The present invention relates to a watch (preferably a wristwatch), in which the time is not read from the position of the hands, but from the position of at least two different turns fast touring tokens.
Movements with one or more tourbillons are known from the state of the art, however, no tourbillons rotating at different speeds are used, which enable a direct reading of the time.
Also, tourbillons which rotate about several axes state of the art, it usually increases the rotation time with each axis to which the tourbillon turns.
Watches have also been made, where a part of the tourbillon frame is designed as a pointer or placed on the tourbillon axle a pointer and so serves as a small seconds display.
The invention is to equip a clock (1) with at least two tourbillons (2 and 3), of which the first tourbillon has a rotation time of one minute and the second tourbillon one hour, a third tourbillon is installed , so this has a rotation time of 12 or 24 hours.
If a minute tourbillon (2) and an hour tourbillon (3) are used as second and minute hands respectively, the hours can be displayed by means of a jumping hourglass (5) or a conventional pointer.
The conventional hands of a clock are therefore replaced by tourbillons with corresponding pointer-shaped games (4) on the tourbillon frame. In addition, on the dial around the tourbillon indexes (6) for the usual division can be attached.
The big advantage is that the tourbillons are not covered by hands and they can therefore be built in the space between the dial and glass of a clock, where they are very visible.
By the invention, the tourbillon (2, 3 and 7) of the clock to the display instrument, that is, they are perceived when reading the time each time by the watch carrier.
The hour tourbillon (3) needs compared to the minute tourbillon (2) a corresponding additional reduction of 60: 1, this is preferably realized with additional wheels in the tourbillon frame, it is also possible, this reduction with a corresponding larger sprocket on the tourbillon frame or as a solid, internally toothed wreath to realize.
If a 12-hour tourbillon (7) is used, a corresponding additional reduction of 12: 1 is required.
So that the two or three tourbillons do not bring each other to a standstill by means of minimal gear differences, it is necessary to install a differential gear which distributes the torque of the barrel to the tourbillon, thereby allowing the tourbillons to make a relative advance or follow-up. Another solution is to use a separate barrel for each tourbillon, the barrels are raised together via the elevator shaft, so that all barrels can be completely wound up, the springs are preferably provided with a free-running outer end, as in the springs in watches with automatic lift has been used for a long time.
The second tourbillon (3) serves as a minute hand and the third tourbillon (7) as an hour hand, so that the time of such a clock can be set, these Tourbillons (3 and 7) with friction clutches similar to the road ( Minute tube) of a conventional clock. If both the minute hand and the hour hand are replaced by a tourbillon with a corresponding rotation time, turning the elevator shaft in the time setting position (crown pulled out) will cause the tourbillon to rotate forwards and the 12 hour tourbillon to reverse adjusted.
The vibrational frequency of the turmoil of the two or three tourbillons need not be the same, for example, the balance of the first minute tourbillon (2) swing at 5 Hz by changing the number of teeth of the anchor wheels, while the balance of the second and third Hour tourbillons (3) or 12 hour tourbillons (7) with 3 or 4 Hz oscillates.
