Technisches Gebiet

Technical area
The invention relates to a fastening device of a door seal according to the preamble of claim 1.
State of the art
Grinding seals and lowerable door seals for threshold-free doors are known from the prior art, the latter being preferably activated automatically when the door is closed. A corresponding door seal is described for example in EP-A-0 338 974.
These lowerable door seals usually have a sealing unit with a support rail and at least one sealing strip, which are held in a guide rail raised and lowered. The guide rail can be fastened in a groove embedded in a door lower edge or laterally at the lower edge of the door leaf. Usually it is fixed with nails or screws.
For glass doors is proposed in EP-A-1 277 910, the guide rail to stick to the lower end face of the door, so that the door seal forms a downwardly projecting extension of the door leaf.
A lateral arrangement of the door seals on glass doors has been achieved in that the guide profile has been provided with an upwardly open U-shaped lateral connection part. This U-shaped receiving part served to accommodate the lower edge of the glass door, so that it was covered from both sides: on one side by the door seal, on the other side by the upstanding leg of the connector. The door was usually potted or glued in this recording.
However, the current architecture direction makes demands on ever simpler forms of the doors. Therefore, it would be desirable if the door seal could be attached to the glass door without covering the opposite side of the door leaf. One solution would be to simply stick the door seal on the door leaf. With silicone or a UV adhesive, this can be done with satisfactory results. However, this gluing is time consuming and also requires the necessary tools. It would be simpler if the door seal could be fixed by means of an adhesive tape. However, it is unfortunately hardly possible to stick a door seal of 80 cm or more without an adhesive tape forming wrinkles or bubbles.
However, these would be visible from the other side of the glass door and would significantly affect the appearance.
Presentation of the invention
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a fastening device of a door seal for attachment to a side surface of a door, in particular for attachment to a glass door or other transparent or semi-transparent door, which overcomes the disadvantages mentioned above.
This object is achieved by a fastening device with the features of claim 1.
The inventive fastening device has a profile rail with a plane extending over at least approximately the entire length of the rail rigid surface. It also has an adhesive and a screen, wherein the adhesive between the screen and the rigid surface is arranged and wherein the fastening device is formed such that mounted in the door seal, the rigid surface, the screen and the adhesive on the same side of the door Door seal are located.
The screening agent thus covers the adhesive surface and any wrinkles or blisters. From the other side of the door, only the screening means is visible, which can be designed according to the desired appearance.
In a preferred embodiment, the screening agent is itself glued to the door surface, wherein it is preferably formed self-adhesive. So that it can be applied wrinkle-free and bubble-free on the door surface itself, it preferably consists of a rollable material, for example of a thin film.
Further advantageous embodiments will become apparent from the dependent claims.
Short description of the drawing
In the following, the subject invention is explained with reference to a preferred embodiment, which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Show it:
<Tb> FIG. 1 <sep> a longitudinal section through a door seal according to the invention attached to a door and
<Tb> FIG. 2 <sep> an exploded view of this arrangement.
Ways to carry out the invention
In Fig. 1, a door seal 1 is shown, which is fixed to a side surface 50 of a threshold-less door 5. It preferably extends over the entire width of the door. The seal 1 is aligned in the open state of the door 5 preferably with its lower edge 51. In the closed state of the door, it bridges with its sealing strip 12 the distance between the door lower edge 51 and bottom 6 and thus seals against draft, sound and smoke.
The door 5 is preferably, as shown here, an all-glass door. However, it may also be transparent or partially transparent only in this lower area. Of course, the invention can also be applied to opaque doors such as wooden or metal doors.
The exact structure and the attachment of the door seal is shown in more detail in FIG. The door seal 1 can be configured arbitrarily. In particular, it may be a sliding seal or a lowerable door seal. Here is a automatically lowered when closing the door door seal shown. It essentially comprises an elongated guide rail 10 made of aluminum, in which a support rail 11 is held with a sealing strip 12 arranged thereon. The support rail 11 is lowered together with the sealing strip 12 via a spring mechanism, not shown, which is triggered by an activated when the door closing the actuating rod, relative to the guide rail 10 can be lowered and raised.
This door seal 1 is held in a mounting rail 2. It can be held in a form-fitting manner, glued on or screwed to it. The mounting rail 2 is preferably also made of aluminum. However, depending on the wishes of the door manufacturer or the architect, it can also be made of other materials.
The mounting rail 2 has a plane rigid surface 20, which approximately, preferably extends exactly over the entire length of the mounting rail 2 and thus the door seal 1. On this surface 20, a double-sided adhesive tape 3 is applied. The adhesive tape 3 preferably covers the entire flat surface 20.
Instead of the adhesive tape 3, the flat surface 20 can also be provided with a different adhesive. For example, the adhesive can be applied directly to the surface 20 and covered with a liner or other suitable protective tape until the door seal 1 is mounted on the door 5.
The adhesive 3 is preferably already applied to the flat surface 20 at the factory.
Between door seal 1 and glass door 5 is still a visual screening agent available. Here this is a thin privacy film 4, such as an aluminum foil. However, it can also be used other means that form a screen, so are opaque.
The screening agent 4 must be thin enough so that it can be wrinkle-free and bubble-free to apply to the surface of the door 5. It must therefore be easy to unwind, so that it can be applied in sections on the door surface 50. Preferably, the protective film 4 extends over approximately the entire surface of the adhesive tape 2 and thus the mounting rail 2. If it is larger, there is a risk that their overlapping parts will be damaged. If it is smaller, it does not form an absolute privacy screen for the adhesive tape 2.
In Fig. 2 it can be seen in which order the individual elements are attached. First, the privacy sheet 4 is rolled onto the door surface 50 and glued. Subsequently, the attached in the mounting rail 2 door seal 1 is glued by means of the adhesive tape 3 on the screen 4, in which case due to the rigidity of the seal 1 and the mounting rail 2, their entire surface must be brought into contact with the privacy film 4 simultaneously.
In another, not shown embodiment, no mounting rail 2 is present, but the tape 3 is glued directly to the guide rail 10.
The inventive fastening device thus allows sticking a long, rigid door seal to a glass door without unwanted wrinkles or bubbles affect the appearance of the door.
