The invention relates to a table with a table top which can be inclined about a pivot axis of a table frame and locked in at least one inclined position and which is divided into an inclinable part and a storage part, on which the inclinable part is held by means of an axis parallel to the pivot axis, wherein the storage part is connected to the table frame by means of a support device and is held horizontally independently of an inclined position.
In a known table of the type mentioned at the beginning (CH 180 358), the storage part is guided in the vertical direction by means of a supporting device in such a way that it maintains its horizontal orientation and does not perform any horizontal movement relative to the table frame. A carrier on which the storage part is attached is additionally connected to a rail on which the inclinable part is arranged, with a further joint.
The invention has for its object to provide a table of the type mentioned, which in particular allows stable support of the inclinable part.
This object is achieved in that the pivot axis is arranged in the region of the longitudinal edge of the inclined part of the table top facing away from the storage part, and in that the storage part is connected to the table frame by means of a horizontal guide device which, while maintaining the horizontal orientation of the storage part, changes the distance between the storage part horizontally and swivel axis allowed.
This design makes it possible to support the pivotable part of the table top in the region of its two longitudinal edges, so that a very stable mounting is achieved. The additional horizontal guide device ensures that the horizontal alignment of the storage part is maintained in any possible inclined position even with this support.
In an embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the storage part is provided with at least one guide rod, which is guided on the table frame by means of a positive guide which specifies a horizontal position of the storage part. This positive guidance, which is arranged below the work surface of the table top, ensures that the horizontal position of the storage part is constantly maintained.
In an advantageous embodiment it is provided that the guide rod is provided with a curved guide slot, in which a stationary bolt of the table frame is guided. This results in a simple, robust construction.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the guide rod projects into a leg of the table frame which is provided with the bolt. As a result, the horizontal guide device is concealed within the leg, so that it is protected against manipulation and / or damage and, moreover, does not impair the visual impression of the table.
Further features and advantages of the invention result from the following description of the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing and the dependent claims.
Fig. 1 shows a side view of a table according to the invention with a tiltable table top, which has a storage part that is held horizontally with a horizontal guide device, and
Fig. 2 shows a detail of the horizontal guide device of the table of Fig. 1 on a larger scale.
The table shown in Fig. 1 in the side view has a table frame with two side parts, each of which is formed from a vertical leg (10), a horizontal foot part (11) and an upper receiving part (12) for a table top (13). The two side parts are connected to one another in the region of the legs (10) by one or more cross struts. The receiving parts (12) are each a tubular profile, which is attached to the upper end of each leg (10) and initially extends horizontally. In the area of their free ends, the receiving parts (12) are bent upwards and carry a pivot axis (14) which runs in the direction of a longitudinal edge of the table top (13) and about which the table top (13) can be pivoted.
In the area of the legs (10), the table top (13) is provided with a device for supporting and locking, which is designed in accordance with DE 4 201 846 A1. A support and locking bar (15) are each pivotably mounted below the table top (13) above the legs (10). These two support and locking rods (15) can be pivoted about a pivot axis (17) via a common actuating lever (16). The support and locking rods (15), which each protrude into a leg (10), are provided with a closed link guide (18) which is guided on a stationary bolt (19) of the legs (10). By pivoting the actuating lever (16) towards the table top (13), the support and locking rods (15) are also pivoted, the locking points of the link guide (18) being moved away from the bolts (19).
In this position, the table top (13) can be raised or lowered, whereby it pivots around the axis (14) and is adjusted accordingly obliquely or horizontally. The support and locking rods (15) are loaded in a manner not shown with a loading spring which acts on the supporting and locking rods (15) in such a way that the individual locking points of the link guide (18) are moved towards the bolt (19). The actuating lever (16) can thus be actuated against the action of these springs.
The table top (13) is divided into an inclinable part (20) and a storage part (21) which is guided horizontally in each position of this inclinable part (20). The storage part (21) is raised and lowered when the inclinable part (20) is pivoted, but it is guided on the table frame by means of a horizontal guide device in such a way that it maintains its horizontal orientation in any position.
The horizontal guide device is shown in more detail in FIG. 2. The inclinable part (20) and the storage part (21) are connected to one another via at least two hinges (22), the axis (23) of which runs parallel to the pivot axis (14) of the table top (13). The hinge parts (24, 25) of the hinges (22) are each embedded in the underside of the inclinable part (20) and the storage part (21) of the table top (13) and firmly connected to them, for example by screws. A guide rod (26) is firmly attached to the hinge parts (25) of the storage part (21), for example fastened by means of screws. The guide rods (26) extend essentially vertically down into the legs (10). They are arranged in such a way that they run essentially in the direction of the support and locking rods (15).
Since the guide rods (26) and the support and locking rods (15) are designed as flat irons, this results in a very compact design, the guide rods (26) not being noticeable in the side view of the table.
The guide rods (26) are each provided with a guide slot (27) forming a circular section, which receives the bolt (19), i.e. the bolt (19) on which the support and locking rods (15) with their link guide (18) are guided and can be locked.
When the table top (13) is raised from the horizontal position shown and tilted, the tiltable part (20) performs a pivoting movement about the pivot axis (14). The axis (23) of the hinges (22) moves in a circular path around the pivot axis (14). The horizontal distance between the axis (23) and the pivot axis (14) is reduced, i.e. the distance appearing in a vertical projection. The guide slot (27) of the guide rod (26) is designed in such a way that the entire storage part (21) carries out the same horizontal change in distance from the pivot axis (14) that the axis (23) of the hinges (22) also carries out.
This ensures that the storage part (21) maintains its horizontal relative position to the axis (23) of the hinge (22), i.e. remains horizontally aligned in all inclined positions of the inclinable part (20) of the table top (13).
In order to obtain the same function, in a modified embodiment, a guide rod for the storage part (21), which is guided vertically in the table frame, is provided, which is then guided with a slide in a horizontal guideway of the storage part (21) in such a way that the storage part does not pivot to the guide rod so that it is secured in the horizontal position by means of the guide rod.
In the table of FIG. 1 it is further provided that the two legs are made of telescoping tubes (28, 29), of which the lower tube (28) with the foot part (11) and the upper tube (29) with the Receiving element (12) is provided. A height adjustment mechanism (30) is effective between these two tubes and consists, for example, of a screw spindle which can be driven via an angular gear and which engages in a spindle nut. Such a design is particularly advantageous for a student table to adapt the table to the size of the user.
