Bei 20 Schliess/\ffnungszyklen mit je 0,5 As Verbrauch, also 10 As pro Nacht, reicht dies im Fall des Schlafzimmer-Lärmschutzes für 360 Nächte, da: 10 As . 360 = 3600 As = 1 Ah.

The invention relates to a device for opening and closing a window depending on external influences according to the preamble of the independent claim.
To prevent undesirable external influences, it is known to close windows which are open for the purpose of ventilation of rooms, manually or by switching on a permanently installed device. If there is no one in the room who can determine the reason for closing the window, or someone is sleeping in the room, wind, rain, stench, ozone or noise can cause damage and impairment before the window is closed.
The invention is based on the object of specifying a device which makes it possible to measure outside world influences and to automatically open or close a window as a function of the determined values as soon as the outside world influences exceed certain values. This device should be able to be attached to every window.
These objects are achieved by the invention specified in the patent claims.
The device according to the invention measures the influences of the outside world by means of sensors, compares the measured values obtained with presettable threshold values and closes the window when the threshold value is exceeded. Noise, temperature, humidity and wind can be taken into account as external influences. It is advisable to monitor one or a combination of several of the above-mentioned influences.
Of the device according to the invention, either at least the sensors or the entire device are attached outdoors, but they are exposed to heat, cold and rain. If the bedroom is to be protected from noise, the sensor is preferably attached together with the locking device on the inside. In this case, if the noise level is exceeded, the window is closed immediately within a few seconds. After a preselected time of preferably 3 minutes, the same device opens the window. If the noise persists, only a gap is opened, which causes the level to be exceeded, and the window is closed again immediately. In the case of subliminal noise, the window remains open up to a set gap of preferably 2 cm or an angle of preferably 2 °. This can be more in summer and less in winter.
This saves heating, since a gap of 0.5-1 cm enables sufficient air renewal when there is a large temperature difference. If a larger gap is desired, the device can be moved closer to the pivot point of the wing, provided the force is sufficient to move the window, so that the lever is enlarged.
So that the window can also be fully opened and closed by hand, the force is transmitted from the closing / opening device to the window sash via a catch. This can be done by a linear movement, using a ball screw with an efficiency of about 90% or a Teflon threaded bushing with an efficiency of about 40%. Smooth running is achieved, which is essential for bedroom noise protection. In another embodiment, the force is applied by the rotary movement of a lever, with a preferably 1000-fold reduction of the engine speed via a gear, preferably with plastic wheels, ensuring high torque and smooth running.
Since the motor is switched on only rarely and only for a few seconds and the efficiency is kept high by measures to reduce friction, it is advantageous to operate the device with batteries, provided that the quiescent current can be kept small in the monitoring phase. In the circuit according to the invention, the use of low-power Mosfet technology for three-stage preamplifiers, threshold switches, time delays until reopening, supply splitting, forward / reverse reversal, start-up pulse shaper, RS flip-flop and control of the full-bridge pole changer 6 volts only requires 0.1 mA, which is enough for a UM-3 battery capacity of 1 Ah for 10,000 hours or a year monitoring phase.
With 20 closing / opening cycles, each with 0.5 As consumption, i.e. 10 As per night, this is sufficient for 360 nights in the case of bedroom noise protection, since: 10 As. 360 = 3600 As = 1 Ah. The locked position is left by manual actuation of the window, whereby the device is switched off via a micro switch.
A suitable choice of the upper and lower cut-off frequencies of the 3-stage microphone amplifier enables a psophometric frequency response adaptation to the human noise sensitivity.
In order to protect the slightly open window, which is only held over the catch, from violent break-in, a chain can be attached as an option. Another embodiment provides, instead of a detent, a mandatory force connection between the device and the window sash, with the manual connection of the window first of all releasing the mandatory connection by pivoting the driver sideways.
If several windows of one or more buildings are to be closed or opened at the same time, e.g. in the event of a storm, rain, ozone, stench, poison gas or radioactivity, a central monitoring point can simultaneously activate all devices for closing and subsequently opening the windows using an encrypted radio command.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawings.
Show it:
1 shows a window closing / opening device with built-in sensor and control electronics;
Figure 2 is a block diagram for bedroom noise control.
3 shows a detent mechanism for optional manual or automatic actuation;
4 shows a mandatory, but switchable closing force transmission;
5 shows an embodiment with an external sensor on the outside;
Figure 6 shows an embodiment with swivel arm actuation in supervision.
7 shows an embodiment with swivel arm actuation in a side view; and
Fig. 8 shows a detail of the connection of the swivel arm and window sash.
In Fig. 1, 1 is the slightly open window sash with the window 1a, to which the catch driver 3 is fastened, and in which the cam 4 of the spring catch 4a is engaged. The housing 12 is firmly connected to the window frame 2. In it, the motor 7, the threaded spindle 5, the threaded sleeve or ball-nut are arranged so that the web 11 is pushed back and forth in the guide slot 12 and close the window sash 3 via the catch 4a when noise occurs and later again when at rest can open. The sensor 9 - in this case a microphone - picks up the noise directly at the window gap and triggers the closing process via the electronics 10. The battery 8 takes over the power supply.
2, the noise signals from the microphone 21 are amplified by a 3-stage amplifier 22 which can be set to the desired noise level, rectified in 23 and fed to a threshold switch 24. The discharge time constant and the hysteresis of the threshold switch result in a pulse extension of preferably 1-10 minutes. Both the rising and the falling edge of the noise pulse trigger a pulse shaper 25 and 25a, which form pulses of preferably 0.5 sec. The latter are combined by the Oder gate 26 and fed to the setting input of the RS flip-flop 27. As a result, the motor is always under voltage. The direction of rotation is predetermined by the control unit 28 and the full bridge 29. The motor rotates until the window 3 on the frame 2 or the web 11 is at the rear end of the guide slot 12.
This increases the current to e.g. 300 times and thereby the voltage at the shunt 30 up to the threshold value of the comparator 30a and resets the flip-flop 27, whereby the motor 29a is stopped. The battery 8 supplies the current of approximately 50 mu A for noise monitoring as well as the approximately 200 mA for window movement with approximately 400 mA starting current.
Fig. 3 shows the driver 31 with the latch 35 in the slightly open position of the window, the driver 32 with the latch 36 when the window is automatically closed and the driver 33 with the latch released when the window is manually opened wide. The spiral spring 34 enables the latch to be latched in and out manually.
FIG. 4 shows the driver 41, which can be displaced by the distance 44, with which the pawl 43 moved in the area 45 can be coupled or uncoupled to the driver 41.
5 shows the drive unit 53 with the window 52 closed and the sensor 55 attached to the outside, which is connected to the drive unit 53 by a cable 54 through a bore.
6 and 7 show a variant in which the electric motor 3 is operatively connected to the window sash 1 via a swivel arm 65a. This means that the electric motor operates a swivel arm. At its free, swiveling end there is a detent cam 65 for engagement in a recess on the catch 63 on the window sash 62. The figures show the window frame 61, the closed sash 62, the catch 63 and a swivel arm 66 designed as a spiral spring with the catch Cam 65 in the closed window position. The geared motor 67 in the drive unit 64 opens and closes the wing 62 by the pivoting amount X. The open position is shown in broken lines
In an improved embodiment, according to FIG. 8, the driver on the window sash is a profile rail 733, which is provided with a V-shaped longitudinal groove 733. To engage in the longitudinal groove 733, the swivel arm 74 has a spring cam 75 at its free end. This is in the V-shaped longitudinal groove 733 of the profile rail 73 in a form-fitting manner in engagement. The spring cam 75 is pressed by a return spring 76 up to a stop 77 out of the swivel arm 74. The V-shaped longitudinal groove 733 has two outwardly inclined flanks 731, which correspond to two flanks 751, 752 on the spring cam 75 that extend for engagement. As a result, the spring cam 75 is held in the groove 733 in a form-fitting manner. Likewise, the profiled rail 73 has flanks 732 which are inclined towards one another on the outside.
This solution enables the window sash to be operated manually and the connection between the device and the window sash to be overridden. When operated manually, the spring cam 75 is pressed into the swivel arm 74 by the inclined flanks 732 and the window sash can be operated freely. Since the driver 3 is also provided on the outside with lateral, mutually inclined outer flanks 732, the window sash can be reconnected to the device in the same way. The spring cam 75 is pressed by the outer flanks 732 into the swivel arm 74, wherein it is automatically pressed into the return spring 76 when the V-shaped groove 733 is reached. This ability to be driven over enables the window sash to be operated by hand independently of the device.
It is clear that the pressure of the return spring 76 is selected so that the window sash can be operated by hand but not by a gust of wind. This embodiment of the device is supplemented by a bolt, not shown, of a known type which, coupled to the swivel arm, engages in a counterpart on the window sash in the closed end position. As a result, the window sash is automatically locked in the end position when it is closed and the device can no longer be run over by hand. This also makes the device burglar-proof. Nevertheless, the automatic opening, including unlocking and closing including locking, is silent.
The device can also be supplemented by sensors which react to the body heat of a person standing in front of the window and which can close and lock the window sash.
A further improvement occurs in that the device is operatively connected indirectly to the light switch of the room or directly via light sensors. This allows the window to close automatically when the lights in the room are switched on. This can be particularly beneficial in summer to prevent mosquitoes, etc. from entering.
