The present invention relates to a vaporization nozzle for a steam cleaning apparatus, comprising a connecting element to a steam duct of said apparatus, means for supplying said vapor to diffusion means and means for cleaning a surface. plane.
The spraying tips currently used in the steam cleaning apparatus comprise, as a cleaning element, a piece of cloth, mop, pinch or the like on the steam outlet nozzle. During cleaning, this method of attachment requires the user to periodically remove the cleaning cloth from the device to rinse before putting it back in place. These operations take time and are tedious.
The present invention proposes to overcome this disadvantage by providing a spray nozzle, intended more particularly for a steam cleaning apparatus, in which it is no longer necessary to rinse the cleaning element in use.
For this purpose, the spraying nozzle as defined in the preamble is characterized in that the cleaning means comprise a strip of a cleaning material stretched between two rollers, each roller being rotatable about a fixed axis, and arranged to be unrolled continuously.
Advantageously, the axes of rotation of the two rollers are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the longitudinal edge of the strip of cleaning material.
In the preferred embodiment of the nozzle, one of the rollers is arranged to allow the unwinding of one section of the strip of clean cleaning material, and the other roll is arranged to receive the dirty portion of the strip of material. of cleaning.
For this purpose, the rollers are arranged symmetrically on either side of the steam supplying means and the means for diffusing said steam and the band of cleaning material is stretched between the two rollers under the diffusion means of the steam. steam.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the means for supplying steam to the diffusion means are rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the plane defined by the strip of tensioned material, and the coupling element to the pipe. The apparatus is steamed at an angle of about 120 DEG with said means for supplying steam to the diffusion means.
Preferably, the diffusion means comprise a face provided with perforations.
The cleaning material used may be a textile material or a nonwoven material.
The present invention and its advantages will be better understood with reference to the following description of an embodiment, described by way of non-limiting example, of a spray nozzle and the accompanying drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the spray nozzle according to the invention, FIG. 2 is a top view of the tip of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a bottom view of the tip of FIG. 1.
With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, the spraying nozzle 10 comprises a connecting element 11 to a steam pipe of a steam cleaning apparatus, not shown. This connecting element is extended by steam supply means 13 to vapor diffusion means 14 to which cleaning means 15 of a flat surface are connected.
The connecting member 11 is a cylindrical plug-in connector of known type on the end of the steam supply duct of the cleaning apparatus. In order to allow a comfortable position of the user, this connecting element 11 is connected to the supply duct 13 of the steam of the nozzle by a bent cylindrical portion 12 so that the angle made by the duct 13 with the duct the steam supply of the apparatus is substantially equal to 120 DEG.
The feed duct 13 of the nozzle 10 opens into the steam diffusion means 14 and is integral with said diffusion means by a rotary link 16.
The diffusion means, in the example shown in particular in FIG. 3, are in the form of a set of parallelepipedal shape 14 whose lower face 14a is provided with perforations or slots 17, regularly spaced over the entire surface, so as to ensure a uniform diffusion of steam, the duct supply 13 of the steam being secured perpendicular to the upper face 14b of said assembly.
The cleaning means 15 is in the form of a long strip 18 of a material, such as a textile material or a nonwoven material, stored, before use, on a first roll 19 and, after use, on a second roller 20. The rollers 19 and 20 are disposed on either side of the diffusion means 14 and integral with these diffusion means by means of two identical flanges 21 and 22 formed, in the embodiment described, of two arms forming a flared V which are respectively fixed to the opposite ends 14c, 14d of the assembly 14, perpendicularly to the faces 14a and 14b. Each arm of a flange is arranged to cooperate with the corresponding arm of the other flange to form a support for each roll.
For this purpose, each flange is provided with two bores intended respectively to receive one of the ends of two identical shafts 23 and 24 on which are threaded, being freely rotatable, respectively the rollers 19 and 20 of cleaning material. These axes 23 and 24 are mutually parallel and perpendicular to the longitudinal edge of the band of cleaning material 18. They are fixed to the flanges 21 and 22 removably by means known per se, so that the rollers 19 and 29 are parallel and arranged symmetrically on either side of the steam supply means 13 and the diffusion means 14.
When the rolls are in place, a section 25 of the cleaning material strip 18 is unrolled from the roll carrying the clean material and fixed on the receiving roll passing under the diffusion means 14, the strip 18 being stretched between these two rolls. During use, the rollers are locked in position by appropriate means known per se and not shown. After use, the rollers are unlocked and the soiled portion is wound on the second roll by rotating said roll about its axis. The two rollers 19 and 20 freely rotating on their respective axis, the winding of the section 25, soiled by cleaning, will automatically cause the unwinding and the introduction of a new section 25 clean cleaning material and ready for use. 'employment.
All the components of this nozzle 10 may be made by molding in a thermoformable material or any other suitable material. The cleaning material used may be a web of fabric, nonwoven material or paper towels or the like.
