Darin zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine schematische Ansicht einer Vorrichtung zum Einschleusen von Büchern in eine Drehvorrichtung in der taktsynchronisierten Arbeitsphase;
The invention relates to a device for the isochronous introduction of book-like or book-block-like products, which are fed in successively from a pre-machine into a rotating device which detects the products in the center.
In DE-Offenlegungsschrift 2 432 579, a device for stacking books is placed under protection with a rotating device for the books, which are lying flat, aligned longitudinally on a rotating driven conveyor belt with the front cut or spine forward, for example every second Turn the book 180 DEG or when feeding the books with the head or foot cut ahead, alternately turn the books left or right by 90 DEG. The rotating device consists of a disc, which is held in a rotationally fixed manner by a motor, above the plane of movement of the books with a non-slip coating, and of a plunger with a head piece opposite the disc, which lifts the book from the plane of movement and presses against the coating of the disc and can be actuated by a lifting magnet.
The turning device and the lifting system are controlled via a photo cell. After passing through the photocell, the book is lifted in the middle, pressed against the pane and rotated, after which the further transport is carried out via a downstream rotating conveyor belt.
Control devices are generally known from the prior art for the automatic correction of cycle shifts between conveyor belts for feeding the same products to a further processing machine. Trailing products can be brought up to leading ones or defined gaps can be created.
DE-Laid-Open Specification 2,346,407 is mentioned by way of example, in which a control device for regulating the supply of objects to a packaging machine is described. The device comprises a storage belt, a belt for forming the distance and a conveyor belt assigned to the packaging machine with a plurality of driver elements. There is a sensor in the initial area of the storage tape, which is connected to control means for regulating and changing the running speed and which responds to the passage of the individual objects. To activate the sensor over a period of time corresponding to the running speed of the storage belt, the length of the product to be packaged in the running direction, means are provided which are under the control influence of the drive means of the conveyor belt assigned to the packaging machine.
The activation takes place in phase relation with the movement of the drivers arranged on the conveyor belt for the transport of the products.
The control device according to DE laid-open specification 2 346 407 intervenes in the conveying mechanism during a work cycle. The distance between successive products on the belt to form the distance changes cyclically by the predetermined value, which leads to maximum utilization of the packaging machine.
The object of the invention is to provide a device for the isochronous insertion of book-like or book-block-like products which are fed from a pre-machine in any sequence into a rotating device which detects the products in the middle, which ensures the positional accuracy in the rotating device and gentle treatment of the products with a high cycle rate ,
To achieve the object, the features of the independent claim are proposed. Advantageous further developments result from the dependent claims.
An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. In it show:
1 shows a schematic view of a device for introducing books into a rotating device in the clock-synchronized working phase;
Fig. 2 shows the device in a working phase before handing over the books.
The device is used for the isochronous insertion of longitudinally aligned books 1 into a rotating device 11, in which the books 1 are gripped centrally in a receiving position A, in accordance with the desired setting pattern, for example alternating to the left or right by 90 ° when fed with the foot cut or head cut ahead or when feeding with the back or front cut forward by 180 ° in the production flow and released in a delivery position B for stack formation.
The books 1 come from a preliminary machine, lying flat, one after the other, at uneven distances from one another or lying close to one another on a feed conveyor 4 driven by a drive unit 2 and having a deflection roller 5 on the outlet side, and are aligned directly with the feed conveyor 4 in the direction of the arrow subsequent transfer conveyor 6 fed continuously. In order to create a gap between the books 1, the feed conveyor 4 is driven at a reduced speed in relation to the transfer conveyor 6. To optimize the product flow, the feed conveyor 4 can be driven by a separate drive unit.
The transfer conveyor 6 with the deflection rollers 7 and 9 is driven by the drive unit 2 with a slave encoder 3 at adjustable speeds. To hold the books 1 in a slip-free position on the upper run, rotatable pressure rollers 10, which act against the books 1 from above with a predefined pressing force, are installed above the transfer conveyor 6 as pressure medium.
Between the transfer conveyor 6 and the rotating device 11 there is an infeed conveyor 8 in the form of toothed belts which run around a deflection roller 17 coaxial with the deflection roller 9 of the transfer conveyor 6 and around further deflection rollers 18 to 20, with the transporters 22 engaging behind the books 1 as carriers and one Support roller arrangement 23. To hold the books 1 on the transporters 22, a brush 24 acting from above against the books 1 serves as a holding means.
The rotary device 11 can be moved between a position A for receiving the books 1 and a delivery position B according to the direction of the arrow by means of a drive arrangement, known per se and therefore not shown, of a main drive motor 12 with a master travel encoder 13 and consists of a from above against the book 1 laying pressure stamp 14 and from a lifting plate 15 lifting the book 1 out of its plane of movement, which cooperates with the pressure stamp 14 in the sense of clamping the book 1 in its center. The means for the rotary drive of the pressure plunger 14 and the actuation of the lifting plate 15 in the direction of the arrow are known per se and are therefore again not shown in detail.
The rotating device 11 is located between the books 1 carrying, on the inlet side around a deflection roller 21 conveying belts 16 which, starting from the main drive motor 12, rotate synchronously with the advance of the rotating device 11.
Starting again from the main drive motor 12 as the master drive, the transporters 22 of the infeed conveyor 8 move synchronously with the advance of the rotating device 11. The transfer conveyor 6 adjusts its speed in proportion to the master drive. The distance between the conveyors 22 and the rotating device 11 can be preselected according to the length of the books 1 via a mechanical coupling between the main drive motor 12 and the infeed conveyor 8 by means of an adjusting device 25 with a scaling and is based on the takeover position of a book 1 by the rotating device 11 the pitch x, based on the center of the books 1 determined, plus half a book length. The setting result is stored in a controller 26.
Via the master encoder 13, the drive 2 of the transfer conveyor 6 with the slave encoder 3 receives the information about the position of the transporters 22 of the infeed conveyor 8. The format-dependent shift between the master encoder 13 and the transporters 22 is via a manual data input 27 Control 26 communicated and charged accordingly.
For the isochronous, positionally accurate transfer of the books 1 from the transfer conveyor 6 to the transporters 22 of the infeed conveyor 8 with regard to a bumpless, product-friendly transfer, the speed of the transfer conveyor 6 is increased by the interaction of the master travel encoder 13 and the slave travel encoder 3 via a clock shift to the transporters 22 regulated. For this purpose, the front edge of a book 1 is detected at any time by means of a light barrier 28 as a sensor in the inlet area of the transfer conveyor 6 and the path difference between the target position and the actual position of the master drive is calculated. The path difference calculated in this way is converted to the drive of the transfer conveyor 6 and stored for this book 1.
The stored value is switched to a position controller of the controller 26 as a correction distance to the proportional basic speed and the difference distance distance in the drive of the transfer conveyor 6 is corrected.
In addition, the rear edge of the book 1 can be detected via the light barrier 28 and the correction value determined via the front edge can be replaced by a new value which has been calculated analogously and stored in the controller 26.
The release for positioning the book 1 takes place when there is no longer any product between the front edge of a book 1 and a light barrier 29 as a sensor in the infeed area of the infeed conveyor 8. Only after a leading book 1 has been released by the light barrier 29 is the cycle shift of the transfer conveyor 6 triggered. The speed control of the transfer conveyor 6 is programmed as a function of format limit values in such a way that for the transfer of the book 1 to the conveyor 22 of the infeed conveyor 8 there is an acceleration to the isochronous point or a deceleration to a subsequent one. Cycles of the master drive may not be used.
