Le dispositif de fixation de l'extrémité d'un bracelet au boîtier d'une montre selon l'invention est du type comprenant d'une part transversalement à ladite extrémité deux tenons alignés, dont l'un au moins est mobile en déplacement axial dans un canal d'où il peut s'extraire en partie en sorte de permettre une solidarisation aux cornes dudit boîtier par engagement de ladite partie dans l'un des trous alignés que comportent chacune desdites cornes;
The present invention relates to a device for fixing the end of a bracelet to the case of a watch.
Traditionally, the end of a bracelet is secured to the watch case by means of a bar comprising a tubular element at the ends of which two studs protrude, at least one of which is pushed outwards. by a spring housed in said tubular element, and the ends of which are intended to be engaged in two facing holes made in the horns of said housing. After having introduced the bar into a sheath or the like formed at the end of the bracelet, a pin is engaged in the hole of a horn, then the other pin is pushed back, compressing the spring, to engage it under the another horn and finally in the hole of this one.
The establishment of a bracelet equipped with such a fixing device requires a certain dexterity, knowing that for obvious aesthetic reasons the bracelet must have a width substantially equal to the space separating the two horns in order to hide the bar.
The difficulty of this operation does not allow to consider a quick change of bracelet, in order, for example, to harmonize it with the rest of the attire.
To overcome this drawback, fastening devices have been proposed incorporated at the end of a bracelet, provided with means allowing, by the operation of a lever, the retraction of at least one of the studs. Such a device is for example described in the document WO 97/24 044, where the two studs are, unlike those of traditional bars, brought back to each other by means of a spring, while a cam is interposed between said studs, the maneuvering of said cam, in rotation or in translation, making it possible to control the return or exit of said studs.
This type of device has drawbacks. In addition to the fact that it appears contradictory that the fixing is ensured by tenons resiliently recalled in a rest position corresponding to a decoupling position, such a device is relatively complex from the manufacturing point of view, since it implements a large number of pieces, and therefore expensive.
Fixing devices are also known in which at least one of the tenons is in relation to a lever pivotally mounted and resiliently recalled, so that the maneuvering of said lever allows said tenon to enter or exit. This is for example the case of the device described in document FR 2 445 120.
Unlike the above-mentioned cam devices, the rest position of this device corresponds to a fixing position. However, the implementation of this device is also relatively complex and therefore expensive. Thus, it is necessary to provide a locking means for blocking the stud (s), knowing that without it transverse displacements of the end of the bracelet relative to the case, would be liable to cause it to become detached.
The object of the present invention is to remedy the various aforementioned drawbacks by proposing a device for fixing the end of a bracelet to the case of a watch, which is very simple to manufacture and use.
The device for fixing the end of a strap to the case of a watch according to the invention is of the type comprising on the one hand transversely to said end two aligned pins, at least one of which is movable in axial displacement in a channel from which it can be extracted in part so as to allow it to be joined to the horns of said housing by engagement of said part in one of the aligned holes which each of said horns comprise;
and on the other hand a movable element resiliently recalled, capable of allowing the maneuvering of said stud (s), and it is essentially characterized in that the said stud (s) are movable in free movement and are linked to said movable member by means of means allowing, by the translation of said movable element in a direction different from that of displacement of said stud (s), to drive this or these latter in axial translation.
According to an additional characteristic of the device according to the invention, a tenon consists of the end part of a branch formed by the folding of a rod and which can slide in the channel, while the other branch is slidably mounted in the mobile element.
According to another additional characteristic of the device according to the invention, the two branches form an acute angle, while the movable element is biased elastically in the direction of the channel in which the stud (s) move axially.
According to a preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, it comprises two studs each formed by the end part of a branch coming from the folding at an acute angle of a rod, the other branch being slidably mounted in a housed insert , with the possibility of sliding in a direction not parallel to the axis of alignment of the studs, in a cavity formed in a body and which communicates with the channel, said insert being pushed back by an elastic element placed in said cavity between said insert and the bottom of the latter.
According to a characteristic of the preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the insert is operable by means of a pusher projecting from the body and integral with said insert by a connection passing through at least one opening made in said body and allowing the translation of said link in the direction of movement of said insert.
The advantages and characteristics of the device according to the invention will emerge more clearly from the description which follows and which relates to the appended drawing, which represents a non-limiting embodiment thereof.
In the accompanying drawing: FIG. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of a device for fixing the end of a bracelet to the case of a watch according to the invention. fig. 2 shows a schematic sectional view along a longitudinal plane of the same device. fig. 3 shows the same view of the same device during a phase of its operation.
With reference to fig. 1, we can see a device for fixing the end of a bracelet to the case of a watch, not shown.
Such a device is intended to be integrated into each of the ends of the bracelet, which may be made of metal or leather or the like. It essentially comprises a body 1 of substantially flat shape to allow this integration, and it comprises, emerging each from two opposite sides and close to another side, two studs 20 and 30 intended to be engaged in the holes made in the horns of a watch case, not shown.
Referring now to Figs. 2 and 3, it can be seen that the body 1 has an internal cavity 10 of parallelepipedal shape opening onto a transverse channel 11 through the ends 12 and 13 from which the tenons, respectively 20 and 30, emerge.
The tenons 20 and 30 consist of the end parts of metal rods and of round section, respectively 2 and 3, bent at an acute angle to form two branches 21 and 22, respectively 31 and 32, the branches 21 and 31 being partly housed in the channel 11, while the branches 22 and 32 extend in the cavity 10.
The branches 22 and 32 are taken in an insert 4 housed tightly, in the transverse direction, in the cavity 11 where it can move longitudinally, that is to say perpendicular to the axis of the channel 11, as appears on fig. 2 and 3 where the insert 4 occupies different positions. The insert 4 thus comprises two channels 40 and 41, of axes crossing, and crossing the axis of movement, and which each house a branch, respectively 22 and 32, the branches being free to move axially there.
Thus, due to the non-parallel directions of the axes of the channels 40 and 41 and the direction of movement of the insert 4, the axial displacements of the branches 22 and 32 in the channels, respectively 40 and 41 during the movement of the insert 4 , cause axial movements of the branches 21 and 31 in the channel 11. Since the axes of the channels 40 and 41 intersect, the movements of the branches 40 and 41 are in opposite directions, while the fact that the branches 21 and 31 make acute angles with the branches 22 and 32 respectively, the pins 20 and 30 move away from each other when the insert moves away from the channel 11 and vice versa.
It is easily understood that the maneuvering of the insert 4 makes it possible, according to its direction of movement, to exit or re-enter the tenons 20 and 30, and therefore, respectively, to secure or disengage the fixing device according to the invention .
It will be noted that it is possible, according to a variant, to use rods whose branches form an obtuse angle between them and an insert equipped with channels of adequate construction, so that the re-entry and exit of the posts are obtained by moving the insert in reverse. However, this solution has the disadvantage of being less compact.
It will also be noted that it is possible, according to another variant, for only one of the pins to be mobile, the other being fixed, integral with the body.
The operation of the insert is carried out by means of a pusher 5, visible in FIG. 1, projecting from one face of the body 1, in which an opening is made, not shown, such as for example a slot with an axis parallel to the direction of movement of the insert 4, to allow passage of a means connecting the pusher 5 and the insert 4.
Note that the pusher 5 and the insert 4 can be made of the same material, and preferably they constitute a single piece, for example coming from molding of a plastic material while the body 1 is metallic.
From the manufacturing point of view, provision is preferably made in the bracelet, at each end of the latter, a light of dimensions allowing access to the push-button 5 and the movement of the latter, this light being produced from SIDE intended to come into contact with the wrist.
In order not to risk an unexpected displacement of the insert 4 in the direction of the channel 11, which would result in the retraction of the pins 20 and 30 and therefore the separation of the device according to the invention, an elastic repulsion element 6, such that a spring is placed in the cavity 10, interposed between the insert 4 and the bottom 14 of the cavity 10, on the side opposite to that opening on the channel 11. The elastic element 6 thus makes it possible to push the insert 4 in the direction of channel 11, so that the retraction of the tenons 20 and 30 is only possible by exerting a voluntary movement of the pusher 5.
Advantageously, the device according to the invention requires few parts, which can easily be assembled, moreover, it is not necessary to use a locking means.
It goes without saying that the present invention cannot be limited to the foregoing description of one of its embodiments, capable of undergoing some modifications without departing from the scope of the invention.
