Abstract

Aus der DE-B-2701 043 ist eine Sitzgruppe der eingangs genannten Art bekannt, bei der die Führungseinrichtung einen an der Sichtseite der Längswand befestigten Rahmen mit vertikalen Führungsohren für Laufbuchsen der Tischplatte aufweist, wobei als Ausgleichseinrichtung für die zu bewegenden Massen ein unterhalb der Tischplatte angeordnetes Gewicht dient, das mit der Tischplatte über umgelenkte Seilzüge verbunden ist. In der Tischstellung wird die Tischplatte durch eine Stange arretiert, die in einen Schloßteil des Rahmens eingesteckt wird. Das freie und der Längswand abgewandte Ende der Tischplatte kragt frei aus, so daß die Länge der Tischplatte und seine Tragfähigkeit in diesem Endbereich beschränkt sind. In der Bettstellung stützen sich die Laufbuchsen der Tischplatte im Rahmen einerseits ab, während das freie und der Längswand abgewandte Tischplattenende über eine abklappbare Stütze am Boden abgestützt wird. Besonders nachteilig ist bei der bekannten Sitzgruppe, daß die Führungseinrichtung und insbesondere geschmierte, metallische Teile an der Sichtseite der Längswand freiliegen, wo der Benutzer zwangsweise damit in Kontakt kommt und sich beschmutzt. Gerade für das Bettzeug ist dies ein gravierender Nachteil. Dazu kommt, daß die mechanischen Teile der Führungseinrichtung an der Sichtseite der Längswand einen unschönen Eindruck vermitteln und insbesondere in einem nett eingerichteten Wohnraum außerordentlich störend wirken. Auch die Handhabung dieser bekannten Sitzgruppe ist zwecks Verstellung der Tischplatte umständlich. Es besteht ferner ständig die Gefahr, daß die umgelenkten Seilzüge aus ihren Rollen gleiten und daß dann der Benutzer vor erhebliche Probleme gestellt wird. Claims (20)

1. Seating unit with two benches (3) arranged against a longitudinal partition (1) to face one another and having a table top (2) between them mounted on a guide device of the longitudinal partition (1) so that its height can be adjusted between a table position and a lower bed position, and with a counterbalancing device for the masses to be moved during adjustment, characterised in that the table top (2) is held on the longitudinal partition (1) with at least one parallelogram guide (10a, 10b, 12a, 12b), which passes through the longitudinal partition (1) and is anchored to the back of the longitudinal partition (1) facing away from the table top (2), and in that the counterbalancing device comprises at least one preloaded cylinder-piston unit (16) that engages with the parallelogram guide.

Seating unit according to Claim 1, characterised in that the parallelogram guide comprises a vertical strut (12a) fixed rigidly to the underside of the table top, a vertical strut (12b) that is approximately parallel to the first strut and is anchored to the back of the longitudinal partition (1) and two pivoting struts (10a, 10b), each supported in the two vertical struts in such a way that they can be swung up and down, and in that the table top (2) can be moved in front of the longitudinal partition (1) along a circular path between the two positions and remaining parallel to itself.

Seating unit according to Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the other pivoting strut (10b) is extended beyond its pivot (15b) in the vertical strut (12b) and has in the extension (31) a support point (29) for one end (28) of the cylinder-piston unit (16), whose other end is supported on the longitudinal partition (1), preferably with the vertical strut (12b).
6. Seating unit according to Claim 5, characterised in that the support point (29) is adjustable at at least one end of the cylinder-piston unit (16) to allow adjustment of the lever arm of the cylinder-piston unit (16) relative to the pivot (15b).
7. Seating unit according to Claim 1, characterised by a control device for moving the parallelogram guide carrying the table top (2) between the two positions (13, 14) of the table top (2).

Seating unit according to at least one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that in the control device two locking devices (7, 8 ; 9, 22, 23) for the table top are structurally connected and can be used to fix both the end of the table top facing the longitudinal partition (1) and the one opposite this, each independently, in the table position (13).

Seating unit according to at least one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the rod (17) near the locking element (7) engages in a sliding guide (20); preferably made of plastic with a low coefficient of sliding friction and preferably adjustable, which is fixed to the table top and allows small swivelling movements of the rod (1).
12. Seating unit according to Claim 1, characterised in that the knuckle point (22) can be adjusted .in the axial direction of the rod (17), preferably with an adjusting screw (18) located in the handle (6) and accessible from the front.
13. Seating unit according to Claims 8, 9 and 10, characterised in that the locking element (7) is formed in the rod (17) by a transverse pin, both of whose ends protrude so that after being introduced into the lock part (8) they can be locked in it by turning the rod (17) with the handle (6).
14. Seating unit according to at least one of Claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the leg (9) is pivot-mounted on a forked bracket (24) on the underside of the table top, this bracket serving as a height stop for the table top (2) in the bed position with the leg (9) folded in.

Seating unit according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the rod (17) is loaded by a spring (19) in the direction in which the locking element (7) is withdrawn from the lock part (8), this spring (19) preferably being arranged between the knuckle point (22) and a stop on the rod (17).
16. Seating unit according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the leg (9) has a roller (25) at the floor end and a slot (32) for the rod (17) above the knuckle point (22).

Seating unit according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that, passing through the longitudinal partition (1), the lock part (8) has a sleeve, whose back end is fixed to the back of the longitudinal partition (1) and whose front end finishes flush with the face side of the longitudinal partition (1).
18. Seating unit according to at least one of Claims 1 to 17, characterised in that two adjacent parallelogram guides (10a, 10b, 12a, 12b) are provided a certain distance apart with the lock part (8) between them.
19. Seating unit according to one of Claims 1 to 18, characterised in that in the longitudinal partition (1) vertical slots are provided which are only slightly larger than the thickness of the pivoting struts, and which may be lined with sealing elements using brushes or made of plastic.
20. Seating unit according to at least one of Claims 1 to 19, characterised in that on the underside of the table top a subframe (12) is fixed. on which the vertical struts (12a) lying outside the longitudinal partition (1) on the one hand, and the forked bracket (24) on the other, are fixed and supported.
