The invention relates in particular to such a system in which protective elements are folded from the horizontal by an angle x and thus form a flood protection in the erected position.
[0002] This is a flood protection system permanently installed at the site. In addition to dams, walls, mobile elements that can be built up and dismantled, permanently installed, folding, swiveling, rotating or vertically movable flood protection systems are state-of-the-art. These are mainly systems with channels embedded in the floor for accommodating the movement space [turning area or area for extending and retracting] of the protective element (s).
Brackets and guide rails on the channel element ensure the respective desired movement of the elements and are often required for power transmission and power dissipation of the moments in the channel and in the underground. It is irrelevant whether the movement of the protective elements is operated manually, semi-automatically or fully automatically.
In many cases, however, it is for reasons of structural conditions not possible or useful to use such solutions.
In the following some of the disadvantages of such solutions:
<tb> - <sep> structurally complex solutions for the production and introduction of the channel elements
<tb> - <sep> Interfaces with supply and disposal lines in the field more elaborate execution of horizontally mounted, cantilevered rotary elements, especially in transit traffic
<tb> - <sep> Foundation under protruding part of the protective element under load
<tb> - <sep> Cost Consequences for Rotary Bearings structurally complex introduction and removal of forces when the rotary element is in vertical position and under hydrostatic pressure
<tb> - <sep> Disadvantages for transport of system components
<tb> - <sep> Directional costs at the construction site for adjusting the protective elements.
In contrast, the inventive shoring as a flood protection system has advantageous features.
On the one hand dispensed with the arrangement of a channel. The protective element (1) to be rotated from the horizontal [rest position] to the protection position is connected at the water-side edge by means of rotary bearings instead of a channel to a base-foundation plate (2). In the non-activated state, both plates [protective element and base plate] are superimposed, comparable to a closed spine or a closed box.
The activation for flood protection is done manually, semi or fully automatic [eg. with electric, pneumatic, hydraulic straightening device, alternatively underwater operable for one or more simultaneously to be moved protective elements (1)]. The erector device (4) serves to activate and deactivate the protective element (1). The separately arranged support device (11, 11.1) of the protective element serves for its support and locking.
Depending on the requirement, the protective element (1) by means of erecting (4) and support device (11, 11.1) infinitely, preferably in any inclination within the rotational angle shown in Fig. 3.0 (7) are positioned and locked to this way different levels to meet levels.
It is irrelevant which type erecting device [Ex: electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, or similar] is used. The simultaneous erection of several protective elements (1) with a straightening device (4), [bspw. Hydraulic cylinder, El motor with shaft, threaded spindle and gearbox], is basically possible. In the event of an event, the buoyancy of the accumulated water acts hydrostatically against the bottom (foundation) plate (2). The buoyancy counteract the weight of the Verbauelementes, its ground anchoring and the hydrostatic force of the accumulated water against the protective element (1).
The seal of Verbauelementes carried by a seal (5) parallel to the water-side longitudinal edges of both, the protective element (1) and the bottom-base plate (2). Between the individual shoring elements arranged at the transverse edges provide seals (6) for the tightness of the system in the vertical or in the oblique position (Fig. 7.0) of the protective element (1).
Mehrzwecknutzbar the flood protection system can be arranged in the open countryside as well as in very tightly built agglomerations, preferably at the same level walk in the terrain and positioned overrun.
In the non-activated state, the loading forces (eg. Overpass) due to approximately horizontal position and contact surfaces of both superimposed elements, protective element (1) and floor / foundation plate (2), advantageously distributed area and derived in the underground.
In the case of compounds with structural systems can be arranged on both sides, profiled connections (14,13) [console, steel profile, etc.] are provided, both to the structural system [Ex: building, foundation, drilling / trench wall] as well as the ground-foundation plate of the Verbauelementes. They are sealed against each other (Fig. 8.0) and also serve as an assembly and adjustment aid. For stability reasons, the bottom plate of the Verbauelementes can be positively connected to a building, as shown in Fig. 8.0dargestellt.
The above-described and described in the following embodiments according to the invention elements to be used are subject to their size, shape design, material use and technical design no special conditions of exception, so that the well-known in each application selection criteria can apply without restriction. Dimensioning and choice of material depend on the accumulation height (the hydrostatic / dynamic load in case of an incident) as well as the non-event situation according to the respective traffic load and use.
The protective element (1), in non-driving times in the horizontal at the same level as a pedestrian or traffic area available, is rotated in dangers depending on the announced water level in the required level. The protective element (1) can be moved manually (for example by means of a crank and threaded rod or with a Unimog and crane hook) as well as semi-automatically, or automatically by means of a straightening device (4) in accordance with the angle of rotation Fig. 3.0. The erecting and supporting device are designed so that the protective element can be locked at least in the maximum achievable position, but also in any other position by means of the support device.
A larger damming height is met with a rotary element (20) exemplified in Fig. 3.0, which is connected by pivot bearing (21) with the upper longitudinal edge of the erected protective element (1). The rotary element is rotated to an upper protective position. In this folded position it presses sealingly against the sealing strip (9) arranged between the lower longitudinal edge of the rotary element and the upper longitudinal edge of the protective element.
An essential advantage of the inventive Verbauelementes over the prior art is its placement in the upper terrain area, preferably at the same level without affecting the otherwise critical depths of supply and disposal lines.
The shoring of Fig. 1.0-8.0 represents in its multi-purpose use and in the small depth dimensions, both as a single element as well as several juxtaposed, an economical solution of a "push of a button" activatable flood protection system.
