Die Container befinden sich i.a., jeweils in Gruppen zusammengefasst, verteilt an verschiedenen Standorten.
- Lichtschranken, die im Container in geeigneter Weise angebracht werden;
- Ultraschallsensoren, die im Container in geeigneter Weise angebracht werden;
- Mikro- bzw. mm-Wellensensoren (GHz), die im Container in geeigneter Weise angebracht werden;
- Druck- oder Kraftsensoren, die im Container in geeigneter Weise angebracht werden und das Gewicht ermitteln;
- mittels einer Datenfunkstrecke Container-Konzentrator (in Fig. 1 nicht gezeigt);
- mittels einer Datenleitung 12 zwischen Sensor 1 und Konzentrator 3;
- mittels Anschaltung eines Modems an das Fernsprechnetz über Fernsprechleitungen 11 bzw. 31;
- mittels Anschaltung an den Temex-Dienst der Bundespost;
- mittels Anschaltung an den Datex-P oder Datex-C-Dienst;
- mittels Funkübertragung 32 bzw. 13 im Bereich des Betriebsfunkes (nömL = nicht öffentlicher mobiler Landfunkdienst) oder unter Nutzung des Modacon-Netzes;
- mittels Funkübertragung 41 an vorbeifahrende Datensammelfahrzeuge 4 (z.B.
- mittels eingebauten Akkus, die in bestimmten Intervallen getauscht werden bzw. die über Solarzellen geladen werden, die sich wiederum direkt am Container befinden können;
The invention relates to a method for detecting the filling level of bulk goods containers distributed over an area, in particular waste or recycling containers according to the preamble of patent claim 1, and to an arrangement for carrying out the method according to the preamble of patent claim 7.
Bulk goods containers, which have an i.a. large-scale area are widely known. They are usually part of a collection system in which bulk goods are first brought to the individual bulk goods containers and temporarily stored therein. The individual bulk containers are regularly approached by emptying vehicles, which empty the bulk containers and dispose of the collected bulk goods. Known examples of such a system are municipal waste disposal or the disposal of production waste on a factory site, but also the disposal of intermediate storage during harvest is one such example.
Another well-known example is the disposal of valuable materials. In many municipalities, some of the so-called recyclables such as glass or paper are collected using recycling containers. The containers are generally located in groups, distributed at different locations. Citizens now have the opportunity to bring their recyclables to these containers and throw them in. At certain intervals, these containers are then approached by appropriately equipped emptying vehicles and the containers are emptied. If the emptying intervals are too short, this means that the containers are not full, but they can still be started without being necessary. If the intervals are too long, the containers are overcrowded and the citizens would have to take their recyclables back home.
Often, however, they simply place them next to the containers. In addition to a mess of the parking space, this behavior means an additional effort when emptying the containers.
The object of the invention is, on the one hand, to specify a method with which the fill level of bulk material containers, in particular garbage or recycling containers, can be centrally recorded with the least possible effort in terms of time and costs, and on the other hand to create an arrangement with which such a method can be carried out as simply as possible.
The solution according to the invention in relation to the method to be created is represented by the characterizing features of patent claim 1 and in relation to the arrangement to be created by the characterizing features of patent claim 7. The remaining claims contain advantageous developments and further developments of the method according to the invention (claims 2 to 6) and the arrangement according to the invention (claims 8 to 13).
The main advantage of the invention is that the fill level of the individual containers can be recorded centrally without delay, so that an optimization of the route planning for the emptying vehicles is possible.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of its use in the disposal of recycling containers set up over an area. In Fig. 1, a preferred embodiment of such an "intelligent" recycling container system according to the invention is shown. There are several recycling containers set up across an area, either individually or on parking spaces 5, for example in groups of three or four.
Each of these (not shown in Fig. 1) recycling container is equipped with a level sensor 1, which is either directly connected via a wire line 11 or via a radio link 13 to a central station 2 or - in the container groups on the parking spaces 5 - via wire lines 12 to a parking space data concentrator 3, which in turn is connected to the control center 2 either via a wire line 31 or via a radio link 32. For the radio connections 32 and 12, both the parking space data concentrator 3 or the recycling container (fill level sensor 1) and the control center 2 each have an antenna 30, 10 or 20.
1 also shows a fill level sensor 1 of a further recyclable material container, which is in radio communication 41 via an antenna 10 with a vehicle 4, which can query the fill level data of the individual recyclable material containers by radio as it drives past. For this purpose, the vehicle 4 is equipped with a transceiver with an antenna 40. This type of level data acquisition is particularly suitable for cases in which a direct radio connection to the control center 2 is not possible (for example due to shadowing effects) or can only be installed with great effort and in which the connection of a data line is economical or not worth it for technical reasons.
In this system, a suitable sensor 1 is used to determine the fill level of the respective recycling container. This information is transmitted together with a container identification to the central deployment site 2, evaluated there and the emptying tour of the emptying vehicles is planned in accordance with the emptying needs of the individual containers (tour optimization). This ensures that the containers are emptied as required. \ Ecologically and economically nonsensical empty runs are eliminated. Full containers are recognized immediately and you can react accordingly.
The following can be used as sensor 1 for detecting the fill level:
- light barriers that are installed in the container in a suitable manner;
- Ultrasonic sensors that are installed in the container in a suitable manner;
- Micro or mm wave sensors (GHz), which are mounted in the container in a suitable manner;
- Pressure or force sensors, which are installed in the container in a suitable manner and determine the weight;
- or a combination of the aforementioned measurement sensors.
The fill level data recorded on or in the container in one of the aforementioned ways are queried continuously or in a specific cycle and transmitted to the control center 2 by radio or by data line. Before the data of the containers of a parking space 5 are transmitted, they are recorded and preprocessed by the assigned parking space data concentrator 3 and only then forwarded to the dispatch center 2. The data is transferred from containers to the associated parking space data concentrator 3, for example:
- By means of a data radio link container concentrator (not shown in Fig. 1);
by means of a data line 12 between sensor 1 and concentrator 3;
by means of a data line which is only brought up to the container (not shown in FIG. 1). The data are then inductively coupled in and passed on to the concentrator 3.
After the data in the data concentrator 3 have been processed accordingly, they are forwarded to the next sub-control center (not shown in FIG. 1) or directly to the control center 2. The forwarding of parking space data concentrator 3, but also - in the case of individual containers - from individual sensor 1 to control center 2 takes place, for example:
- By connecting a modem to the telephone network via telephone lines 11 or 31;
- by connecting to the Temex service of the Bundespost;
- by connecting to the Datex-P or Datex-C service;
- by radio transmission 32 or 13 in the area of company radio (nömL = non-public mobile land radio service) or using the Modacon network;
- By radio transmission 41 to passing data collection vehicles 4 (e.g. garbage trucks).
The individual containers require a corresponding energy supply for determining the fill level and forwarding the data (not shown in FIG. 1).
The individual container receives the energy, for example:
- by means of built-in rechargeable batteries which are exchanged at certain intervals or which are charged via solar cells, which in turn can be located directly on the container;
- By means of a plug contact, the energy coming from a central container parking space power supply, which in turn is fed from the public grid, or from solar cells with a buffer battery switched on.
If a power supply is transmitted via a plug contact, it is also conceivable that the data from the container can be modulated onto the same line. Furthermore, it is conceivable that both the data and the energy are transmitted from the container to the data concentrator and in the opposite direction by means of induction coils attached at a suitable point. The induced energy is then collected in suitable storage media (concentrator / battery) in the container. So that the corresponding positioning accuracy of the container is achieved in this case, a positioning device is required. E.g. in the form of a platform made of suitable material and with appropriate receiving bays.
The data determined using the previously described methods are recorded and processed in the control center 2 and corresponding actions (e.g. output of the tour plans for the individual disposal vehicles) are triggered.
It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the example described, but rather can be transferred to others. So it makes sense to optimize municipal waste disposal in the same way. The disposal of production residues on extensive company premises can also be optimized in this way.
However, the invention can also be used to advantage in industrial production; e.g. the loading of production lines and the collection of intermediate and end products that arise at different locations and are also stored there can be optimized with a system according to the invention.
It is also possible that the individual locations of the bulk material containers each have suitable receiving bays for the containers and that appropriate scales are built into these receiving bays. The individual containers generally require then no additional equipment, since the respective parking space and the respective weight are registered and transferred to the control center.
