Beschreibung description
The present invention relates to a slat carrier belt for roman blinds according to the preamble of claim 1.
The slats of Roman blinds are held on the outside and inside by at least two slat support straps (also called a loop cord). For this purpose, the carrying straps are movably connected to the longitudinal slat edges so as not to hinder the formation of the slats when the store is lifted and their pivoting movement when the store is lowered. These tapes are textile tapes. At regular intervals, the straps are provided with cord loops which are positively connected to an eyelet or clip attached to a longitudinal edge of the lamella and form an articulated connection therewith. In the known embodiments, the lamella support tapes are produced in the crochet-gallon process and a cord is knitted into the tape in the form of a serpentine line. At those points where the tape must have a loop, a twist of the cord is pulled out a few millimeters over the one longitudinal edge of the tape. A disadvantage of this carrier tape is that it shortens under the influence of moisture, dirt and UV light. The outer tapes are subject to this phenomenon more intensely than the inner ones and therefore shrink more over time. As a result, the slats can no longer be fully closed when the store is lowered just a few years after it has been installed. Another disadvantage is that these tapes have a high elasticity due to the manufacturing process. In high stores with high load on the carrier tapes due to the slat curtain, this results in an irregular slat spacing that increases from bottom to top, which prevents an evenly good slat closure. In order to counteract the high elongation, it was proposed to act on an aramid thread coated with UV light protection lying along the band and on the meandering loop cord. In order to be effective, an aramid thread incorporated into the knitted fabric made in the crochet galon process requires a thick UV light protection jacket, as a result of which the carrier tape becomes thick and stiff. When lifting a store, this interferes with the package formation of the slats. The elastic elongation of the band can therefore only be reduced insufficiently under the aforementioned conditions. Effective UV protection cannot be achieved in the crochet galon process.
In order to eliminate all the disadvantages mentioned, woven tapes with aramid reinforcement have become known, to which loop-shaped bent cord sections are cast with a plastic seal. The disadvantage of these tapes is the comparatively high price.
Erfin- The present invention therefore has as its object to improve a carrier tape of the type mentioned in such a way that the disadvantages are largely eliminated while maintaining its advantages. Invent
Accordingly, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
With the invention, the aforementioned weather-related contraction of the carrier tapes is avoided and the elastic stretch is drastically reduced.
The invention is explained, for example, with the aid of the attached schematic drawing.
The section of the carrier tape shown in the drawing consists of a dense fabric with the warp threads 1 and the weft thread 2. Adjacent to the warp threads 1 running in the area of the right longitudinal edge, a cord 3 is incorporated into the fabric as a warp thread. The cord 3 forms a loop 5 along the belt at regularly spaced locations 4 corresponding to the slat width of the store, which loop protrudes transversely from the warp threads 1. The shape of the latter is stabilized by the adjacent loops of the weft thread 2. In addition, the extensive wrapping of the cord 3 by the weft thread 2 causes a high static friction between the fabric and the cord 3, so that the loops 5 have a pull-out strength that is far above the load capacity of the slats. To further reduce the elastic band stretch, it is possible (indicated by dash-dotted lines in the drawing) to use one or more aramid threads as warp threads or warp threads. In this case, the woven tape forms sufficient UV light protection because of the dense weave structure (compared to a crocheted tape).
