The invention relates to a dispenser for stackable products, in particular blisters containing electric batteries such as watch batteries, as well as a dispenser element and a container for this product dispenser.
Currently, watch batteries, individually packaged in blisters, are supplied to specialist watchmaking stores in cardboard boxes each containing ten of these blisters. The different kinds of watch batteries, which are generally of different sizes, are all contained in blisters of identical size, each box containing batteries of the same size. As there are around 24 kinds of batteries for watches, the specialist store must have at least 24 boxes, which poses problems of storage, access when you want to collect a given battery, and stock monitoring.
The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks by providing a dispenser for products, in particular blisters containing electric batteries, of very simple design, comprising a support means on which at least one dispenser element is fixed, said dispenser element comprising a housing in which a container and a spring means is freely placed, said housing, of oblong parallelepiped shape, having an open upper face and front face, said open front face comprising a substantially retaining wall portion central, said housing comprising in its lower part a projecting stop, said container, of oblong parallelepiped shape suitable for containing a stack of products to be dispensed,
comprising on the lower part of its front wall an opening whose height and width correspond to those of the products to be dispensed and of the lateral parts for guiding the product which is at the bottom of the stack, the lower part of the container comprising a slot parallel to the guide parts, into which said abutment of the housing penetrates, the abutment being arranged to act on said product from the bottom of the stack to cause it to come out of the opening when the bottom of the container is pushed backwards , said spring means being interposed in the space provided between the rear wall of the housing and the rear wall of the container and being arranged to act on this rear wall of the container.
The invention also relates to a dispenser element according to claim 7 and a container according to claim 8.
The advantages obtained thanks to the invention essentially consist in that a storage problem is solved with a very easy-to-use dispenser and in that the mechanism of the dispenser element only comprises three elements and is reduced by this fact in its simplest form. In addition, each dispenser element can be designed to offer an excellent view of the number of blisters that are still to be dispensed. In addition, as the blisters are all of the same size, the container for the present dispenser can be used as original packaging or as refillable packaging for the different kinds of batteries.
Other advantages and particularities of the invention will appear on reading the following description in which the invention is explained in more detail with the aid of drawings illustrating schematically and in a nonlimiting manner an exemplary embodiment of the invention .
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the dispenser.
Fig. 2 shows a sectional view of the dispenser ready to be used.
Fig. 3 shows a sectional view of the dispenser shown in FIG. 2, in a position occurring during its operation.
According to fig. 1, 2 and 3, the distributor designated as a whole by 1 comprises a support 2 intended to be fixed for example on a wall. Several dispenser elements such as the three elements shown 3a, 3b, 3c are removably attached to this support. The dispenser element can be attached for example by means of two pairs of Velcro type strips 4a, 4b. The support 2, which in this case has a C-shaped section, partially frames the three distributor elements 3a, 3b, 3c.
In an embodiment of the invention not shown, the support can be part of a device with revolving walls on which it is possible, for example, to have 24 distributor elements 3 corresponding to the 24 kinds of batteries.
In fig. 2, one sees the distributor 1 comprising a distributor element 3 ready to be used. The dispenser element 3 comprises a container 5 placed freely in a housing 6 and a spring 7 interposed between the container 5 and the housing 6. The housing 6 has an oblong parallelepiped shape having an upper face 8 and a front face 9 open. This front face 9 has a substantially central retaining wall portion 10. The lower part 20 of the housing 6 has a projecting stop 11 which has the shape of a rod. The rear wall 23 of the housing 6 has in its upper part a flange 12 intended to retain the spring 7 inside the housing.
The container 5, of oblong parallelepiped shape suitable for containing a stack of blisters 13, 13 min, 13 min min, etc. to be dispensed is held inside the housing 6 by the retaining wall portion 10. In this case, it has an open upper face 14 allowing the introduction of the blisters. This container 5 has on the lower part of its front wall 21 an opening 15 the size of the section of a blister 13, this opening constituting the dispensing orifice.
Referring also to FIG. 1, the lower part 22 of the container 5 comprises a slot 16 which is crossed by the stopper 11 in the form of a rod, and two lateral guide parts 17a, 17b of suitable shape for guiding a blister 13 towards the opening 15 during its distribution.
In fig. 2, the spring 7, which is interposed between the housing 6 and the container 5 in the free space located between the rear wall 23 of the housing 6 and the rear wall of the container 5, consists of a parallelepipedic plate having two elbows 18a , 18b. This spring 7, in a single part, is made of a plastic material having elastic properties up to a certain degree of deformation.
The container 5 contains a stack of blisters 13, 13 min, 13 min min, etc. each having a compartment for a watch battery not shown, these compartments being turned towards the bottom of the container 5. The blister 13, which is located at the bottom of the stack, is the first blister to be distributed. The compartment of the blister 13 containing the battery is located in the vicinity of the rod 11 of the housing 6 which passes through the slot 16, while the rigid flat part 19 of the blister 13 rests on the lateral guide elements 17a, 17b.
To use the present dispenser 1, it suffices to press on the lower part of the front wall 21 of the container 5.
In this way, as shown in fig. 3, the container 5 is tilted which is retained inside the support 6 by the retaining element 10 against the action of the spring 7 which is deformed. On the other hand, the upper edge of the container can, if necessary, slightly deform the upper wall of the support 2 which retains the container 5 in the housing 6. During tilting, the rod slides inside the slot 16 to a limit position, while pushing the blister 13 through the dispensing orifice 15. By releasing the support, the container 5 returns to its vertical rest position shown in FIG. 2 and the blister 13 located in the dispensing orifice 15 can be taken. The next blister 13 min then takes the place of the blister 13 and can be removed in turn following actuation of the dispenser.
In a preferred embodiment, the container 5 is made of a transparent plastic material. This has the advantage of allowing immediate control of the number of blisters 13 which remains in the container.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the container 5 is made in one piece.
According to another embodiment not shown, the container comprises a removable bottom. This can be an advantage if it is planned to distribute products of the same size but of different shapes with a distributor element of standard size. In this case, it suffices to change the removable bottom previously used with a new bottom, the shape of the opening 5 and the guide elements 17 of which are adapted to the shape of the products to be dispensed.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the stop has a rod shape.
In other embodiments, the projecting stop may have another suitable shape and pass through the lower part of the container so as to be able to push the product to be dispensed towards the dispensing orifice.
The present dispenser can, of course, be adapted to dispense other stackable products, in particular by an appropriate choice of the guide parts and of the dispensing orifice.
