with which the bobbin case engaged in the bobbin and can be solved without actuation of a locking means, wherein additionally an axial pushing out of the coil or the bobbin from the bobbin to the release is effected.
This object is achieved by a locking device according to the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in more detail in the dependent claims.
By light external center pressure on the bobbin case or the coil, the holding position which holds the coil trapped in the bobbin, dissolved and at the same time the partial ejection of the bobbin case or, if a bobbin is held without bobbin in the bobbin, the ejection of the coil become. The locking of a new to be inserted into the bobbin bobbin case or a coil by axial insertion of the coil or bobbin case in the bobbin until it reaches the recess in the bobbin and tilts. There are then no further interlocking actions necessary. The coil held by the locking element is braked by the locking element in any way, because the latter does not touch the coil non-positively.
The inventive locking device thus comes without bars, slides or flaps. The only, in itself movable element is the coil spring located in the coil or bobbin, which ensures the locking position after locking and causes the ejection of the coil or the bobbin case when unlocking.
In contrast to the known locking devices according to the invention no bobbin case hinge is needed and consequently no protruding beyond the capsule or coil parts are present, which could hinder a proper thread passage. By omitting mechanical parts such as hinges more space is available on the bobbin case or spool and it can be a coil with a larger supply of thread used.
Reference to an illustrated embodiment, the invention will be explained in more detail. Show it
<Tb> FIG. 1 <sep> an axial section through a coil carrier with lying above this bobbin case including coil inserted there,
<Tb> FIG. 2 <sep> an axial section through the bobbin with inserted bobbin case just before the bobbin case (bobbin still slightly oblique),
<Tb> FIG. 3 <sep> an axial section through the bobbin with latched bobbin case,
<Tb> FIG. 4 <sep> an axial section through the bobbin with disengaged from the lock bobbin case, before ejecting the coil,
<Tb> FIG. 5 <sep> an axial section through a coil with inserted sleeve,
<Tb> FIG. 6 <sep> a horizontal section through the bobbin and the bobbin case,
<Tb> FIG. 7 <sep> is a perspective view of the coil in Fig. 5,
<Tb> FIG. 8 <sep> an axial section through a further embodiment of the connecting member, which is formed directly on the bobbin.
With reference numeral 1, a bobbin of a gripper assembly 3 is designated. In Fig. 1 is a bobbin case 5 with a coil inserted therein 7 coaxial with the bobbin 1. The bobbin case 5 with the coil 7 is therefore not yet inserted into the bobbin 1. This is a state as it exists after the replacement / filling of the bobbin 7. In the bobbin 1, a connecting member 11 is placed on a centrally formed mandrel 9. This is firmly but rotatably connected to the mandrel 9 and may be made of plastic or metal. The periphery of the connecting member 11 may be cylindrical (not shown) or, as shown in the figures, have a heel-shaped constriction in the upper region.
The bobbin case 5 comprises in the center a bore 13 which is cylindrical in the upper part a and in the lower part b over a portion of the circumference of the bore 13, e.g. is formed cylindrical over 180 ° and the opposite region is formed by a cylindrical portion whose axis is inclined to the axis of the other region (see Fig. 1-4, left side of the bore 13). In the front region of the bobbin case 5, the bore 13 may be formed closed or whose cross-section has a smaller diameter as the underlying cylindrical portion a of the bore thirteenth
On a peripheral shoulder 15 or a flat end face formed at the upper end of the connecting member 11 coaxially lying a coil spring 17 is supported. The spring 17 is fixed at its upper end to the bobbin case 5, e.g. clamped or glued. When attached bobbin case 5 is therefore the upper end ring 19 of the coil spring 17 to the bobbin case 5 at. Preferably, the end ring 19 is larger in diameter than the other turns. The coil spring 17 is dimensioned such that when completely in the bobbin 1 locked bobbin case 5, the coil spring 17 is under tension and when loosening the bobbin 5, the coil spring 17 at least partially lifts the bobbin case 5 from the bobbin 1 or ejects to seize the bobbin case 5 easier.
At the lower end of the connecting member 11, also called capsule carrier, a circumferential groove 21 is recessed. The axial height of the groove 21 is slightly greater than the axial height of a over a portion of the bore 13 encircling, inwardly directed, crescent-shaped flange portion 23 on the bobbin case 5. The distance of the inner edge 25 of the flange portion 23 to the opposite non-parallel wall portion b is slightly larger than the diameter of the connecting member 11 (see Fig. 6).
The operation of the gripper assembly 3 will be explained in more detail.
The equipped with a new coil 7 bobbin case 5 is pushed axially from above over the connecting member 11. In this case, the coil spring 17 comes into resilient engagement with the upper end of the connecting member eleventh
On the end face 27 of the bobbin case 5, a mark 29 is mounted eccentrically. The marking 29 may be a color or consist of a region provided by, for example, a laser beam with grooves or a recess. For latching or locking the bobbin case 5 F1 presses the seamstress with a finger approximately centrally on the bobbin case 5; upon further pressing, the bobbin case 5 is slightly tilted by the flange 23, which is present only over a partial area (approximately 180 °), at the lower end of the bore 13, as can be seen in FIG. By this inclination, it is possible that the only partially encircling crescent-shaped flange 23 slide past the lateral surface of the connecting member 11 and then can engage in the groove 21 when the bobbin case 5 tilts back into the horizontal.
To release the bobbin case 5 from the bobbin 1 is proceeded in the reverse direction by a finger F2 pressure on the eccentric mounted mark 29 is exercised and thus the bobbin case 5 tilts and the edge 25 of the flange 23 moves out of the groove 21 and then the bobbin case 5 is raised by the force of the coil spring 17 until it can be lifted out of the bobbin 1 with two fingers.
In Fig. 5, a coil 7 is shown in axial section, which is not stored in a bobbin case 5. So that it can rotate during sewing within the bobbin 1, a sleeve 31 is rotatably inserted in the center of the coil 7. The sleeve 31 comprises means at the top and bottom, e.g. Flare or flanges 33 which hold the sleeve 31 axially with play in the coil 7. The bore 13 in the sleeve 31 is analogous to the bore 13 in the bobbin case 5 in Examples 1 to 4. In other words, the upper portion a is cylindrical and the lower portion b is approximately half inclined to the axis of the bobbin case 5 Cylinder surface running (see also Fig. 2). The upper end of the sleeve 31 is closed and serves as an abutment for the coil spring 17 not shown in FIG.
On the overhead annular flange of the sleeve 31, as in the first embodiment, a mark 29 is mounted eccentrically to indicate to the operator, at which point she must place a contact force F2 when unlocking.
In a further embodiment of the invention (Figure 8), the link 11 is part of the mandrel 9, i. the periphery of the mandrel 9 has the shape of the periphery of the connecting member 11 in the former embodiment. The operation of the insertion or ejection of the bobbin case 5 with the coil 7 is carried out in the same manner.
