The invention relates to a method for controlling a heating, cooling and / or air conditioning device.
Heating, cooling and / or air conditioning devices are regulated according to the prior art by means of current measurements of relevant environmental variables. In heating systems, you will often find an outdoor sensor, which detects the temperature of the environment. By means of this temperature and thermostats in the rooms to be heated, the heating power is regulated. The cooler the measured temperatures are, the higher the necessary heat output for achieving the specified setpoint temperature.
The heating of the heated space depends on the temperature difference to be overcome, the available heating power and the inertia of the heating system.
In particular with underfloor heating, there are relevant delays between the onset of heating power and the achievement of the setpoint temperature. If there is a sudden change in the weather, requirements-based conditions are only available with a considerable delay.
Thus, on the one hand during a cold spell the rooms to be heated can be temporarily too cold, on the other hand, in a sudden increase in the ambient temperature, a much too warm radiator are present, which affects the well-being.
Equivalent applies to refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a method for controlling a heating, cooling and / or air conditioning device, which is not yet measurable weather expectation.
According to the invention this is achieved according to a method according to claim 1, characterized in that in the control of a heating, cooling and / or air conditioning device weather forecast data are taken into account in the scheme.
This is made possible by the heating, cooling and / or air conditioning device having a control with a data receiver, and corresponding weather forecast data are received via this data receiver. This allows data to be taken into account that is not yet available in measurement form.
According to the features of claim 2, the data of the outdoor sensor are also taken into account in the scheme.
According to the features of the dependent claim 3, the control has a data memory. Weather forecast data from the past is compared with the real weather data. From the difference, which was determined, there is a measure which is characteristic of the deviation of the specific investment from the expected data for the region.
As a result, for example, southern or northern slopes or a wind sheltered place can be considered in the control method.
According to the features of the dependent claim 4, it is possible to determine a parameter for the inertia of the heating system, in which the return temperature is detected as a function of the heating power. Accordingly, it is possible to take into account the weather forecast with an appropriate lead time.
Alternatively, according to claim 5, the temperature can be detected in the rooms to be heated, whereby also the inertia of the heating system can be determined.
In addition, as an alternative to the self-adaptive measuring systems, the lead time for the detection of the expected weather can be set manually.
This requires the subjective assessment by a specialist.
According to the features of the dependent claim 5, the geographical position of the heating, cooling and / or air conditioning unit can be determined in which, for example, a GPS signal or a strong-receiving mobile phone transmitter serves as a guide.
Alternatively, according to claim 8, the geographical position can be set manually by the operator.
According to the features of the dependent claim 9, the weather forecast data are transmitted to the heating, cooling and / or air conditioning unit in a specially adapted data format.
The invention will now be explained with reference to the figure.
The figure shows a heater 1 with a controller 2, which has a data memory 13.
With the control 2 outdoor sensor for detecting the temperature 8, the ambient pressure 9 and the ambient humidity 10 are connected. The heater has a flow line 16 and a return line 14, in which a temperature sensor 15 is arranged. Furthermore, the control is connected to a data receiver 3, which contains a GPS receiver 12. The GPS receiver 12 is in contact with a plurality of satellites 11.
When first commissioning the GPS receiver 12 receives transmission signals from satellite 11. From this can be exactly determined its position. This information is passed on to the controller 2, and stored in the data memory 13.
In heating mode, the device is initially operated as a conventional heater. In addition, weather data received via the data receiver 3 is used for control.
A conventional heating control usually regulates the flow or return temperature, which is detected in this case with the temperature sensor 15 in the return line 14. According to the invention, weather forecast data are additionally taken into account in the control unit 2 for controlling the appliance output. The data receiver 3 may be a radio receiver, a modem or another receiving device. Since modern heating devices are often connected via a telephone line using a modem, it is useful to provide additional information about this data line, such as an Internet connection.
In order to determine the inertia of the system, the heater 1 is operated after the initial startup with a certain heat output and the temperature, which detects the temperature sensor 15 in the return line 14, added as a function of time.
This results in a measure of the inertia of the heating system.
It is now assumed the case of an unexpected cold snap. The device initially runs at a power that corresponds to the current ambient temperatures. The data receiver 3 receives over the Internet from a given homepage specially prepared data, which provide information about the weather in the next few hours. In the control unit 2, the data set is compared with the information regarding the geographical position, which is stored in the data memory 13, and from this the relevant local weather information is extracted. Accordingly, it is known what heat output is needed in the next few hours. Depending on the inertia, the heating process begins before the outside temperature sensor 8 realizes a corresponding temperature drop.
Thus, the heating system is already preheated accordingly when the cold snap.
At the same time, the weather forecasts are compared with the data collected by the outdoor sensors 8, 9, 10. This will determine whether the area where the heated house is located is usually warmer or colder than the temperature forecast, as forecast by the weather forecast. This information is stored in the data memory 13. With a significantly large number of comparisons, there is thus a meaningful deviation.
In the next control involving weather forecast data, this deviation is used to correct the temperature setpoint.
The control method can be applied not only to heaters.
It is also possible, for example, to use a cooling system in which, for example, rooms heat is removed from a heat pump or air conditioning system and the heat thus obtained is transferred to a hot water tank. For this purpose, a heat pump can be included. Furthermore, it is possible to control a ventilation system with the weather data accordingly.
With respect to the local weather data being transmitted, an option is that at a position located between multiple reference points, the controller uses a correspondingly calculated fictitious temperature prediction value.
The weather forecast data must be in a readable manner. For this reason, it makes sense, for example, to use a modem which is connected to the Internet as the data receiver.
The modem logs in on a given homepage, which is preferably provided by the device manufacturer. Hereupon the information regarding temperature, time and location are ready for retrieval in a prepared data format. However, the data can also be transmitted in the form of a radio signal or telephone signal (SMS).
In the scheme and conventional control elements (heating curves or heating curves) are available.
If a solar system is integrated with the system, the control can take into account that at appropriate times thermal heat is available and adjust the heating power accordingly.
