Description

The subject of the present invention is a sports shoe, in particular for sliding sports, walking or skating, comprising a textile, woven and / or non-woven or knitted upper, provided with plastic inserts, such as reinforcements, protection , buckle holder, lace holder, etc.

It is known practice to make uppers for sports shoes essentially from a textile material which promotes breathing of the foot, this textile material being preferably also waterproof. At least on the sides, at the malleoli, these rods are provided with more or less hard plastic reinforcements which are fixed to the rod by sewing. The seams, however, have two major drawbacks. The sewing operation first of all limits the hardness of the usable plastic, which must be crossed by a needle. In all cases, needle ruptures are frequent and their replacement disrupts manufacturing. On the other hand, in the case of the use of a waterproof textile, the seams have the effect of eliminating the waterproofing by creating what is known to call water intakes.

To restore the waterproofing, it is necessary to glue waterproof strips on the seams inside the shoe, which increases the cost.

The object of the present invention is to produce sub-assemblies constituting a upper, or even a complete shoe upper which overcomes the drawbacks of known upper.

The shoe according to the invention is characterized in that the plastic inserts are fixed to the seamless textile material, by anchoring the plastic material in the textile.

For this purpose, the inserts are overmolded on the textile material.

The injection of a plastic material on a textile is certainly already known, but for a different purpose. Thus, in patent CH 509,050, it is proposed to produce an inner lining of an injected plastic shoe by surrounding the mold core with the textile material before injection. In patent FR 2 737 394, it is proposed to manufacture a pre-sole by injecting a plastic material onto a textile sheet and leaving a marginal strip of textile free of plastic so as to allow the pre-sole to be assembled by sewing. to the upper of the shoe.

For implementing the method according to the invention, it is preferable to start with a strip of textile material which is advanced step by step between two shells of a mold into which the plastic is injected, then cut. then the rods, provided with their yoke, in the textile strip so as to obtain constituent sub-assemblies of rods, or even complete rods formed flat. These sub-assemblies are then assembled in the traditional way to constitute the rod.

As mentioned above, the method according to the invention can be applied both to fix reinforcements as well as technical elements such as lace loop, loop holder or decorations. Since the sewing operation is eliminated, the injected plastic can be a relatively hard plastic.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the invention.

Fig. 1 shows a shoe with a reinforced textile upper according to the invention.
Fig. 2 schematically illustrates the manufacturing process.
Fig. 3 shows a piece of textile tape provided with overmolded reinforcements.
Fig. 4 is a view in thickness of the strip shown in FIG. 3.

The shoe shown in fig. 1 comprises a rod 1 of knitted textile material. This upper 1 is provided with a plastic reinforcement 2 surrounding the rear of the shoe over the greater part of the height of the upper and descending on each side towards the middle of the shoe. The rod 1, open on the instep, further has a reinforcement 3 for the passage of the lace 4 and on which are further hooks 5. This part 3 is preferably also made of plastic also fixed without sewing textile 1. The shoe shown is also provided with an overmolded sole 6.

The reinforcement 2 is fixed by overmolding, as will be described in relation to FIGS. 2 to 4.

The textile material intended to constitute the upper 1 is delivered in the form of a strip 7 wound in a coil 8. This strip 7 is brought between the two shells 9 and 10 of a mold containing an imprint 11 of the reinforcement 2 to be obtained. The strip 7 is advanced step by step between the shells 9 and 10, at the rate of the successive operations of injecting the plastic into the mold. The strip shown in FIGS. Is thus obtained continuously. 3 and 4. The rods are then cut according to the mixed line 12. This gives a flat rod which is folded so as to give it the shape shown in FIG. 1. Part 3 is then also molded onto the textile.
